Worst restaurant I've been to in a while. Stopped by here and wasn't even greeted. I stood here for at least 15 minutes before being acknowledged and when they finally started doing their jobs and addressed me, they were very rude. Food was very dry, tasteless and bland. Overpriced considering lack of quality. Wouldn't be surprised if I or anyone gets food poisoning. Disgusting. The restaurant itself was messy. Came for lunch but was pretty disappointed! Portions and pricing are decent but not worth the visit. Especially after what I saw... Wouldn't come again! Saturday, 1/18/2025, 1:30 pm. This review is based on the food we got. Food: The lamb curry and rice were amazing; I go here often for this curry. We also ordered one beef and one chicken meat pie, one scone, one Nutella German bun and one coconut German bun. The baked goods were mouthwatering and flavorful. They appear to have improved since my last visit. I really appreciated their commitment to serving food with a consistent taste. Furthermore, they offer a range of other options, including traditional Samoan comfort foods that are fulfilling and satisfying. Now I can't speak for the other dishes though. You are welcome to come taste, sample them and tell us about it. The other dishes seem appetizing, but they're too rich for me. I'm trying to be healthy, but these goodies are so irresistible to pass up when I'm in this area. I just want to try one bite of everything. Service: OUTSTANDING as always! Very attentive and courteous. They are very helpful in meeting the needs of their customers. Ambiance: Family-friendly environment. You're in and out of there quickly enough. Everything seems clean and in compliance with food safety requirements. Food is stored in warmers with covers. Small space, enough room to form one line as you go through. No seating available. It's a pick-up and go-to enjoy your food in the car or at home. I suggest not bringing to many people with you inside. Go thru the menu online and preselect your order before you go in. They offer typical Samoan traditional food. Prices are a bit pricey but that's common everywhere. If you want to save money, cook your own food, it's either save your money or save your time. On the plus side, the location is great, with plenty of parking, easy access to the I-5 freeway and PAC Hwy, and a central location between Seattle and Tacoma. I do love my Samoan food! I grew up in American Samoa going to Steven &Sons store and so was super happy when I learned they opened up a shop in WA. It's located in Fife and it's definitely been worth the drive from Tukwila. It's literally located off exit 137 (south bound) and in the same lot as the dollar store so there is plenty of parking. I mainly go there for the baked goods. My personal favorites are their German buns - jelly and coconut! My mom loves the coconut (Pani Pegu) so I always try to get her a dozen. They've got really great banana bread too that I just tried today. I really like the chicken pies. If you prefer the pies from Australian pie co located in Burien then you may not like it, but I like that there is enough crust to go with the rich chicken filling. Service is super friendly and there's always someone available to help you carry your food out if you need help. I went in for the first (and last) time!! I bought a little bit of EVERYTHING off of the menu...it broke the bank, of course, because they are HIGHLY overpriced, but I thought that the food might have been worth it... but unbeknownst to me, it was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! All of the foods had little-to-no flavor, the lamb mamoe was filled with a mouthful of bones that could have lodged in my throat and killed me on the spot!!! I suggest to save your money and find a decent place that can give you more bang for your buck -- and tastebuds...this was ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS and what an embarrassment to the Samoan community!!!! This store is in a great location and it's simply right off the freeway. The hardest part about coming here is picking out what you want to eat. The chicken pies are a hit and personally my favorite. The German buns are just as amazing. Be sure to get both Jelly and Coconut because they can run out fast. The best times to get these baked goods are in the morning. Staff are super nice and friendly and they will help you carried any addition food to your car. read more

I stopped at this unpretentious (read sketchy) strip mall to meet up with a friend to carpool North. Jonesing for a malted, I walked into the Poodle Dog and was quite disappointed that they do not have them (50s diner, go figure). However, I looked over and saw Samoan food from Stevens and Sons and had to try. OMG, same as in Pago Pago! The oka was delicious. The corned beef was salty (yes, I know it is supposed to be). I think they forgot my rice. The palu sami was tasty, no meat inside. A bit of sticker shock at the front: $28 for one plate, but I did order oka, but again, forgot rice. I cannot speak to the pastries because I had to abstain. The people were sooooo nice! We talked about Samoa a bit. Overall, wonderful and easily the best Samoan food I have had outside of Samoa. read more

To be honest this place is way over priced smh.. I don't get while it cost me $21.50 for side of lambs and rice. The lamb had way to much fat and soaked in so much joy sauce or sweet sauce that I couldn't taste the lamb itself. The rice was so much that I couldn't even finish it. The way they price the food is unfair, they should price the food by what you get and not how much it weight. Honestly don't see myself coming back. They did have good customer service tho....... Oh my word their meat pies absolutely SENT me. The crust was flaky perfection, the fillings were generous and incredibly flavored, and the whole thing was perfect for a lunch on the go. Perfect for hiking or just to treat yourself. I got both beef and chicken and both were incredible. I think I preferred the beef but I generally like beef more than chicken so I'd say get whichever, you'll be happy. Also got the pineapple pie for dessert and it was excellent - flavorful and creamy and not too tart. Someday I'll try some of their other offerings since everything smelled amazing but for now those meat pies are enough. Will definitely be back. read more

Omgggg we were in WA visiting for a few days. We were sooooo anxious to come here and try out the food. We walk through the door and the hospitality was just EVERYTHING to us!!! The food was soooooo good that we went back before we departed back to CA but we made sure we got to taste a little bit of everything. Picked up some pies and German buns last weekend and still very expensive. The pineapple pies were ok, the crust crumbled easily so it made it hard to eat without making a mess.
