I bought 4 new tires at Tire Discounters on Wall Triana with the road hazard warranty. The sales man couldn't be nicer. But when I needed a damage tire fix or replaced he said he said he didn't have the tire but would have it by the next day and set an appointment for the following day at 5 PM. The next day I called about 430 and said I might be five minutes late and he said no problem. I arrived at 5:05 and he told me he didn't have the tire and couldn't help me. I explained that the tire was damaged and I took a chance just coming there with it again he told me he couldn't help me. He didn't even offer to look at the tire to see if it could be patched. He said the shop on cabela drive had four of the tires and I could go over there. When I walked out he said be careful, I was so upset and wondered if he would have sent his mother or wife off with a damaged tire. Buy then it was about 5:20 and traffic in Madison is horrible so I went home and was grateful the tire made it . Someone should have called or told me when I called that they didn't have the tire. I think he just wanted to go home and wasn't making money off of a warranty. I will get my tire and then I will never use or recommend Tire discounters to anyone. I'll go to Avis, Firestone or Big Hearted Eddys, anywhere but there. read more

Just finished another service with this shop. Met with professional & courteous staff as usual. However, I did notice they have no chairs available behind the counter for the staff to sit. I appreciate TD tries to make the store environment as much customer friendly as possible. However, taking care of your employees is equally important. I just don't see the necessity for you to make your employees/manager stand there whole day while you could just provide couple of chairs for them to sit once a while. As a veteran, I know how this could cause chronic back problems if you stand like that day in and day out. Your workers are your most valuable assets. Please take care of them. Thanks. read more

BEWARE: This location has unskilled and unknowledgable employees!!!! An employee left a bolt missing from my back left caliper when doing my brakes which resulted in my car coming to a complete stop on a busy 1 way road and unable to move. I had to wait 2 hours holding up traffic waiting for a tow truck! Now I need a new wheel and they are being incredibly mean, rude and difficult about it. I was told by the manager Alex that this particular employee has been fired for doing this exact thing (not putting bolts in the caliper) to 3 other people's cars! This is no laughing matter people. If you brought your car in here for anything other than an oil change, you should immediately bring it to another servicer for an immediate inspection. Please take my advice. You could end up in a serious if not fatal crash due to their incompetence!!!!!! I am attaching a copy of my destroyed $450 wheel that they are refusing to replace. read more

This review is just regarding the tires and issues I've have with the tires that I bought there and with their servicing of them. I had my tires rotated by them for the first time a couple of months ago, and then my car started bouncing around the speed of 65-75. I know the problem is due to tire issues. I had them rebalance the tires, but the shaking didn't go away. I went to my car maker serving department, and they road forced my tires and said the one I was suspecting causing the problem was a bad tire and out of round. I returned to this store and they insisted there was nothing wrong with the tire, but did rebalanced them. The car still shook between the speed mentioned, but not quite as bad. After numerous efforts to correct the problem and going back numerous times to both this store and my car shop, I finally went to the other Tire Discounter in town. My car is not shaking like it had, but it still doesn't feel right, and I'm thinking the bad tire which this company refuses to replace, may be pulling outward. I'm keeping an eye on their tires and I'm fed up with all the trouble I've had because of them refusing to properly correct this problem with their tires. I'm worried that that tire is still bad and because I can't trust them, I will never buy tires from them again, and honestly, I was reluctant to buy tires from them to begin with. If I had gotten my tires from my usual store, I never would have had this problem to begin with, and if I had ever had a problem with them, my usual store wouldn't have given me the run around that this company has been giving me. read more

I went to get my breaks done this morning, and the gentleman at the front desk was rude. He was short and seemed very inconvenienced by my needing breaks on my truck... My daughter came to plug a nail hole in her front right tire. They proceeded to charge her $280 to replace her front two tires. They charged her double what any other place would have charged. My daughter makes $8 an hour . They are rip off artist. read more

Women beware. Brought our vehicle in for brakes. They called us later, speaking to my wife, and informed here the entire suspension needed replacing. She went in to speak to them and they insisted the suspension was bad and needed repair/replacement. She informed them that we just had all the suspension work done on the vehicle, at their location, within the last 6 months. They looked it up on their computer and insisted they didn't do the work. After several rounds of discussion, and my coming to the site, they realized the vehicle was under my name and that they had, in fact, done everything. She asked what indication they have that it needed to be replaced/fixed... after a short discussion between the manager and the technician... "it was determined by the vehicle mileage"... not through inspection. Shady attempt to take advantage of a woman they assumed wouldn't know about the vehicle. read more

Great service. Highly professional. They did a complete safety check, changed my oil and oil filter, rotated my tires all in an hour and for $100, which included patching a hole in one of my tires from a small screw that happened to be the same color as the tire making it very difficult to see. Negligent, Lackadaisical, and Incompetent. They nicked my wheel when they mounted my tires. Also, it would make sense to put the tape weights on inside of a nice wheel (just like it was when I brought it to them) instead of crimping the ugly lead weights to the lip of my wheels. Missing valve stem cap. I understand sh*t happens but I believe if there's a mistake brought to a businesses attention, it should be made right. Nope, they denied the marked left on my wheel and shrugged their shoulders about the weights because they're "factory". Was also told if I wanted them to rebalance the wheels and replace weights I'd have to make another appointment because they don't have time. The most important job is the one that you're on, if it's wrong make it right is all I ask. I guess they just don't have the time or the care to handle what's important, just another business more worried about volume rather than quality. read more

Tire Discounters is a rip off and now twice attempted to sell unnecessary repairs. Today they refused to fix a flat because they claimed my tires had 3/32 tread, couldn't legally be repaired and wanted to sell me new tires. I challenged their claim and asked to see the tread measurement which was 4/32 in the middle of the tire of 10/32 new or 60% worn. The tread is no where near the wear indicators. After I left it for repair, they called and said the tires were cupped, dry rotted, dangerous and they refused to repair. The car is 2016 model with 43K miles on the tires. I drove the car to another tire shop down the road, who promptly fixed the flat, did a complete inspection found no issue for no charge. read more
