Paul, Alexa and her assistant Paris, were absolutely amazing. From beginning to end the open line of communication was comforting. Alexa answered every nervous, stressed out email I sent her over our 8ish months of planning together. Her and her assistant Paris stayed with me and my husband all night to make sure we didn't miss anything and that was greatly appreciated. Their in-house staff was truly amazing, from cleaning behind the scenes to being on top of every little thing that went on the entire day. From the initial tour with Ian down to the final details with our amazing coordinator Caylin, I could not have felt more supported and cared for during the wedding planning process. With Caylin as the coordinator I was at peace the entire day and completely stress free. We absolutely loved our wedding and were able to relax knowing the professionalism of the staff ensured our day ran smoothly. All of my other wedding vendors told me they love working with Madera Estates and I think that is so important for the flow of the wedding. This venue is so cool! I doubted it from how far out from the city it was and the location generally seemed pretty suburban but the team here has done a great job cultivating an ecosystem. Literally. So many live plants are integrated into the bar/cabana/happy hour area. I was just here as a wedding party member and was treated respectfully by staff but generally left alone, which I appreciated. I attended my good friends wedding there on Friday night and it was BEAUTIFUL! She had mentioned how nice the venue was but once I got there, I was blown away! The whole venue is lit with string lights, candles and real wood burning fireplaces and fire pit. There was a beautiful courtyard ceremony and then we had the whole 'hacienda' for the reception All the vendors were helpful not to mention the management, coordinators and staff. It ran seamlessly and on time, if not ahead of schedule whole evening. Hello I was a guest at the powers weddings! I loved the venue so much! It was beautiful and so romantic! The staff there were very helpful! I asked a staffed member there (his name is show I think) a Asian man to help me carry some drinks back to my table for my friends and even asked me afterwards if I needed any other assistance. While this place is certainly showy it lacks terribly in care and respect for those involved in the wedding celebrations. My brother was married March of 2014. This wedding was years in the making and after a year engagement I was incredibly excited to see him finally betrothed. Also, my son and daughter were to be a part of the wedding party as a ring bearer and flower girl. My brother and his wife had also asked me to do a scripture reading during the ceremony. My family spent over $1,500 traveling from California to Conroe for the wedding, not to mention money spent on formal wear for the children and me. As one could expect, we had great expectations of having a wonderful, emotional experience at the ceremony and reception. I was 3 months pregnant at the time and got the children to the venue early so they could participate in the rehearsal obligations. I was introduced to Katy (I believe that was her name) who identified herself as the wedding coordinator. During the rehearsal Katy asked if I would stay with the children before they entered the ceremony. I had a disappointed look on my face because that would mean I would miss seeing them entering and walking down the aisle. This is most likely the only time they would ever be a ring bearer or flower girl. It would also mean I would have to stay there till my brother's wife walked down the aisle and I would miss that special moment of him seeing her and all the emotion that comes with that moment. Katy looked at me and said, "oh, does that make you sad or something?" My answer was a resounding, "YES!" She then went on to tell me that she would sneak me in some side door so that I could be at my seat to see the bride before she walked down the aisle. But, I would still miss my children. Not wanting to cause a ruckus at my brother's expense I foolishly and very sadly accepted the proposal. I did miss my children walk down the aisle. And they DID NOT show me in before the bride took the aisle. I stood there on the side looking like an idiot while the bride and her father tried to have a special last moment. She walked in and they shut the door in my face. After the bride reached the alter Katy said, "oh, I'm so sorry, I totally forgot." I didn't believe her. She then quickly rushed me in this weird side door and I had to rush, pregnant, in heels, trying not to make a noise...oh, yes, Katy told me to take them off as a solution, to get to the very front row because my reading was first. I've never been so disgusted and disappointed with a service in all of my life! As a wedding coordinator it is their job to make sure the children can get down the aisle, it is their job to make sure the immediate family is well taken care of and respected, it is their job to miss the wedding events that mean nothing to