So after my last dry cleaning experience I wanted to find a new dry cleaners. I of course went to…read moreyelp and looked through the reviews to see which I wanted to try. While there were a few that seemed worth trying, Sun Ray Dry Cleaning did stand out and I figured I would try this place. I ran over one afternoon to drop off a brand new suit jack. The person who meet me was Simon who was a very nice younger guy that just was a pleasure to talk to. I told him the stain was either had a lamb or olive oil and that I didn't exactly what it was. The stain happened at a wedding and to be honest I think someone bumped into me which was why I didn't know exactly what it was and I think the methods change depending on what the stain is. The stain was pretty large, and I was worried that it was to late. He said they would try their best and they might be able to get it out. A few days later I got a text that my garment was ready and when I picked it up, the stain was completely gone. He said they did have to treat it several times but they got it completely out. I couldn't be happier. They will have my business for the foreseeable future as this was such a great experience and I have been looking for a good dry cleaner for a while now. As a side note, you do pay for your garment when you drop it off. Something that I haven't really done before but it isn't a bother. Just if you pay cash that might be good to know.

Eco Green Cleaner - Hole caused by safety pins, there is 2 holes in the belt line now. The pants are satin.

I brought in a pair of satin pants to be hemmed for an all-white event. When I dropped them off,…read morethe male owner was very kind and professional. He was honest that the alteration might be difficult, asked me to send a photo of the original pants from Amazon so they could see how they were designed, and even pinned the length while explaining that if they couldn't do the alteration properly, they would let me know. I really appreciated his honesty and communication. My father-in-law was a tailor before he retired, so I understand the skill that goes into quality alterations. That's why I explained that I simply wanted the new hem to follow the original angled hemline rather than be cut straight across, preserving the shape of the pants. Unfortunately, my experience with the female owner, who performed the alterations, was much different. When I stopped by a couple of days later because I hadn't received the promised phone call, my pants were still sitting off to the side. As I explained again how I wanted the hem done, she repeatedly said it was "very difficult" over and over again. I told her several times that if she wasn't comfortable doing it, that was completely okay--I would rather hear "no" than have the pants altered incorrectly. She eventually agreed to do them but continued to emphasize how difficult they were. She kept repeating do not complain when it is done, do not complain. I told her I will if it's not done correctly. She also asked me to pay before the work was completed, which I politely declined. When I picked up the pants, the alteration itself was excellent. The hem was exactly what I had asked for, and I genuinely appreciate the quality of the workmanship. However, the pants had been attached to the hanger with safety pins, which left tiny holes in the satin fabric. I told her look you put holes in it. She just brushed me off. After I paid, I asked a quick question about pricing for future alterations, but I was she brushed me off because she was taking a personal phone call. As bad as her customer service was I was willing to ignore it for future alterations but after the brushing off, that put the icing on the cake for me. The quality of the tailoring deserves recognition, and I would never take that away from them. Unfortunately, the customer service from the female owner did not match the quality of the work. I hope the customer experience improves because the craftsmanship is definitely there.
