I really enjoyed my evening here. First, I think that it helps that this place is tucked away from all the craziness of Camden (it's located in Inverness Street). The decor, all dark wood, is cosy and inviting. It helps that the cocktail list is prolific, and the drinks are well made by experienced bar staff who know their caiprihinas well. (There are 10 different types here - and if you get here at happy hour the cocktails are £3.50.) While the menu is very comprehensive and has lots of traditional Brazilian large dishes such as pork, black bean and seafood stew - I would recommend getting lots of the street food inspired starters. The cheese bread is a must, as are the courgette and calamari fritters. The evening was made even more enjoyable when I went downstairs and discovered a live band playing typically Brazilian samba. The great quality of this place is that it feels authentic, rather than "Brasil is our theme". Definitely one of my favourite places in Camden.

I haven't actually eaten at the restaurant part of this place yet, but apparently it's better to just stick with the drinking at the bar area. It is a small space (there is a garden as well), loud and bustling with diners and drinker alike. Most of the people are Brazilian, from the clientele to the wait staff and bartenders. During the weekends there is normally something going on in the evenings with different Brazilian DJ's playing on the upstairs area. They do very good Caipirinhas, which is a must to try, as well as other delicious cocktails. During happy hour you can have selected Brazilian Beers or a glass of house wine for £2.0, a choice of classis Caipirinhas or mango Caipirinhas for £3.50.

We had lunch here, the food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere was great. We could have been in Brasil as well. Thumbs Up!

I absolutely love the setting and the decor of this place, the paintings on the wall and the conservatory feel in the basement are great and give it a fun exotic vibe. There were lots of things I did really like about this place but there were quite a few that let it down for me a bit which is why I've only given 3 stars So the good things - the cocktails were delicious, they have a lot of really interesting flavours including kiwi which was divine! They're also only a fiver before 8pm. The tapas deal is £14.50 for 3 dishes before 8pm and the sausage was particularly delicious. The desserts were also really really tasty my friends got the brownie and the guava cheesecake and I obviously had a bite of both. Also recommend the lime mayo. And sadly on to the bad. I was disappointed with the chicken as the way it was served I was definitely not expecting bones and there were a lot. We were sat in the basement which was actually really chilly. The waiter bless him did put on a heater when I asked but it didn't do much to help sadly. The food also took quite a while to come which wasn't an issue as such as we had time but I was ravenous and getting serious food envy of the table next to us! I would like to try them again as some of the other food options did look great as well!

I only came here for a few drinks with friend but it turned into a fantastic night out with a good old dance and the yummiest cocktails ever! One was chilli raspberry. This was cracking! I wouldn't make one edit to it! It was reasonably priced and packed a punch. I would go back and this time for food! But if you go don't get too carried away with the fun it was a nightmare to try get home...

Meu! Lovely to have my fave dishes. Must try! Missing brazil so much now!

This place is amazing! Take it from a Brazilian, the dishes are as authentic as it gets. The Picanha was really great.

It's also adorable with a lovely man serving and making all the food out the back. I walked past this place this morning and thought, "I must pop in for lunch, this place looks too cute." I'm so glad I did! Browsing the menu there is a host of Brazilian home baked delights on offer, from chicken croquettes to cheesey dough dumplings. I went for one of their home made sandwiches filled with egg mayo and tonnes of salad. That with an apple cost no more than £3. What a great value lunch. They do have a little sitting area for 2 people that you can eat at. It's really nice because you can sit and watch the world go by while munching your lunch. I am so going back here to try the rest of their menu as well as their coffee. Well done Café Brasileiro, I can't wait to see you grow ever popular with the locals.

The vegetables, rice and beans that were available at the downstairs salad bar looked unappetising, cold and somewhat soggy with neglect. As for the meat, yes they do serve different cuts of beef, chicken, lamb and Brazilian sausage often but they all share a common saltiness which my group of diners all concluded must be a ploy to make you yearn for and order more drink and dessert. In addition to this, the well-done sirloin steak is too tough - the kind of texture that is difficult to chew and the bacon wrap was literally so salty that even though it was tiny, it was difficult to consume.  Meanwhile, the barman not only did not know what drinks to recommend other than mojito, he also wasn't familiar with what was contained in 'The Preto' - supposedly the restaurant's signature drink. The other staff were not much better; yes I understand that this is a self-service buffet but a lack of welcome or any hint of a smile did not go unnoticed. I suspect that a dining experience on the ground floor would be better than my experience in their downstairs dining area but I can only judge on what I had and frankly the ethos all around did feel like a money-making mission rather than an attempt on delivering quality food and service.

Well, sometimes you have to value service, it might not always be like that but the service I received was great, absolutely everyone were great! Considering the price, I think is a great option hands down, I've been to other churrascarias where I've paid a lot more and the experience was bad! I will definitely eat at Preto when I return to London!

A lot of their furniture is made out of recyclable materials. Their lights and seats outside are made out of large paint cans. They use old wine and spirit bottles as candle holders, the entire interior is made out of wood and walls plastered with vintage posters and newspaper. Their glassware adds a very classic and vintage-y atmosphere. If you head all the way to the back, there's an roof window that allows sunlight in. I LOVE IT! Brunch. I haven't had mango or papaya in ages! And this place just had the right amount of meat and tropical fruits served on a fancy ass wooden bark tray! I got an English breakfast (Lol, because I suck) and it came with two perfect sunny side ups, sausages and my own little pot of beans! *cries* My partner got the Brazilian brunch set that came with a variety of cheese and ham, served with tropical juice of your choice. We got the mango smoothie, it was thick and delicious! None of that too much ice sh*t I can't say much about their lunch or dinner (clearly cause I haven't had any), but the breakfast and brunch selection seems to be good. Coffee was ok, complimented our food though. The service is good. It's like going to your best friend's house and the mum just wants you to be fed. It's a really comfortable and warm atmosphere. I almost cried. Kidding.
