The pate has a nice creamy texture and is not gamy. They put scallions in there sandwich. I enjoyed it but this may not be for everyone. If I wrote this review after my first visit I would say that this is the best banh mi O have had in Hon Kong. However, the second time around the bread wasn't as fresh and didn't have the crunchy exterior that I hope for in a baguette. This is probably because I had the sandwich close to dinner time. I will definitely come back when I am craving a banh mi.

As for food, their salad or sandwich sets come with a soup, main course (build your own salad/sandwich), and a drink. Prices range between $60-$80. Quality-wise, I would say their sandwiches are not bad, comparable to Subway sandwiches, but their salads still have a long way to go. The salads basically share the exact same ingredients as a sandwich, but put into a bowl instead of between two pieces of breads. Some improvements in the salads would be nice! Other places would have really doughy baguettes, or they would throw in some Chinese ingredients to make it more marketable to locals? I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it ain't good. A friend brought me here after hearing me go on and on about how a perfect Banh Mi is supposed to taste like. THANK GOODNESS!!! There are only two people that work in this little shop. Aside from sandwiches, they also sell some dried Vietnamese goods. You will find Pho noodles ready to be made. You can also find some special flavored instant noodles to try at home. Some people have raved about their garlic bread as well but I have yet to try. Drinks are available too, but not a large variety. There are two stools for those who want to eat there. Tim Kee specialize in making Vietnamese bahn mi sandwiches. It's a bit difficult to decide what to order once you're inside because there is no English menu. I was lucky to have a young couple translate for me while I was in the quaint restaurant. I order a large pork sandwich. The owner picked up a large bun a placed it into an ancient oven. It came out and he carefully added carrots, cucumbers, and sauce. The flavor was just right, and the baguette was crispy and flaky on the outside. There are also some Vietnamese groceries available in the restaurant. It's not a large selection, but they have the basics for simple meals. This a perfect location for me when I want something quick and easy to pick up. The sandwiches would also be great of a picnic on the waterfront. They are not comparable to bahn mi sandwiches in Vietnam or the U.S., but they're pretty good for Hong Kong and will save me from cooking a few nights. While waiting for my sandwiches, I was looking at the various media coverage and discovered that there are actually 4 or 5 different sandwich choices. I just like that I can add +$9 (yup) coffee if you order food. But the coffee is $16 if you get it alone. The coffee is adequate and at least it's not instant! That deserves bonus points. They are nice to me (since I am always here). The food is expensive but it is food! They have a sandwich with grilled mushroom, peppers, eggplant that's $45 and it's really good!

This meaning a "method of cooking in which food is sealed in airtight plastic bags then placed in a water bath or in a temperature-controlled steam environment for longer than normal cooking times" This place sells slow-cooked beef that goes under an 8 or 48-hour process, or slow-cooked chicken that goes under a 2-hour process as a sandwich. Mm... soft meat. They also sell salads, craft beers (yesssss), special drinks, and desserts (which they partnered with a local source) I was sad that they didn't have any slow-cooked ribs the day I went, but that gives me a reason to come back! And they have a happy hour from 6-9pm: if you order any craft beer, you get 50% off on their snack menu. Whaaat. More reason for me to come back! They have only 4 stools to sit right at their kiosk, but do not fret, there are plenty of chairs around the area, but no table. They also provide plastic gloves for you to eat with. Neat. But unfortunately if you dine in, they will charge you regular price.
