Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).

After taking my bridal portraits I was very uncomfortable, adjusting my dress constantly, and nearly tripping. I knew I couldn't go like this to my wedding. I called Agape and she told me to bring the dress in the same day and promised a quick turn-around time. I believe the owners name is Joy, and she is so kind and helpful. She made a great suggestion to make me more comfortable in my dress and also took the hem up further so I could walk comfortably. I work early hours, so she agreed to meet me early in the morning on a weekend so that I could get my dress ASAP. She also brought up the neckline on another dress I'm using for my wedding. Her turnaround time is impressive and her pricing is very fair. She does not try to upsell you and will not alter things that she doesn't see necessary. I am so, so, so grateful to her for making me feel comfortable in my wedding dress. I only wish she had been my first stop! I will bring any items I need tailored to Agape in the future. In fact, I already have a 2027 wedding on the calendar, so when I get my dress I'll be back!

She did not have the alterations done by the pick up date and kept giving me the runaround about picking up my suit. She's no longer returning phone calls about it. Not sure if I'll ever get my suit back. Wish I wouldn't have prepaid for the alteration. For anyone interested, here's what happened: I went to Sabrina's shop on September 4, 2021. I needed to get my suit altered for attending a wedding. I let her know the date of the event and she gave me an estimated pick up date that was a couple of days before the wedding. Unfortunately, I ended up getting Covid right before the wedding and could not attend. I called Sabrina a couple of weeks after my pick up date when I had fully recovered and explain the situation. She informed me that it was a good thing that I couldn't go to the wedding because she actually was not able to do the alteration at all. So if I had been able to go to the wedding, I would not had had a suit to wear. She let me know that she would have the alteration done by Friday of that week. She also informed me that she had to move the location of her business and would let me know when and where to pick up the suit when she called me to confirm it was ready. I received no call to pick up my suit. I gave it another couple of weeks and called her again and the same events repeated. She told me she'd finish by Friday and call me to confirm and then never called me. After the second time that happened, I left her a voicemail telling her not to even worry about doing the alteration and I just wanted my suit back. Ever since that point, she has not returned any of my phone calls. I've called her multiple times and left multiple voicemails simply requesting that I get my suit back. She has not responded to any attempts to reach her. Because she changed the location of her business, I have no idea where to go to request my suit back in person. I'm not sure if she lost or damaged the suit or something more nefarious has happened but regardless, I am here several months later, in a different calendar year, with no suit. I wish I had looked at more of her reviews before I went because it seems like this is not the first time she's done something like this.
