I asked for the price, and the owner quoted me $40.To avoid any confusion, I asked TWICE , and she confirmed $40 both times.I even have the text messages to prove it. I made the appointment for 1:00 p.m. and traveled over an hour by bus based on the price the owner gave me. The moment I sat down with the braider and mentioned the $40 quote, she immediately looked confused and said there was no way that style should cost $40. I showed her my text messages with the owner. The braider wasn't the issue at all she was mostly professional and was simply trying to understand why the owner had quoted a price that didn't make sense. When the owner finally got on the phone, instead of apologizing for her mistake, she immediately became rude, argumentative, and accusatory. She actually asked me why I thought the style would only cost $40 and said, "You knew what you were doing." **Excuse me?** **I DIDN'T make up the price. Customers should not have to pay for your mistakes after they've rearranged their schedule and traveled over an hour to your business. She even bent my ears as far down as they could go to clean behind them. Uh, okay? Apparently she doesn't know what nerves are. Do you know how hard it is to take care of fine blonde hair? I was just starting to grow it in thicker with collagen and vitamin D, too. Lost all of the hair I grew, and I feel ugly. I totally feel the spots on my head where the knots ripped out chunks of my hair. I thought you were supposed to go into salons and come out feeling beautiful. I brought my own brush and was VERY SPECIFIC about the sort of hair that I have and I spoke up when the hair wash lady was hurting me. I feel ugly and old with all this hair missing.
