WORST place ever! They were supposed to serve 7 appetizers per table(total 7 to 10 tables) and some of the tables just got one to zero appetizer but none of the tables got all the 7 appetizers and they kept saying "Sorry, we ran out of appetizers!". Hi, I along with two other ladies attended the Bridal Expo yesterday at Maestro's. I have to tell you that this was the WORSE event that I have ever been to, and I was totally shocked because it happened at Maestro's! There was entirely too much happening at once at this venue, and because I have been to many events here in the past this venue could handle it but NOT YESTERDAY!!!!! How do you have a wedding going on and people walking all through the wedding party and stepping over the brides dress to get to the back of the venue for the Expo. I know for a fact that this venue is not cheap! And the service that was rendered by your staff was absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! they had no regard for the ceremony that was going on, they did not govern the flow on the inside, they were too busy talking and standing around. I have to say that I was totally disgusted by your staff and the handling of someone's wedding that takes a lot of planning and money!!! Also your valet staff was horrible as well, totally confused! They were taking tickets from people , not remember that they took the ticket, didn't get the keys from the key box in the front, then asked the same people again for their tickets , etc.. It was HELL to get away from this MESS of a night at Maestro's!!! All I can say is that you guys DROPPED THE BALL big time!!!!!!! Attended a retirement party last week. The food was not edible. Eight people from my group that attended the party got sick, some worse than others. When we called to inform the manager (VINNY) of the incident, his response was "I find that hard to believe". He also stated that everything on the menu was "fresh". Canned candied yams and canned collard greens are not "FRESH". No apologies were extended, talk about adding insult to injury!!!! Please choose wisely when searching for a venue. read more

went to events there a few times. I do not eat meat, seafood or poultry and they have no vegetarian meal. I had fruit cup, soup, salad, potatoe and veggie. Was still hungry. What can I say about this establishment?! The entire experience was exceptional from beginning to the end. From the time we walked in to set up our date for our wedding reception we were welcomed. Bill made us feel extremely comfortable. We were even more surprised at how accommodating they were with our decorator and the timing for our event, moving us into the grand ballroom, which we originally wanted but was booked when we first confirmed our date, when they realized that the party that had originally booked it had moved their date. They let us store the decorations there the day before so that my decorator didn't have to worry about hauling it all there the day of the wedding. They set up my cocktail hour in a smaller room, just so they and my decorator could have time to set up the grand ballroom. The guest loved walking through the mirrored hallway!! The exceptional service of the staff, especially Frankie, the captain was phenomenal!! My guest are still talking about the food! Some of them couldn't believe that everything was cooked at the venue. I have seen some reviews where guest say that the food wasn't good, I don't blame that on the venue. We did 3 food tastings and by the reaction from my guest, we picked the perfect items; because I will admit that not everything we tasted was good. If you go here and you don't like the food, that's only because the host of the party didn't do too good with picking the right menu items. I am still trying to find more ways to thank them for helping to make our day wonderful! I have already spoken to them and plan on having my uncle's surprise 60th birthday party here next year. I can understand the old school decorations and cheesy look...what I cannot understand is the horrible food. I mean, pene a la vodka in this place = dry plain pene with a chunk of tomato sauce/paste only on a quarter of the tray. Okay... macaroni & cheese = dry elbow pasta with cheese in only SOME areas... everything was cold and had no flavor. I dont mean to complain, but paying to go there for a party was not the best!!! We came to the New Year's Eve event here and could not have been more disappointed especially at $100/pp & $50/per child. We left deaf from sitting right in front of the dj speaker with 2 children. The place was freezing the whole entire time and I don't mean just a slight chill. I regret checking my coat so I could wear it. The table was crammed. They need to get some training on their food and how to make it bc some of their dishes during cocktail hour were horrible but was the best food of the night. Dinner which was supposedly a filet mignon with 3 scrimpy pieces of shrimp. We were never asked how we wanted our steak was cooked and everyone was served a unflavored well done piece of meat. The shrimp was just blah as well. When asked why we weren't asked how we would like out steak cooked, we were told that management said not to ask and serve everybody the same. Great job! The bar had 0 Top shelf liquor and not much of a selection. My daughter hated the food which was almost like what the adults had but a smaller portion, they had nothing for a children's menu. I'm glad I didn't select this place for my daughter's Communion party bc this place was atrocious and when mentioning the issues it was shrugged off while the m.o.d danced in corner making videos. I'm glad I didn't read these reviews before booking Maestro's! I did not have a problem with food at all. I am Puerto Rican and do not do bland food. When I booked the place I had a tasting date where I could let the chef know if i needed anything adjusted. Perhaps some of the reviewers are basing it on the taste of the person who threw the event. Everything was delicious and pretty much perfect on my wedding day and the price could not be beat. I have also attended various parties there since then and was able to taste the Caribbean/Jamaican food which was also delicious. I cannot say I have any complaints regarding service or staff either. They will really work with you and try to give you the best experience. read more

