And in the rare instance that he didn't know something, he always took the time to research it and follow-up as soon as he could. But even more important for me was Todd's humility and integrity. While real-estate agents are often seen as simple salespeople, Todd never came a cross as salesy whatsoever. He would always try to remain impartial, objective, and honest, even if that meant compromising his own bottom line. I could see Todd's integrity a mile away, which is why I felt comfortable trusting him with a transaction of this size. While I don't know for certain, I think I'm pretty safe in guessing that Todd is quite well off. He's not desperate for business and he does a significant volume of large transactions annually. I asked some questions via email, this was a home we were really hoping to see (rental property). I got a short one line reply that it was leased. I replied back and asked if there were other properties in the same area. He never bothered to respond. So I contacted Lisa Biddy. We had met her when we originally searched for a rental property a year ago and had just moved to the area. She set up a search with our specific parameters and we began receiving emails. However, we had some specific needs for the home we rent, so there were not many available. We expanded our search expecting this to take some time. We were doing all of this while also traveling quite a bit. I received an extremely rude email from Lisa stating she did not believe we were serious about finding a home because we had not made any appointments to see one. Ummm, we are out of town!! She also stated we must be working with another realtor and no, we were not. The truth is, in the search of what was coming up, we had found 1 or 2 houses that might work, and I would have seen had we been in town. We weren't sure the price was right and didn't want to waste her time with viewing a home we weren't completely serious about renting. Frankly, it seemed this realtor was not on board for a search that might take some time and it ultimately would take some time due to our travel schedule and our specific area we were looking in. Not many were coming available that met our needs with hardwood floors and a yard in our price range/area. We were willing to wait for the right home but EBBY Realtors are just out to turn a buck. It's such a disappointment that this company has no clue how to treat a client who will ultimately be buying a home and the real estate agent we use now, will also be who we use when we buy in another year or so. There are too many agents out there to deal with this crappy company who needs a lesson in manners and customer service.
