They were the fourth shop for me to visit (Toyota dealer that refused to honor their own repair warranty, and 2 corporate), and the ONLY ones that didn't mislead me. I would highly recommend this business if professionalism and ethics are important to you, Plus my vehicle looked to have been detailed, at least until my dog got in a few minutes later.

When I entered the office I was greeted by the very professional office manager. She notified Justin, the owner, that I was there for a quote and she offered me a selection of beverages while I waited for him to finish a call. The shop is very spacious and clean both in the work area and the waiting area. Both of the ladies in the office were seamlessly juggling several tasks at once from onboarding some new hires, getting quotes for third party window repairs on cars they were working on, and greeting new customers. I explained my situation to Justin when he came out and the short timeframe that I was working within. He thoroughly explained what he could do with the dent in order to prepare it for the lease return while keeping my costs low. The price was extremely reasonable compared to another quote I had gotten and he offered to do the work while I waited. Even though his shop was pretty full he worked my vehicle in and had the dent worked out in less than 45 minutes with much better results than I expected! I highly recommend this business and will most definitely use them for any future body repairs that I have. Excellent customer service and great pricing!

Top-Notch Service & Honest Work!…read more Brought my Tesla Performance here for a blackout badge install, and I couldn't be happier. When they removed the old logo, there was some tough factory glue left behind. Instead of risking damage by trying to chisel it off, they took the cautious approach and installed the new badge around it--showing real attention to detail. What really impressed me was their honesty--they didn't charge me for the work as a courtesy. That kind of integrity is rare! I'll definitely be bringing my other Teslas here and recommending them to anyone looking for quality work. 10/10--these guys are perfectionists!

This is going to be long, but if you're considering taking your vehicle here, you should read it…read more I'm being detailed because I genuinely hope it prevents someone else from going through what I did. Thankfully, I also work for many law firms that deal with car wrecks so they know where NOT to send their clients. I've taken my car to this shop for three separate accidents over the years. The first two were mostly body damage repairs and I had no major issues. The third accident, a front-end collision in September 2025, turned into an absolute nightmare. Between September 2025 and May 2026, I had to bring my car back FIVE separate times for the exact same unresolved issues. Eventually, I gave up and took my car elsewhere because Magic Touch still had not properly repaired it and almost caused my insurance company to total the vehicle until I canceled the claim to avoid that. The biggest issue involved my AC system. I repeatedly told them something was still wrong, but instead of actually finding the leak, they kept refilling the refrigerant and sending me on my way. Because of that negligence, my compressor eventually failed and the casing cracked -- despite the compressor only being a little over a year old. Out of those five return visits, they reimbursed my rental car twice after I complained about continuously paying out of pocket because I don't have another vehicle. One visit, they even handed me Visa gift cards after again failing to fix the issue. It honestly felt less like customer service and more like, "We're tired of dealing with you." I also have recordings from my last drop-off. In one, the owner, Brody, points at my car and asks, "What's up with that?" When another employee says, "The AC is having problems again," Brody responds, "Nah, f**k that," while complaining about my car being back again. Maybe if the issue had been fixed the first time, it wouldn't have kept coming back. Every time I returned, I was treated more like an inconvenience than a customer simply asking them to fix the same unresolved problem. Eventually, they had to involve the shop across the street because they couldn't figure it out themselves. One employee texted me the quote from that shop, then later sent me (after I asked the next day) another estimate that was literally DOUBLE what they had originally been told, because "if they denied it then they still had room to cover repairs" is what the text message from the shop said -- and that inflated estimate had already been sent to the insurance company. When the insurance company later contacted me to say they were considering totaling my car, I sent them all the text messages, recordings, and estimates I had received. The adjuster literally told me they were confused because insurance had ended up covering damage that the shop itself may have contributed to through negligence by failing to locate the leak when I originally reported it. The adjuster even used the words "insurance fraud" -- not me. At that point, I took my car elsewhere to a shop that has done major repairs for me before. I'm now paying around $3,400 out of pocket just to finally have my vehicle repaired correctly. To make things even worse, the new shop discovered that Magic Touch had replaced my radiator after the wreck and apparently NEVER added coolant. I brought my car there six total times, including immediately after the accident, and somehow nobody noticed the coolant reservoir was empty? That repair is now being added to my bill along with an expansion valve replacement. You can call me a liar if you want, but I have endless text messages, recordings, invoices, and documentation to back up every single thing I'm saying. The unfortunate reality is that they seem friendly until they no longer want to deal with your vehicle. Once that happens, you absolutely feel it. The ONLY reason this review is getting two stars instead of one is because the body work itself looked decent.

Took my car here to have the exterior worked on for hail damage and ended up with almost more $ in…read moredamage than what I brought it to the shop with. They put a big scratch on my touch screen that spans 3+ inches, which is about $5k to replace through Subaru, as well as caused damage to the upper console in my car. When I spoke with the general manager, Steve, in person he said he would be calling the owner to discuss a resolution "as soon as possible". (This was on Tuesday 11/5) After two weeks of no response, I reached out to let them know the damage was still there and that I hadn't heard anything and would be leaving a review detailing my experience. Steve then decided it was suddenly important to address the issue, two weeks after he promised to do so the first time. After some back and forth, and providing images and videos of the damage to the screen and upper console (which Steve admitted to causing the damage to and claimed he was ordering the parts for), I was not satisfied with his "effort" to make good on his promises of making me whole, as he claimed there was no way they could've damaged my screen despite admitting to causing damage to the part directly above it. They charged my insurance $6k for minor hail damage, kept my car for over a month, didn't fix all of the damage caused by the hail, caused more damage to the interior, and then had the nerve to say he was "done responding" because I said he has no integrity. When you look a man in the eyes, make a commitment, and shake his hand then back out of all of those promises, that shows a lack of integrity and shady business practices, in my opinion. There were also pieces of trim laying in my backseat when I went to pick the car up, even though they had finished working on it a few days prior to me picking it up (I was out of town). Steve acted like it was no big deal and just snapped the trim back into place right in front of me, after claiming that it was "the old broken piece of trim" and that it wasn't "something they forgot". This was the first major red flag, and I noticed the rest of the damage AND reported it within an hour of picking up the car. If the owner of the body shop is reading this review, your general manager is trying to sweep this under the rug and is refusing to let me speak with you. Steve / DFW Metro Dent have brushed off my concerns and as soon as they got the check from my insurance, the promises went out the window, along with the sense of urgency and communication. Please reach out to me directly, as Steve is refusing to even discuss this further because "I insulted him" by pointing out a lack of quality control and integrity in the shop he manages and oversees. I have screenshots of all of our conversations, as well as him claiming he ordered the parts and then going back on that as well after I said I'd prefer to take it to Subaru and have it properly repaired. I will gladly provide them to the owner, and have already sent everything to my insurance to begin the process of recouping damages and diminished value for my vehicle. I believe in second chances, so I will update this review if any other good faith attempts are made to make me whole. What could've been a learning experience for the shop's employees to not be so careless when touching a customer's car, has now turned into this. They worked on the inside of my car without telling me or asking permission, left pieces of trim off, caused damage to the very expensive screen that I've never touched with anything but my fingers, and lied to me multiple times about the steps they were taking to reach a resolution. I can't honestly recommend DFW Metro Dent to anyone after the horrible treatment I've received from them. I would make this a one star review, but they did a decent job on the hail damage that was repaired, and Yelp has a habit of unfairly removing honest 1 star reviews.
