Very dense pineapple bun. Very sad
    Katie N.

I really wanted to like this bakery and have been here twice. This will be the last. I literally found a mini fly cooked on the top of the pineapple bun. See photograph. At first I thought maybe it was a burnt crumb or dark sesame. It definitely has antennas and legs. Despite the dead cooked bug on my pineapple bun, I cut open another pineapple bun and realized how dense and dry it was in the center. It had no filling and unlike other buns I've had everywhere else, it's supposed to be light and airey, not hard like dry bread. I was very disappointed. The bbq pork bun center was also not centered as a big chunk of dry bread was in the center and the filling off to the side. The bbq pork tasted dry with a lot of fatty pieces and was dyed with a very bright red food coloring. The prices for the buns were over $3 and tasted very dry and unappetizing. Overall, this was my second visit, hoping the first was a fluke but the second with the dead fly on top was a deal breaker. The older lady who helped me the first time was very sweet. The older gentleman who helped me the second time was also very nice. I like to support local business but common. Please do some quality control on your baked goods before selling it. This dead fly cooked on top of the bun was a poor decision of either being lazy or hoping someone would not catch it.

Came across this place on yelp and had to try it the next time I came around. Oh man, I was not disappointed. The hom bows are delicious. They are the better ones that I've had around the area. It's roughly $4 a bun, not a bad price nowadays with inflation. The inside of the bread is fluffy soft and then had the slight crunch from the outer part, it was made well. It would be great if they added more filling but the filling had a great taste of chunks of meat. My boyfriend ordered the pineapple bread and it had a sweet top coating, no filling.

Amazing Hum Bow!!!!! If ya have a moment and you are a bit hungry, stop by and try a him bow. If you've had it before, you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't, your in for a great meal. The barbecue pork on a stick is the best around as well. The worst part is selecting which hum now and how much barbecue pork on a stick! Nuff said!

Wow, who would've thought you could get delicious and authentic Chinese bakery goods from an outdated mall? I've actually never step foot inside this place, but I am lucky enough to get showered in BBQ pork buns at least once a month. Their BBQ pork buns are amazing. I prefer the baked ones over the steamed ones. The baked buns are soft and pillowy and they're filled up with just enough bbq pork. The bbq pork filling isn't too sweet either, which is something I am very critical about. I am also a huge fan of the curried beef buns. It's really unique in that it's both sweet and savory. And again, just the right amount of filling! No need to drive to Chinatown in Seattle for baked goods when you can just come here. Just an FYI, due to covid their hours are currently 11am-7pm.

I have eaten baked BQ Hum Bow all around the country; and I just like there's the best!

Bakery display case of good eats!

Awesome menu, lots of my favorites! And steamed HomBow! Like we used to get growing up in Hawaii, it's called Manapua there. Support local, be safe, say kind words and Mask UP!

Last time I got their, the lady was so bitchy to me and I came back this time with hope. This time, I went with shrimps yakisoba for $13 and they gave me tons of noodles and only 4 shrimps. Never comeback!

I like their BBQ pork and pineapple skewers. The price is a little steep for $4 though.

Pretty good just skip the Wife cake and coconut filled bun which was way too mushy. Pork buns good. Red bean filled balls very good.

The food is still top notch and the service is speedy. But the restaurant is now very warm. The floors are really slippery so be careful, but it's a nice fast paced Chinese restaurant you can get dim sum instead of the normal yum cha times of seattle Chinatown. If you want really good Chinese food at breakneck speeds, want to feel like you're at your Chinese ma's house as she's yelling at the kids in the background, this is it! We even had a loud Chinese conversation that I had to tell my husband "shes not angry, just very busy and trying to get orders out". The only annoying thing is their uber eats notification is consistently on fire. Dinged enough to notice it through the entire meal.

I have been here multiple times - take out orders, uber eats, group gatherings, even by myself. Each time I have been so happy with the food and the taste! It is hard to find good quality Chinese food and this place hits the spot. The service can be better but to me, that's not what I can for and actually adds to the ambience hehe! Good eats and will def come here over and over again.

I was impressed with the casual atmosphere and cleanliness. The process is simple, scan the QR code on the table. Scroll through the menu and add the items you want. Then send it. You can keep ordering but be careful the food is very good and you can easily over order. But hey! If you want Dim Sum over ordering is usually never a problem . Service is quick and attentive. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Ordering through the QR code was simple and the food came out quickly. Most dishes were delicious, though a few dim sum items were slightly over steamed - the wrappers were very soft and stuck to the parchment paper. Several of us also tried different ramens, which had a rich broth and thick pieces of char siu. The portion size made it a great value. Prices felt fair for the quality and service. I do wish the large tables has a lazy Susan to make sharing dishes easier. Overall, I'd come back, but it's not necessarily a top pick if you're looking for standout dim sum and ramen.

If you read my reviews, you will know that I am quite particular and very critical of the food…read morescene around king county. Tonight, it was my turn to "cook" for the family and I wanted something a step above fast food and the usual sandwich shops/chipotle/ezells/tacos/pollo loco/chicfilet/dicks/BWW just didn't catch my interest. A quick ChatGPT search recommended teriyaki and that actually sounded good. Turned to yelp for some good options as I was heading home and boom! International teriyaki house was the winner, especially since it was on my way home. It's a no frills, hole in the wall restaurant behind that old jack in the box that's been under construction for years. I ordered 2 spicy chicken and regular chicken. Total damage was $49 after tax and excluding tip, which is about $16 per order. It is a bit pricier than what I expected but I will say that was some of the best spicy chicken teriyaki I have EVER had. The regular chicken teriyaki was decent and the rice and side salad and dressing were average of course. I will definitely return for some more of that spicy chicken and maybe I'll try the beef teriyaki next time as well and see if they have any special sauce too

Bald dude comes out saying he has no hair but there are two people back there who are working and the other guy was scared to come out. Food is good but 70$ (without tip) for 2 fried rice and a teriyaki is robbery. I mean come on. At least have the diner look good. Tables are sticky and the teriyaki sauce is chunky like it's been sitting for weeks. I am only giving 3 stars because food is great but quality of the place and the hair in the food got me scarred. These are all fixable things. If they do decide to fix them. I promise. This would be one of the best teriyaki spots if not thee best. I would also like to add that my favorite item is the General Tso with fried rice, and add some salad dressing and teriyaki sauce into it. And woaah you got a party in your mouth!! Have a good day. Hope they fix things. !
