Mafia Tattoo is more of an alternative, easy going tattoo shop than most tattoo shops that I have been in. (Unlike places like High Priestess, where I have been and know of others who have been judged). I felt very comfortable and relaxed both times I have been here, unlike when I have b=gone to other tattoo shopsd with friends. Thses were my first tattooes, and Jason listened to what I wanted, and looked at what had interested me. He gave great advice and helped me make up my mind about the decisions about my tattooes. Jason was even patient with how many times I changed my mind on details. I am very happy with the suggestions Jason gave. I couldn't be more satisfied with the way my tattoos turned out. The prices Jason charges for a tattoo is very reasonable, and a lot of times he will try to beat the other estimates you got. He is not only reasonably priced, but he tattooes quickly, while still having great work. . Jason, the owner and tattoo artist, is very friendly, and out going. He does great work: line work and shading. His wife comes in to visit and is also very friendly and out going. Jason made my experience as good as it could have been. One of the most talented artists in the Northwest. I have watched jason do countless tattoos. My son had sleeves done by a prior artist that couldn't color in the lines of a micky mouse color book. Hard lines we didn't think could ever be fixed. Jason covered those up and has done extensive other work. My son has referred countless others that have seen his tats and want the same artist. As for children in the shop I aplaude the family friendly environment of this shop. I am able to bring a 4 year old and not feel awkward. Jason is not just a tattoo artist but a fantastic person that loves people. As for Marijuana that broad is apparently smoking too much herself. I have known jason on a professional level for 3 years and a personal level for 2. He doesn't even smoke cigarettes. I have never known him to drink I think the bad reviews are sour grapes that they had to wait. Jason is busy because he is a fabulous artist. So you had to wait for quality work. Shop was clean and beyond professional!! I have personally gotten over 50 hours worth of tattoo work from Jason Greer and have followed him to 4 different shops around Oregon and the conventions he does!! The effort and patience he puts into every piece is on key! He listens to what you want and gives you perfect results!!! Sometimes better than you expected! For the girl complaining she waited so long on a grand opening...you're lucky you were even acknowledged!!! Everyone knows on a grand opening its going to be insane! They must be good otherwise it wouldn't have been!! People wait MONTHS to get tattoos! It's worth the wait...after all it's on your body for LIFE! I'm the owner of Mafia Tattoo in Corvallis Oregon. The grand opening was very very busy. I had a long waiting list starting at 10 am. For any one that didn't get tattooed I offered to extend the deal with a gift certificate and appointment. We were doing $13 dollar tattoos all day long. If you waited only a few hours and did not get tattooed I am sorry. We had people wait ALL DAY and still not get tattooed. We we're packed from open to close. My shop is very clean and friendly. As for the accusations of smelling like " marijuana " I do not smoke even tobacco. I don't drink. Yes children have been in my shop because we are a family owned business and family and children friendly !!! Quality tattoos at reasonable prices. The ink work speaks for itself. These larger designs are for people who are serious about getting serious work done. You are not going to find this kind of quality in the surrounding area. You'd have to go to Eugene or Portland, and there are only a few artists in those places that can work at this level. read more
