Countless times I have swooned over Madeline Weinrib's Ikat pillows and vintage Moroccan rugs crafted by the various Berber tribes who live in the Atlas Mountains. While on the hunt for two such rugs that would coordinate in my living-dining room combo in a preferred palate of fuschia, magenta and/or purple. I found 2 rugs that I liked and were sized appropriately for my condo while surfing the internet in my search. Amazingly they were both marked down approximately 25%. I contacted them stating that I wanted to purchase the rugs, however the hitch was I was waiting for a new credit with a promotional zero interest period for 18 months. Mr. Aslan stated that that would be fine. Throughout the entire process of purchasing my rugs Mr. Aslan was professional, gracious and kind. A day before my card arrived I went online and found that ABC Carpet and Home had added a code for an extra 10% off on rugs and Mr. Aslan gave me the additional discount on my purchase. I will caution anyone who wants purchase these types items online to have a clear idea of what it is you are purchasing and to realize that sometimes photos may make colors seem more intense and certain patterns either less or more prominent. Try to view some rugs in person to get an idea of the product and to figure out what you like and do not like, which is what I did on two previous trips to New York City. Madeline Weinrib's Studio is located on the 6th floor of ABC Carpet and Home and comes with the highest recommendation from me. read more
