    Kitty!!

Decent parking in front of the store. Time limits but 15 minutes is sufficient for this store. Cat and dog stuff. Better than the basic goods from a large box store. Prices are reasonable for boutique animal toys, treats and food. The toys they keep in stock for cats are sure to please even the most finicky feline. They refill containers of kitty litter which is great and green! Love that. The little kitty they had running about the store, was super friendly and even tried to follow us around and out of the store. I wanted to take him home. The staff extremely pleasant friendly and helpful. I highly recommend any owner that loves their cat like family, to shop here!

    A cat centric pet store.

Most pet stores are for the dogs. Although my best friend in my 30s was a dog named Kamal, since then I've realized that cats are the pets for people who have lives (as Garrison Keillor put it). This is a cat-centric pet store, yay! When we first came here there were two workers, one over-qualified human female (veterinary student), one domestic shorthair. The human worker was much more helpful than the cat. We needed to solve an anxiety problem, we knew we needed to start walking our male cat around the outside of our house, from watching Jackson Galaxy, but the equipment specifics put us in the capable hands of the young lady working here. She talked us into less than $20 worth of harness, leash and toys which all worked out very well. They have high quality cat play-trees and scratching posts at good prices (you can't compare with the more cheaply made versions in the larger chain pet stores, these are much more attractive and better built). They carry all the toys that Jackson Galaxy (he is the Anthony Bourdain of cat-ownership) recommends. Unlike many stores in this bicycle-friendly town, there's convenient parking right in front. Still, if I lived in town, I'd ride my bike here.

I shop for dog treats and toys and always find something when I shop, despite the cat moniker. I like the selection of freeze dried dog treats and safe (yet fun!) toys. This can be a great option to look for toys that provide mental stimulation to your cat or dog yet are safe for pets in terms of manufacturing quality. Oh, and it's super fun to bring your pet inside the store--or if you don't bring a pet, they usually have a resident cat that you can pet.

branch near my work, because they have more varieties and sizes of the two wet foods my cat adores.

It makes it easy to find the different animal sections. They carry excellent brands including my favorite pet brand, Fromm. They have a great selection, enough to choose from but not too many where it becomes overwhelming. Note the parking lot can get busy so there is also street parking available on Midvale Blvd. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I brought my dog in a few months ago and was looking to change up her food. They offered me many samples and explained their return policy. If you open a large bag of food and your dog doesn't like it, you can return it. So don't be scared to try new food for your pets, they will take back open bags. They also have canned food, fresh dried food, and frozen food options for both cats and dogs. One of my favorite items in the store are these cute cat beds that look like a big mitten. They are locally made in the Madison area. My dog's favorite section is the bones. I discovered these cool bones that are considered cheese chews. It takes awhile for my dog to chew through this bone but once she does you can put the last bit of the bone in the microwave and it turns into a treat. I love discovering these new items when I visit Nutzy Mutz. And of course I love being greeted by their friendly store cat!

She called to say order was ready, sent a email also to me. Got there, everything was ready, and treated me like I mattered, which was a pleasant welcome. Went in & looked around for the first time. I have been to Pet Smart, the store is nice. But Pet Supplies Plus is just as nice. I checked prices , and there both good. But Pet Supplies Plus had more of what I was looking for. I wanted a fish tank & all the supplies that I would pick out myself, not a complete set up kit . The store was clean, & I talked to a few employees,{ they were all down to earth & very helpful} So ,, They have a lot of nice things, I saw a lizard I want to get, a couple of doves, a snake, and a couple of nice turtles, and of course fish. If you like animals & critters, I don't know what more you would want, {also tons of cat & dog items} It was a nice Adventure, an Adventure I look forward to taking again. So Ya, take the Adventure to Pet Supplies Plus , unless you don't like Adventures ..... Animals ...... & Critters ............ bruce dog Peace Out ............................

However, I will say that the new Self-Serve Dog Wash isn't practical at all. I was excited to use the new wash area and was left disappointed. A few things to note: - There's no grip for the dog in the bath. My dog was slipping around the whole time and digging his claws into the tile/plaster tub. I wish they put some sort of rubber mat down. - The baths don't have that half wall like a traditional tub. It's more like a counter to put your dog on. It looks really nice and it's easy to get the dogs in but I was left soaking wet since the water was just splashing back at me. Even with the apron on. - The hooks with the slip leads are just too close to the corners of the walls. It left my dog standing and sitting in awkward positions. Maybe they should add a hook towards the middle so there's more options. I used to come all the time to bathe my dog but now I just can't see myself using the new washing area again :/ I will definitely continue to shop their selection of food, treats, and toys though!