I went to this place and sat down and talk with Bill...nice guy...gave me my quote and all the good stuff. When I came back to leave my deposit which was the same day I just went to the bank to get money for my wedding. Vinnie change everything and change my cost per head. He told me that I have to have more people than I already had because he is not going to lose money if I don't have that much people... I said I have 100 people how much more do you want..And i said are you kidding me because I am paying you to have my wedding here so how are you losing money... Anyways long story short don't have no kind of party's there they're are unprofessional and very rude.. They don't care about pleasing the couple they are just about money money money!!!!! Family and I spent New Years here. We were so excited. I've been to many catering halls - worse experience ever. Get there and saw roach crawling on chair. I figured, hey, that can happen, didn't like it, but didn't form judgment. Now to the real issues... we had to ask over and over for refills of water or soda at table, they never cleared a cup from the table the whole night. We had to ask several times for plates to be removed so new plates can be placed. All the cocktail hour food was pretty much cold, except once when I was lucky enough to get rice when a new tray was coming out. The servers at cocktail hour were generous with the serving, but hard to enjoy food when it's cold. Only half our table received dinner plates...we had to go to the kitchen twice and actually walked in to ask for 7 plates. We asked 3 different waiters for forks but never got them until we went looking for the manager. He did address the issue promptly but it was already too late - the experience was horrible. 4 of the 7 plates brought out had steak so black I was surprised a kitchen would allow them to go out and surprised a server would run that food to a table. To add to the negative experience they serve steak but never brought us knives. When we asked for steak knives waiter told us they don't have steak knives (I almost found this impossible to believe). The pastries came. They were good - hard to ruin that. However, the coffee that was supposed to be served with pastries was no where to be found. They appeared significantly understaffed and this may have contributed to the negative experience, which is unfortunate. I didn't care for the music the DJ was playing but that was just my preference- he had the dance floor packed almost the whole night. The valet staff and coat check personnel did a fine job. I had my sweet 16 here. The owner gave false advertisement he made the place sound amazing.He said I would get floor fireworks,a special drink,floor fireworks for the father daughter dance. But in all actuality I didn't get any of that I had the waiters holding sparklers not floor fireworks. Don't get me started on the waiters there not catering at all they were lazy. They didn't refill your water one of them left for a break for the whole entire party. The waiters didn't fix the napkins nice it was just pushed in a cup. Now let's talk about the hall. I got the crystal room it's small and it had an old rug that smelled. When we went to set up the night before the party the owner had people rehearsing in the room that had fresh linens. When we asked him to move them to another room he was rude. It's so weird because the owner was now when he was selling the hall to us but after that he was such an asshole. read more

Went to Maestro for an event this past weekend. The 1 star is for the small yet intimate atmosphere. The four reasons Maestro lost 4 stars was because 1. The food was not great. 2. Staff took long to pick up used cups/plates-where I felt like bringing it to the kitchen myself! 3. They forgot to give some people cake! NUMBER FOUR Unprofessional staff! I must admit our party was full of beautiful women, but keep it professional! The men were standing around in groups just watching and commenting on people dancing. They were using their cellphones to take pictures of girls (who were 16 btw) AND when the mother, who was the host of the party for her 16yr old daughter walked by one of them, one of the staff (bald guy) took a picture of her behind!!!!! Our table was in shock! We did not tell the host to keep things happy-but NO NO MAESTRO! On that note we could also see through the reflection of the kitchen door, every time they left it open, how staff were busy dancing and having a party of their own in there. I wouldn't mind if they partied in the kitchen BUT PICK UP OUR THOUSAND dishes on the table N GIVE US CAKE FIRST!!! read more