them! It's been 5 months since the wedding and I'm still heart-broken at having missed all these special moments that pictures can't fully capture! The care after the bride and groom left were abominable, too. Katy was no where to be seen and the rest of the staff were all too occupied in getting off of work as fast as possible. Nobody offered to help my mother, the mother of the groom, take down her decorations, gather still usable florals, and/or collect the left over wedding cake. So there was my husband and I (3 months pregnant) and my two children (who were exhausted) loading heavy items and helping my mother so she could go home and rest. I felt like I should have been paid for the jobs the venue should have taken care of. This was not their first wedding and one would figure they would be experts on the run and break down of all things wedding! I would NEVER, EVER recommend this venue to anyone, I don't care how scenic it is, it's not worth it! They seemed to accommodate the bride and groom but everyone else was a means to their end...their time off of work! read more

This venue is absolutely perfect! It doesn't matter if your event is large or intimate Madera Estates can be modified to fit your occasion. My wedding was large, over 250 people. It rained and everything was moved indoors. The staff acted quickly and were curtious the entire day (even when things didn't go as planned... every large event will have these moments). They only hold one wedding a day so I didn't feel rushed/stressed at all. We were married in November of 2014 and people are still completing us on how beautiful everything was. Visions of our future wedding filled our minds as he showed us the Grand Fireplace and the Hacienda. We could see laughter with our loved ones in the Groom and Bridal Suites. We immediately knew this would be our wedding destination. Beyond the tour, Ian was very helpful and involved every step of the way to ensure our wedding vision became a reality. Our package also included a wedding coordinator, Brittany, who was a major asset. Her experience and attentiveness paid dividends, as she gave us a framework at the beginning, kept us on pace throughout, and helped us iron out all the details in the end game so that we weren't left with any loose ends. (She was also very patient with us as we got closer to the date and would text her in a panic for whatever reason. I have to think there is a special place in heaven for wedding coordinators!) And after all the planning, stressing, crying, laughing, etc the day was here! My husband and I got married at Madera Estates a couple of weeks ago and the wedding was seriously a perfect dream come true! From the moment I walked into the venue the first time on a tour, I KNEW it was where I wanted to get married. For starters, the venue is absolutely beautiful and so picturesque no matter where you look. I called many, many times during our 18 month engagement and the staff there was always very sweet and more than willing to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel like I was bothering them. We were lucky enough to have Melissa as our coordinator and she was seriously a God-sent! She is so sweet, professional, and ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! Our entire wedding party, parents, and even our guests noticed how awesome she was!! We can't thank her enough for all that she did! I can not say enough AMAZING things about Madera Estates. My wedding was May 27th,2016! I was a very anti- venue bride and thought they were cliché and all the same. Madera Estates is SO one of a kind and the all-inclusive option was so perfect for a bride like me who did not want the added stress of having to outsource a ton of vendors on my own ( I wanted destination wedding and easy ) However upon my first visit I threw my destination idea out as I was blown away from the moment I walked in . The venue itself is absolutely stunning and can accommodate any theme or vision you might have . The coordinator is involved as little or as much as you would like them to be, and seriously caters to each wedding style-this is not a 1 wedding fits all venue . The attention to detail, planning, and execution is impeccable and my planner was always one step ahead. I heard so many stories of how stressful weddings can be, and I frankly will never know what that is like :) The day of my wedding, the wedding party and family were so catered to as well as me by the entire staff. This day wasn't a typical "job" and set up for them as my coordinator would check in just girl to girl to make sure I was feeling okay and if I needed anything. They truly enjoy what they do and it shows in the outcome. I still am getting compliments on everything from the catering, to the venue, to the staff. Reviews do not do this place justice its deff a "see for yourself" tour you should take. Any coordinator you work with is wonderful but Melissa - the coordinator I worked with is an entirely separate review and is truly a gem , and did so many behind the scenes to ensure the day was perfect.
