They replaced the A/C blower motor and a blower motor resistor in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 1,000.00. The blower motor makes noise. The owner said they are going to make noise. He probably put a $49.99 blower motor in my Jeep. You cannot find any car repair center that will not rip you off. It's in the genes. By the way, they give a discount for cash. You know they are not paying taxes on that cash income. Enjoy the $750.00 to $800.00 profit you made off of me. I will never be back to your store. read more

got my car towed over there for them to tell me they cranked the car up and said the engine didnt sound good and spent "30 minutes+ " to look at the car even though they heard how it sounded and knew it needed a new engine by just cranking it up .. mind you we already new that and they already knew that as well we just wanted them to confirm that was the issue. and now having to spend almost $200 for a "30 minute" process and to top it off we were talking to the store manager or store owner and he said he will not be giving us a discount or anything because of false information that was put out and he was definitely and completely rude about it all.. will not be going back or referring anybody over here ! read more

very bad experience. they tried to the very end to get me to hand in my title. i towed my honda pilot to MADISON AUTOMOTIVE, the guy said hell get a diagnostic test done tommorrow bc the shop was closing so i left my car there told me that theyll give me a call when he takes a look at it. ONE i never got a call so i had to call them. when i called they said my car was trash. they said i needed to replace the motor and that i would cost me around 7k-9k. Online it says around 2-4 k for a new motor. TWO the guy said he can take care of the junking that i could get 200 for junking it. but that he needed the title, THREE i had to pay 280 for diagnostic test. ENDED up taking the car to another autoshop to get a second opinion, the car got fixed for 400$. DO NOT GO HERE BEFORE GETTING A FIRST OPINION. BEWARE!!!! read more

I took my car here because it has a coolant leak. First I went to Harding Auto (highly recommend over this place!) - they looked at my car (for no charge) and gave me an honest appraisal for the cost to fix it. Then we have Madison Automotive! They called me and said my gasket was damaged and that I'd have to buy a new motor with 98k miles on it for $6700. On a car that already has 210k miles! Like man how dumb do you think I am? He proceeded to feed me some nonsense explanation on how urgent it was that I replace the motor. Lo and behold, after talking to some other car guys, they told me how to check to see if the gasket was actually damaged, or if it was just a busted water pump. We determined that the gasket is actually not damaged. They just straight-up lied to me. And the best part! When I went to pick up my car, they charged me $145 just to look at it. So not only did they lie to me and try to scam me, but they still squeezed $145 without mentioning that beforehand. This kind of business practice should be illegal. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

Worst Place to take your car in for any service. I took my wifes car in for new control arms and for them to diagnose a rattle coming from underneath the car that was very loud and prevalent. It took them way to long to find out the problem. It turned out to be a bad 4 wheel drive shaft. They replaced it as instructed but it immediately after picking the car up had a terrible shake. Jason drove it again, but said that it was not because of him. He would not even look at what his shop may have done and wanted to blame a tire shop because i had gotten near tires a few weeks earlier. I then took it to another shop and it turned out to be another bad 4 wheel drive shaft, that Madison automotive installed and i had to pay for the same fix twice in a matter of a week. As well, a few months later the cars anti lock brakes stop working and the brakes system failed entirely, because when they replaced the front control arms, they left the wheel speed sensors hanging and rubbing against the wheel hub, which over time ruined them and caused the brake system to fail read more

I had a issue with my Chevy Lumina. They guys at the auto parts store sold me coil packs, plugs, plug wires and nothing worked. I had it towed to Madison Automotive, the mechanic Jason called me 30 minutes after it arrived and said come pick it up, it's fixed. He replaced a $14 sensor and charged me for 1/2 hour labor and it was fixed. I've put almost 300,000 miles on this car since I bought it new and thought this was the end. Thank you guys!! read more

Jason, at Madison Automotive misdiagnosed my car trouble and it cost me 1955.00 dollars over 3 days! He refuses to take responsibility and states it was 'just a coincidence' that my car would not start the NEXT MORNING! On Wednesday 9/27/17 my Toyota minivan with 130K miles would not start. The engine would crank but not turn over. After checking the battery, I had it towed to Madison Automotive. Two years prior he had put a new fuel pump in this minivan and seemed like a decent guy. He got it started but wanted to keep it until the next day for a 'cold start' in the morning. On Thursday morning Jason had the same problem I experienced the day before and he diagnosed my car as needing another fuel pump. He acknowledged this was odd for a Toyota fuel pump to only last 2 years so he would discount his price from 1327.55 to 1200.00. if I would pay cash. He ordered the part and on Friday around 2pm I picked up my car, handed him 1200 dollars cash and left later that evening for Atlanta with my family. The next morning, less than 24hrs later, my car would again crank but not turn over, the exact same way it happened on Wednesday for me and Thursday for Jason. Madison Automotive was closed when I tried to contact them for advice and I was in Atlanta so I had my car towed once again and this time paid 560.00 to a mechanic there to install a new water pump. The next morning, Sunday, again my car would crank but not turn over. I called a friend in Atlanta who luckily knew a mechanic who came to where I was staying. He worked on my car in the driveway and found the fuel relay was not functioning properly. He drove to the store and bought a 48.00 relay, replaced it, and my car has worked perfectly since. My husband went to Madison Automotive on Monday morning and showed Jason all our receipts, totaling almost 2000.00 dollars and Jason said he was not at all at fault for a misdiagnosis. Flabbergasted by this response, I called him later that morning and he stated the fuel relay was not the problem on Friday when he ran diagnostics and replaced my fuel pump. When pressed for an answer said it was 'just a coincidence' that less than 24hrs after replacing my 2yr old fuel pump my car mimicked the identical problem and the fuel relay was then not working and needed to be replaced. When he asked what I expected him to do I suggested he reimburse me his fee minus the actual price he paid for the full pump, about 400.00 and he refused stating he was in no way accountable Yet 'coincidentally' my savings account has been depleted in just under 3 days and a 48.00 relay fixed my car. Jason is a friendly and talkative guy but you cannot trust a mechanic that will not admit he made a mistake!! read more
