She provides detailed instructions on how to find her location (as it is tucked away) in the confirmation email you receive for your appointment once you book and parking recommendations are included as well with specific recommendations on her time policy. Client appointments are short increments so if you are running 10 mins late for your appointment (with a restaurant resy this would be fine), you're going to eat into her next clients appointment time which is why she specifically states her time policy in the confirmation email - which I respect. Quality of work is top-tier - the shape of my eyebrows has drastically improved since seeing Tory (post overplucking era in my younger years - don't do it kids). My skin is quite sensitive so I get the tweezing add-on when I go in for a wax and I love getting a stain for special occasions. I also really appreciate that although she has some celeb and influencer clients she still keeps an open schedule for us regular shmegular people and is super chill and down to earth. I'm not in the habit of giving money to anyone without an understating of what I have bought. I called to get a copy and they said the only thing they could send me was an electronic link to a live document. I said I would like a paper receipt or a pdf via email and they said they couldn't do that. Do not do business with them! I had one complimentary new customer wax and after it was done I gave them my credit card and attempted to sign up for a membership. I cancelled this membership as soon as I was told they couldn't provide me with a receipt. Since then they have charged me $180 on my credit card without my consent. I have called consistently to rectify this with the company directly but there is never a manager available and the call centers can only email someone to call you back. After 36 days of calling the marina del rey locations phone , I have finally spoken with their manager or owner Ashely. She is a dense woman who does not understand business or the basics of a vendor providing a customer with a receipt of payment. (I now understand where their hapless business acumen is coming from as I have just spoken with the head dummy and boy is she terrible.) I have had to call my credit card to have my money refunded and block them from using my credit card. If you do need to go here, pay cash and do not give them your credit card, as they will use it arbitrary without your consent. I have had ONE new customer wax service and will never ever go back because of this terrible experience. Super scam! Zero stars / negative review (five zeros!)
