KBF designed and installed (with their contractor Rafal) our condo's new kitchen and we love it!…read more When we recently downsized from a single family house to condo we realized the new space couldn't accommodate our stuff. David at KBF miraculously created a new design which (more than) doubled our storage within the existing footprint! In addition the condo's worn (and cheap) cabinets, wallcoverings and countertop were upgraded to beautiful, top-quality, products which will last us many years. Finally, KBF (and their contractor) easily navigated the maze of regulations and procedures required in our large building. Their skill, craftsmanship and professionalism were exemplary. THANK YOU!

Their service is excellent from the designer to the contractors that put everything together. We liked that they kept us to our budget and that their promised timeline was met with a few days to spare. This was important to us since we wanted to go into our holiday season with this upgrade. Their website is transparent. You get a free in home visit and then a rough quote. Once we'd made decisions on products and accessories we were given a full detailed quote. Communication is so important to us and K&B excelled in this area. We sought out other quotes and looked at recent kitchen renovations from their competitors. No one came close to their quality, commitment to excellent service and communication. Check out our before and after photos.

1 Star -- Very Disappointing Warranty Service…read more We hired Bray & Scarff approximately three years ago for a major kitchen remodel, including purchasing cabinets that were advertised as having a lifetime warranty. Over a month ago, I contacted Bray & Scarff because the rollout trays for the cabinet containing our trash baskets were no longer functioning properly. It took more than two weeks just to get someone to respond. When they finally did, we were told that their warranty department would contact us to verify the claim. Nearly another month has passed, and we have heard nothing. During that time, I have contacted Bray & Scarff several times trying to get an update or simply get someone to address the warranty claim, with no success. What is particularly disappointing is that this isn't a complicated issue. We made a substantial investment in a Bray & Scarff kitchen and purchased cabinets that were represented as carrying a lifetime warranty. A warranty has very little value if a customer can't get the company to respond when it's time to honor it. We gave Bray & Scarff multiple opportunities to resolve this directly before posting this review. At this point, after weeks of delays, repeated attempts to follow up, and no resolution, I think prospective customers should be aware of our experience--particularly anyone considering purchasing cabinetry based in part on the advertised warranty. I would be happy to update this review if Bray & Scarff contacts us and promptly honors the warranty.

Shortly after I left the store, Nabell called me to accuse my young child of stealing her phone. I told her she was mistaken and wished her luck. Nabell then filed a police report alleging my elementary school aged child stole her phone. When the police contacted me I asked them to locate the phone with "find my phone". The police officer said he was required to speak to my child in person and came to my home. My son was terrified and traumatized. 30 minutes later Nabell found her phone in the store. This irresponsible, heartless woman lost her own phone, never set up "find my phone" and blamed it on an innocent child. Her behavior is abhorrent. Everyone should steer clear of her.

We used KDC to renovate our Kitchen, Master Bathroom, and fix some other issues around the house that involved tiling, plumbing, drywall, etc. We first started with KDC on the kitchen, where we had them install all new countertops, and replace our cabinets, basically a whole kitchen renovation. They handled everything and had people for plumbing, tiling, painting, electrical. Everything was handled for us with minimal involvement other than picking out materials. It was one of the easiest experiences where we picked out what we wanted in their showroom and had their project manager coming to the house to review progress on a consistent basis. With how smoothly the kitchen went, we had KDC fix our guest bathroom where things went just as smooth, and then do a whole renovation of the master bathroom. Similarly, we picked out all of the materials in their showroom and the results were amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is very detailed, with new cabinets, tiling, moving different fixtures to new locations, and installation of everything flawlessly. They even alerted us to a cheaper countertop option that still met our needs. All in all, it seems like KDC worked on half the house and did some in a timely and expert way. We've recommended them to friends and happy to do so for others. It was refreshing trusting someone to do a great job with minimal supervision and we're thrilled with the results.

They did an absolutely incredible job on our bathroom remodel, and the quality was worth every penny. Lawrence and his crew were fantastic from demo day to the final finishing touches. Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. I give them my highest recommendation!

There are tons of design options out there and I can easily spend multiple days just trying to pick out a single piece of furniture, let alone trying to make it look good and work with an entire room, so Colleen's services are invaluable. NV did not come close to delivering on the terms of the contract and what they did complete had to be redone to pass inspection, as well as to make our house safe.
