Great coaches focused on developing tool notch players and people. Our son has grown tremendously during his time with Madlax.

PJ'S was awesome! I have to admit that I'm usually guilty of buying all of our sporting equipment…read moreonline, only because it's convenient. But my daughter needed new soccer cleats because her feet have been hurting, as well as some shorts that are part of her club's soccer uniform. PJ'S carries the shorts so we made a trip over there. The staff was all SO helpful! They went above and beyond to help my shy daughter with her cleats. First they suggested that for her foot pain, we may not need to spend money on new cleats after all- they thought she would find relief from a somewhat inexpensive pair of heel cups. It was so nice of them to be so honest when I was ready with my wallet open! . I decided to buy the heel cups and new cleats because her cleats are a little old. She had trouble finding some that fit and they must have brought her 20 pairs to try on, to make sure she found some that fit comfortably and perfectly. They were so kind and so patient! It looks like there won't be anymore online soccer purchases for me. We'll be back, PJ's!

Extremely disappointing experience with Dick's Sporting Goods…read more I recently had knee surgery and was unable to leave my house or drive for an extended period of time. I am a volleyball coach and regularly tell all of my players to shop at Dick's Sporting Goods. My husband is also a basketball coach and recommends Dick's to his players as well, so our family has spent a significant amount of money with this company over the years. I had purchased knee pads in both a medium and a small. My daughter tried on the medium, which fit, and never even tried on the small. I was still within the 90-day return period and simply wanted to exchange the unused, brand-new small pair for a different size. Because of my surgery, I could not drive until my doctor medically cleared me. The closest Dick's Sporting Goods is an hour away, so once I was finally able to drive, I made the long trip and spent a considerable amount of money on gas just to make this return. Not only did they refuse to exchange an unused item that was still within the 90-day period, but the manager was extremely condescending and rude about it. I was not asking for a refund or trying to return something used. I simply wanted to exchange an unused pair of knee pads for the correct size. After years of recommending Dick's Sporting Goods to my athletes and spending money there myself, this experience has seriously changed my opinion of the company. The policy may be the policy, but the way this situation was handled, especially by the manager, was completely unacceptable. Customer service and common sense should matter, particularly when a customer is making a reasonable request under unusual circumstances.

Great selection, always well stocked but I must admit the prices can be steep!…read more You can pretty much find all things sports, outdoor, hiking, and fishing gear all under one roof. I remember years ago that they used to sell even camping equipment and items like hunting gear but it looks like they no longer carry such items based on my visit today. Nevertheless.....In all, a legit a legitimate sporting goods retailer with a wide selection of top-brand athletic gear. The store ioffers wide selection of popular brands, including Nike, Adidas, and North Face, as well as their own private-label brand, DSG. I did score on a pair of running shoes that were on sale and a decent price but decided to put my workout gear back as to. I know I can find better prices online. Price point set aside, I appreciate the variety of products and at least knowing there is a solid sporting good s store in the area. You can't go wrong here, searching for miscellaneous, sporting goods items. The staff here are very helpful with answering questions, locating items, and helping you navigate the store.

Yet products are great and will sell itself.I like the material and ease of wear of the yoga pants and hiking/travel pants I got. In fact, i used to buy Vuori at Nordstrom but better selection at this new boutique shop and thought of a more focused shopping... Pricey but worth it! Allows your body to breath and comfortable movements. I prefer it just slightly better than Lululemon or comparably with Alo! Probably will buy online more than in person...my total was $351 and my sister about $300 as well. After the fit finder evaluation / thorough consultation (with Ria), I decided to mold a pair of $99 R-GEAR custom insoles (supreme arch support, maximum shock absorption), test them out (in-store), and bring them home. My FSA card didn't work at the register. When I walked in, there was no one at the front desk. I had to look for an employee, and when I finally found one, I told her it was my first time and that I was looking for running shoes. She asked if it was my first time shopping there, and when I said yes, she told me she couldn't sell me anything unless I was buying more than one item. I even mentioned that I was considering getting two pairs of shoes, but she still refused to let me try anything on. She said I needed to get them "adjusted" or that I had to know my exact size first and she never showed me a single pair of shoes. I felt completely dismissed and discriminated against, as if she assumed I wasn't worth helping. She even told me that I'd be better off shopping online, which made no sense if I wanted to shop online, I'd have bought better brands elsewhere. I went to the store because I wanted to try the shoes on and choose the best fit. But she had zero interest in helping me and made it clear she didn't want to assist me at all. I want to be clear: I'm not writing this review to get free products or attention. I just want to express how disappointing it was to be treated this way. A store that focuses on customer interaction should offer better service. If your job is to sell, at least do it professionally and respectfully.

Parking is very easy and ample in their parking garage. The whole place feels new and very clean. In the few interactions I had with floor associates, some didn't speak enough English to help me. I just found another associate and was able to solve my issue so it was fine. The other patrons have been the most normal/decently behaved that I've seen for a Walmart. Everything seems to be stocked decently well, and it is a easy shopping experience.

Today I visited for the first time the Walmart Supercenter located near the Tysons complex of…read moremalls and mixed use (although I believe this is technically Vienna, VA). For those who are not familiar with this area, or with this particular Walmart Supercenter, here is a brief history and description: This store is located at 1500 B Cornerside Blvd, Vienna, VA 22182, and it is huge. It is the flagship retail anchor of the Tysons West commercial complex, a mixed-use development situated near the new Silver Line Spring Hill Metro station. Apparently, the facility was completed in 2013, and the store officially opened its doors on August 14, 2013. This location is designed with an urban-style layout to fit the high-density Tysons/Vienna area. This Walmart typically operates from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, though specific departments may have shorter hours. Since everyone is more or less acquainted with Walmart, I want to focus this review on a new line of higher-end products that can now be found (with degrees of success) at Walmart stores. I want to bring these products to the Yelp readers' attention because the products are surprisingly (and consistently) of high quality, also delicious, and most importantly, affordable! Bettergoods is probably Walmart's most significant private-label food launch in over 20 years. It was introduced in April 2024 to provide a more "elevated" and "chef-inspired" culinary experience at an accessible price point. According to Walmart, the Bettergoods line features approximately 300 products (they are adding more products on a regular basis) that categorized into three concepts: "Culinary Experiences" (innovative flavors like hot honey seasoning and bronze-cut pasta); "Plant-Based" (including oat milk frozen desserts and dairy-free cheeses), and "Made Without" (items catering to specific dietary needs like gluten-free or no added sugar). By offering trendy, gourmet-style items--most priced under $5--I think that Walmart aims to compete with premium retailers while maintaining its reputation for high value. The products are scattered throughout the store since some are shelf-stable (dressings, sauces, snacks, etc) while other are refrigerated (yogurt) and many are frozen (pastries, entrees, hors d'œuvres, etc). I have tasted all of the products included in my photographs, and they are indeed of high quality. Some are imported (like the berry tarts or the cheesy potato tots), others are probably private-labeled for Walmart. I encourage you to try these, and I think you may not be dissapointed! Of course, this is Walmart, so this store was very crowded and hectic. However, I was pleasantly surprised about the availability of parking (which was free when I went on a Sunday; otherwise, you get 2 courtesy hours) and how spacious were the elevators, which opened right inside the store.
