Maestro's Caterers is an amazing venue to hold your event. The place is beautiful and the staff is great. Starting from the owner, management, hostess, servers, restroom attendants, valets, porters, sous chefs and exec. chef. This is the place where my wedding took place on Friday 16th 2018. Bill and Vinny took care of every single detail of the wedding and made sure that everything me and my wife requested was delivered . They were very accommodating with the timeline and they also allowed us to have a rehearsal on the week of the wedding. On the other hand the head chef Bart did an amazing job getting his team together in the same page and making the food taste delicious and look amazing. The captain of the event was very attentive and he paid close attention to us and every single guest in the wedding. His attitude was passed to the servers which had a big smile in their face and they were serving with a very high class. Also the event designer of the venue Yoly did an amazing job with the decor and every single little detail of the wedding. She did a fabulous job. I recently had my wedding at Maestro's and all I can say is one word "EXCELLENT". The staff was amazing and attentive to every detail of the wedding party, guests and vendors. The food was spectacular. My guests are still inquiring on how the food was so good (reviews from some guests who are chefs). There was not one hungry person left at the end of the night. Overall Maestro's is a really nice venue, reasonably priced. The manager Vinnie, was friendly from the start, very accommodating, professional, and willing to work with us. My cousin held her wedding here, and I went with her to take a look at their rooms before she signed her contract. They spent a lot of time showing us around and answering all of our questions. The venue its self is very pretty, the outside is little outdated, but as far as reception halls go, it's pretty standard. It was clean and decorated well, the bathroom facilities were clean as well, and the bridal suites were spacious and clean. The food however, could have been a little better, it was edible but you can tell it was massed produced. Not the best tasting food but it certainly wasn't horrible. The food was ok, not any different than what you would find at other reception halls. When it came down to the event date, the staff was very friendly, accommodating, professional, and helpful. They assigned to her event a maitre d', who helped keep the entire event in order, provided everything we needed as far as extra tables for gifts and favors, helped with loaning us a cake stand, orchestrating her entrance, dinner service, and cake cutting. Very bad experience, went to Maestro for a Quinceañera, food was so terrible. Ordered steak ( medium rare ) but instead they served me what it seams like a piece of rubber well done steak and extremely cold. Our waitress..... she didn't have any clue on what she was doing there, ( we had 12 people sitting at our table ) she brought our food within 20 min. Or so apart. However, its clean and I did alot of research before booking it for my college graduation party and the price I got including open bar is unheard of. The food ranges from bland to good, with the Steak and Viennese displays as the standouts. They have chair sashes (chair covers are included) and napkins in every color. They upgraded my room, which was a good surprise and they set up my cake beautifully and I didn't even give them instructions on this. The decor is very "old-school" and the statues on the facade are kind of cheesey, but at the end of the day my guests enjoyed themselves, and so did I. read more

The food was great, but could have been a little warmer and the bar could have had more variety such as cognacs not sure if those might have been more. The cocktail hour was more like cocktail half hour (they cut the cocktail hour short) and a lot of guest were complaining that they did not get any H'oderves (they pinched on the H'oderves). It seems like a common theme with them because these are the same owners for Eastwood Manor and they did the same thing when I attended a wedding there. We didn't get what was promised in the contract agreement and on top of that they changed the event room at the last minute. So pissed! Because this messed up the seating chart. Wow just left the worst wedding I've ever attended. It's midnight and entrees just started being served. Definitely do not book for your wedding. All the ballrooms are next to one another and there's just one central room For crowd control, which doesn't work well. Servers were extremely slow and seemed like amateurs. Food was ok but jut really disorganized. Who offers pasta or soup for a 500 person wedding? Just offer one or the other. I went to a party here it wasn't too bad. The decorations are a little old fashion but not too bad. The food was ok. I was not happy with the bar. The line was huge the whole night. On Saturday March 18th, 2017, I threw my wonderful mother a Fabulous 50th Birthday Bash. It could not have come out more perfect and beautiful without the help of Maestros' staff, Vinny and Bill. Even from the very beginning, before we booked, everyone was friendly, helpful and understanding. There was a constant communication going on and they made everything we wanted come to life. We got to sample a bit of our buffet beforehand, which was delicious btw! The room was able to be set the day before which helped me out ALOT because I didn't have to decorate the day of. The wait staff were friendly, and kept everything clean. They also helped me with placing my balloons on my centerpieces last minute. The food was again, delicious.The bartender gave out wonderful drinks. They were even nice enough to hold all of our decorations for three days until we picked them up. On May 16,2017 we had a Graduation party celebration my daughter's success in achieving a Bachelors Degree. Maestro's Carters, management and employees did an excellent job in working with us to make our party the talk of the town. Place was clean, food was delicious. They bent over backward to make sure everything was ok. We had over one hundred gusts; we needed additional table and it was done in good spirit. The valet service was excellent. I agree with their slogan: "Maestro's Where tasteful creation