From the beginning, she impressed us with her level of preparedness and professionalism. At our first meeting, she already had been looking at the value of the home we wanted to sell and had outlined a marketing plan. She was also quick to respond when we had questions and stayed in constant communication with us regarding feedback from showings and other events during the process. She helped talk us through every step of the way as we received an offer and went through negotiations. From the inspection, some concerns were noted. We contacted her to discuss it and she had already lined up the appropriate professionals to verify the concerns and prepare quotes to help us in our response to the buyers. Negotiations were smooth with no major issues arising. We had already narrowed down the general area in which we were interested in living. She provided additional information based on her knowledge of the area which enabled us to further narrow our search. We quickly found a property and she was on top of the negotiations. She has a team of venders available that was helpful as the inspection identified hail damage to the roof. Her roofer was able to provide verification and helped in working with the sellers to get the issue addressed by their insurance prior to closing. We highly recommend her for her knowledge, communication skills, and for staying on top of things every step of the way throughout the process.

Todd is an exceptional agent…read more I've lived in several major metropolitan areas in the U.S. throughout my life, and service in Dallas has been more hit and miss than in any other major city I've ever lived in. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe it's just super hot in Dallas and people just can't be bothered to work all that hard. Maybe it's because people here just earn less on average and so they don't have the financial incentive to put in as much work. Whatever the reason is, I've honestly found it quite difficult to find high-quality professionals here who take pride in their work. Todd is one of the few I've worked with in my 5+ years of living in this city who really stand out. He's just an all-around consummate professional. Todd has an incredible depth of industry knowledge and general housing experience that he draws from that he used to guide my wife and I throughout our first home purchase at the beginning of September. And in the rare instance that he didn't know something, he always took the time to research it and follow-up as soon as he could. But even more important for me was Todd's humility and integrity. While real-estate agents are often seen as simple salespeople, Todd never came a cross as salesy whatsoever. He would always try to remain impartial, objective, and honest, even if that meant compromising his own bottom line. I could see Todd's integrity a mile away, which is why I felt comfortable trusting him with a transaction of this size. While I don't know for certain, I think I'm pretty safe in guessing that Todd is quite well off. He's not desperate for business and he does a significant volume of large transactions annually. This is extremely important when considering a real estate agent because the more desperate they are, the more likely they'll do whatever it takes to close a deal, even at your expense. At the same time, you don't want to work with an agent who is too absorbed in their own success that they can't bother to spend any time with you. Todd is truly that rare mix of humility, integrity, experience, and detail orientation that makes for the perfect real estate agent. I started this homebuying process thinking real-estate agents are just people who pick up the phone, talk a bunch of nonsense, and collect a handsome check after doing effectively nothing, and left on closing day absolutely certain that I would not have been able to do this without Todd. I highly recommend him and am happy to share more details about my experience if you want to reach out.

One of my favorite parts of working with Tammy was all of the local knowledge she shared along the way. She gave me fantastic recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and places to explore around the area. It felt like I was getting a realtor and a local guide at the same time! I'm now happily settled into my first home and couldn't be more appreciative of everything Tammy did to help me get here.

Courtesy of a program at work, I was hooked up with Russell D. at Ebby Halliday…read more I had no idea what to expect, since I'd never bought a house before. It took about 3 months, but we finally found that perfect place. Saw over 30 houses during that time. I'd been involved in plumbing and electrical repairs before, as the apprentice for my Dad and brother, but never really paid attention. To say it was a learning experience would not even come close to giving it justice. No doubt everyone learns a lot during the home buying process. The very cool part was I was getting info on what to look for at each place, ideas on how to manage things and overall real estate knowledge I wasn't expecting, based on my previous experiences with a realtor when renting. Course, renting means you're just happy you have a place for your stuff that you can afford, if something breaks, you don't care...it's the landlord's problem. Throughout the process, Russell's knowledge and dedication to assisting me in buying my first place were top notch. When family issues got in the way, and I temporarily put the search on hold, it didn't faze him and when I was available again, we hit the ground running. While I'm glad I finally own a home, and saved lots of money in the process, there is no doubt it wouldn't have happened as well if I had another agent. If/when I buy another house, or sell my new one....I'll be working with Russell again.

Please do yourself a favor and find another company to work with…read more I contacted Ebby realtors due to a home I'd found in an online search matching me up to Christopher Miller. I asked some questions via email, this was a home we were really hoping to see (rental property). I got a short one line reply that it was leased. I replied back and asked if there were other properties in the same area. He never bothered to respond. So I contacted Lisa Biddy. We had met her when we originally searched for a rental property a year ago and had just moved to the area. She set up a search with our specific parameters and we began receiving emails. However, we had some specific needs for the home we rent, so there were not many available. We expanded our search expecting this to take some time. We were doing all of this while also traveling quite a bit. I received an extremely rude email from Lisa stating she did not believe we were serious about finding a home because we had not made any appointments to see one. Ummm, we are out of town!! She also stated we must be working with another realtor and no, we were not. The truth is, in the search of what was coming up, we had found 1 or 2 houses that might work, and I would have seen had we been in town. We weren't sure the price was right and didn't want to waste her time with viewing a home we weren't completely serious about renting. Frankly, it seemed this realtor was not on board for a search that might take some time and it ultimately would take some time due to our travel schedule and our specific area we were looking in. Not many were coming available that met our needs with hardwood floors and a yard in our price range/area. We were willing to wait for the right home but EBBY Realtors are just out to turn a buck. It's such a disappointment that this company has no clue how to treat a client who will ultimately be buying a home and the real estate agent we use now, will also be who we use when we buy in another year or so. There are too many agents out there to deal with this crappy company who needs a lesson in manners and customer service.

The first meeting we spoke about the a plan to get the house sold and they were very upfront and provided realistic expectations. Katie staged our home and it looked amazing after she was done, both when showing the home and also for the pictures. I got lots of compliments from friends on how great the house looked after the staging was done and how beautiful the pictures looked. Also, Katie has worked with builders, so if you are looking to build your dream home, she knows exactly how the process works and will be with you every step of the way. Trey is an expertise in marketing. Since he has a sales background, I was super confident he would go above and beyond to sell our home and find the buyer we were looking for. He was willing to do open houses and also reached out to others to bring potential buyers in. Both Katie and Trey were there if we had any questions and went above and beyond to help us out during whole process of selling our home. If you are looking to buy or sell your home, they have years of experience and are super knowledgeable about the market itself. They are such genuine people and really care about helping you find the perfect place to live. Katie helped me most recently look for rent houses - which I gave her an impossible task to find a cheap place to live in Frisco. I felt like I'd wasted so much of her time trying to find a rent house but she put me at ease. I never felt pressured to settle for a place with her. Katie patiently listened to my "must have" list and was very attentive during the entire process. She really looked into the quality of the homes that we were seeing and would give her honest opinion about it. Once I finally found "the one" she executed the paperwork quickly and made the process as painless as possible. Having bought the house over 4 months ago, she still keeps in touch and checks in on me. I know she's always there if I need advice or help finding a specialist. She and Trey are such kind and caring people and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone. There is no way that you will not love them!
