The Bar Harbor had enough meat on it, although the buns are smaller than I'd expect from a NE lobster roll place so the total quantity was pretty small for $30 The clam chowder was thin and watery and the clams were really chewy like they had been microwaved. A definite pass. The lobster Mac & cheese was an abomination. The portion was tiny for the ridiculous price, it was overcooked, and they literally just tossed a couple of tiny pieces of lobster on top of what should have been a $3 side of Mac, then heated it and dried what little lobster there was out. If you insist on eating here, just get the sandwich. The rest is a rip/off and not great quality. Next time I will find the Cousin's truck

I've been eyeing this place since we moved to Raleigh almost 2 years ago and it only took this long…read moreto eventually visit the place. Ironic considering this place is just 3 minutes away from where I live. Well, we finally found the time to visit and try out their fare (while waiting for our movie to screen at the Regal cinema a few steps away). Entering the store felt a little sad. The place felt a little deserted. It was well lit and airy but honestly it was so far away from major foot traffic. Additionally, since this is real lobster, the prices are fairly hefty. So even though the fare is clearly fast-food-ish, the prices are fine-dining level. Be prepared for sticker shock. The food - my wife loves the lobster rolls. In fact she's addicted to it now. My lobster mac n' cheese, was, for lack of a better word, bland and uninspiring with the exception of the fairly generous bits of lobster. I should've gotten the roll. I will rate the roll an A. My mac n' cheese a B-. 4 stars overall. Since my wife loves this place, we will be back for more. Recommend? Yes, but be sure to bring a little more dough - this place is expensive.

When I've been to other places like this you honestly can't really tell a difference between what they claim to be "Waygu" and regular beef. We couldn't tell a difference between the lamb, pork and beef since they brought it all out at the same time. Once it's cooked it all tasted the same. The only limit is time, 2 hours which is more than enough. Our server was Enzo and he was outstanding. Five stars for him and the manager checking on us. The four star rating I'm giving them has nothing to do with the service, couldn't have been better. The kitchen didn't bring out items we ordered multiple times or the correct amount of items. At the end of the night there were a few things we ordered at the beginning that we never got. I had to sick Enzo on them to get me the shrimp, it took over an hour and I'm not sure why but I thank him for taking care of it for me, he checked multiple times to the point I probably drove him crazy. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy and Enzo was very well informed on keeping everything gluten-free for us. He steered her away from most of the sauces and some of the items that contained gluten. Still, for a gluten-free person this place is amazing and has a ton of options, you won't go board. She absolutely loved the glass noodles, we got at least 3 orders of them. I was blown away by the mussels...they might have been the best I've ever had. We did a split pot with a spicy beef broth and a tomato soup base with a date floating around in it. Everything we tried was really good and we will definitely come back sometime. You can do both Korean BBQ and Hot Pot for $10 more, and for $50 you can get both + the upgraded meats. I'm not sure there's a reason to do both but many tables were doing it. As a fan of Korean BBQ I think Hot Pot is way better. We loved the ambiance...it gave a feeling of being in Japan or Korea, somewhere with lots of flashy neon lights and interesting machines. They even had a robot bartender but it was powered off so I'm not sure it worked as it was a busy evening and you would think they would be using it. The only thing awkward was the table...with the hot pot and bbq in it, it makes for some really awkward angles underneath it to where it would have been difficult to seat 4 people around our 4 top table.