begin". At the end of the party, they make available to us containers for gusts to take home food if they wish. Maestro's as a whole is simply dull. The entire interior speaks 80's-theme. The rugs inside the halls smell like dirt. The staff would walk around with what seemed to be annoyed faces, along with average service and the men's bathroom really needs some repair work. Their food is what really urks me the most. For the price that you would pay to cater your party here, you'd expect the standards to be slightly higher. The steak is bland and annoyingly chewy. The chicken tasted like somewhat plastic, and the fish, I would assume, its pre-cooked and refrigerated to be cooked again afterwards. The asparagus, baked potatoes and Coke tasted like tap water. Like, are we really going to be that cheap? You can hear the music from other halls which is not a big deal but it is kind of a no in my book. It's location strategy is tedious work. From a band standpoint, Maestro's is the place where you just want the gig to be over. The two girls at the front along with what seemed to be a manager did not want to open us the back door that is linked directly to our designated ballroom to unload our equipment because "hot air was going to go inside (66*F)." Then we were "assigned" where to place our loudspeakers because it would get in the way of people's path (200 headcount-hall). We were served LAST. We could not eat until all the guests ate. The party started at 8 and we were served at 11:30. At the end, we had to go all the way around the hall again to load the equipment. Overall, you're better off that: Villa Barone Manor (Throggs Neck) Bruno's (Astoria) Astoria Manor (Yup, you guessed it) I am not saying you'll be getting the 5-star ultimate experience with those, but it will definetely be much better than Maestro's. read more

I was at an event there this past weekend. Hors d'oeuvres were quite bland. Fruit salad was fruit salad. Not jumping for joy here. As someone else mentioned, the green salad that came next was quite earthy in taste. I don't know what kind of dressing describes non-existent flavor, but that is what it tasted like. They came next with the soup course. Some sort of chicken noodle soup. But I've seen better chicken noodle soup come out of a can of Campbell's. More like the chicken took a warm bath in clear water for about 5 minutes. Then the entrée, chicken leg and thigh stuff with wild rice, adorned with a mushroom sauce, and green beans. AND IT TASTED HORRIBLE!!! No seasoning could help this meal. Cardboard with a side of packing tape would have probably tasted the same if not better. I looked around at other people on the table and most had finished half or less than half. Finally, a huge white cake with something trying to be strawberry filling. Tasted very weird. I attended a wedding reception on Saturday February 29th. The set up was absolutely gorgeous after the ceremony. Once we got into the banquet hall for the reception again gorgeous. Then came the cocktail hour? The food passed was mediocre and cold. I really wanna start with the chicken! The grease was old that it was cooked in and you could smell it before it got to the table. It was burnt because the oil was NOT changed. People pay money for their guest and I think the least they can do is change the oil. I know EVERY party has chicken wings on their menu. All I'm saying is the oil needs to be changed after several batches. The Mac and cheese was trash. No seasoning no taste they used the worst cheese and cheapest. They boiled the noodles and out the cheese on top. All the food was horrible. They have to want to do better but from the reviews people let that part go because the overall experience is good. I attended a party here twice (Both for a sweet 16.) The first time was ok, but the staff was horrible. My second time here is where the fun begins. The stuff was even worst than the first time, completely unprofessional, they have no manners and no proper training. They walk around with attitudes. I was sitting at the main table and the cups were never bussed up, about 20 empty cups till the end of the night, the soda pitchers were only filled once. This is where it gets amazing, there was about 15 people over than paid for but the hostess didn't have the money to pay it that night after having to purchase many things that day for the party. The Owner told them no one will be eating till it is paid which is completely unprofessional, as a company you don't want to make that impression to 125 guest because you are money hungry, you have a contract with these people, make another one and have them pay the remaining balance in the next few days. If they chose not to pay then you take them to court, thats the proper way to do it. You don't go and ruin a child's night and not feed anyone. Party started at 7, no one ate till after 10:30 and the party ended at 12. This is not the place to have any party!! The wait staff is horrible, the owners truly don't care to make your night special. The waiters slammed plates during speeches, rolled eyes, singed and dance. We don't mind waiters singing and dancing if you do your job, but if you are not doing your job and partying, then something is wrong. If you want a party on the budget, go to Kismet Caters which is not to far from Maestros! Its amazing there. If you really want a memorable event, go to the Surf Club in New Rochelle!! Wait staff is amazing, the owners do everything they can to make your night special. Bottom line is Maestros is a business that should be shut down. I had my engagement party here on March 7th, 2015 and it was seriously a great party. From the food to the service and the ambiance in the Pavilion Room every thing was top notch. I have to say the reviews on yelp made me nervous, but all my anxiety was eased on my initial meeting with Vinny and Billy. They made sure all my needs were met before and during the party. We had a cocktail hour that was great, appetizers and drinks were being passed around as people were coming into the party. Then we had family style hot and cold antipasto served. There was no shortage of food as the pasta, salad and main course was served. The service was impeccable for not only me, but my guests as well. I got so many compliments on the food and service.
