I have had the very good fortune to have worked with Geni Manning for the last two years. During…read morethis time, I have witnessed firsthand her amazing tenacity and perseverance in getting a client's home sold or in working through issues with a buyer. I've owned and sold several homes in as many states; I have had some very good Realtors, but no one, not a single one, could hold a candle to the tenacity, negotiating skill, and ability Geni has to get top dollar for her selling clients and the best price and terms for her buyer clients. I think Geni's tenacity is clearly revealed in the short sale listing that involved a divorce with an uncooperative and uncommunicative spouse, a bankruptcy, a foreclosure and much more. First, Geni was able to have the property pulled out of foreclosure and negotiated with the lender's short sale department to forgive the seller's debt. She also worked with bankruptcy attorneys to unwind the bankruptcy and remove that from the owners' credit. Then, late in the process, with an offer from a buyer on the table, it was discovered that the property was encumbered with an IRS Tax Lien that she was able to get removed and cleared. Short-sale, foreclosure, bankruptcy, divorce, IRS Tax Lien and an uncooperative spouse - this would have been enough to cause anyone to throw in the towel, but not Geni! She stayed with it, worked with the sellers and buyers, the lender, the title company and divorce and bankruptcy attorneys and got the home sold!! It was a true miracle and I know of no one but Geni that could have pulled this off - she had to do so many people's jobs for them, but she did and no complaints. I recall another case that shows her negotiating skills. A house was mired in probate issues - legal and between family members who were not agreeing to a division of equity and were knowingly holding up the sale. The case became very complicated, but Geni was able to untangle all the loose ends and get the house sold at a price above market. I have never met anyone with the "CAN DO" attitude that Geni has or her personal, heart-felt commitment to her clients. Geni is truly a one-of-a-kind, and it's no wonder that other agents refer to Geni as the "Master of Residential Real Estate," the one they call for advice that she quite generously provides. There are many good Realtors, but why have good when you can have the very BEST?
