People actual vacation in Graham, NC!!! At least I do, when there is a CrossFit gym only 17 mins…read moreaway. I enjoyed my time off from the grind by spending time with DEAR friends and Dropping In at a quality CrossFit gym like CrossFit Simplicity. The drop in process was great (and I got a shirt). The owner, Daniel, was professional and helpful. I worked out with the community 4x. This included one 5:30pm, 2 5:30am and one partner WOD. It was a great way to stay on track. The gym is spacious, the equipment organized and clean. The coaches were excellent. There is a shower with towels as well towels for the million burpees we did that week!!!! You know that nervous feeling you get during the partner work out? Not a problem here! My partner was accommodating and supportive of the "Old Man". CrossFit Simplicity is well run gym and very inviting. When I come to visit my friends, knowing CrossFit Simplicity is a 17 min drive from Graham to Burlington, makes visiting a lot more convenient. Y'all, I am in LOVE with this place! We recently moved to Burlington and joining CFS was the best…read moredecision I've ever made! Let me tell you, I've never tried crossfit before and I was a little bit intimidated by everything at first- like everybody looks so professional, lifts crazy amount of weights, does all different sort of workout, and here I am, little Asian girl who does not know what she's doing haha. Well, don't you worry! Daniel, Maryann and Felicia are the best. They take their time to teach you and make sure you are doing everything right. I am like a crossfit dummy, so everything is still so new to me, but they've been so patient with me and I love the fact that they encourage and motivate everybody like non stop! I've been going to 5:30am class everyday and I absolutely love it. I really love the vibe here- everybody is so friendly, they all work so hard and you know just by looking at them, you want to be like them! Ah, they are just my inspiration!!! I am so glad I found this place, CFS definitely made my life in Burlington so much better. If you are looking for a great workout place, I highly recommend CrossFit Simplicity!

Very strong community across all classes that I've visited. I think this is a function of the…read moresmaller class sizes, older and more ethnically diverse demographic (though there is uniform probability of any age being represented) and the more personable trainers + studio manager leadership. Classes are normally limited to 36 people, though presently, I think it's limited to 12 for COVID. Masks are worn for indoor workouts, doors are opened for circulation. Come check it out and tell them I sent you :) Shoutout to Tripp, Daniel and Bimala. Very cool trainers and people who love what they do and the people they are coaching.

Earlier this year I joined F45 as a way to get back in shape, and be healthier overall. I had…read morepreviously tried things like T25 (Videos), and in the past had been a gym member (lifting weights); but none of them really kept me motivated and coming back...nor was I really very dedicated to cardio work. F45 kind of changed all that. Each session is pretty intense as far as a workout goes, but it's all about how hard you push yourself. Exercises can be slower and easy, or fast and hard (or slow and hard ;-) ) depending on how you feel, and your level of confidence. However, the trainers that are there to help you along and the team of people that you work out with that help you to get motivated make all the difference. The folks that come there are super friendly and engaging; and the trainers are personable and non-judgemental ;-) . It's a high intensity workout, and it's easy to get a lot out of it so long as you go on a regular basis. All that being said, I'm a fan of F45. There are some things that make it better (perhaps) than others: - Erika (the trainer that is usually there when I go) is super friendly and helpful; she's always greeting you with a smile on her face, and ending the day with high-fives; and during the workouts she's letting you know where you can improve - or where you can push yourself harder. - The changing exercises daily (both in terms of timing, flow, and exercises themselves) keep things from getting dull; and you're focusing on different body parts - which is also great. - There are NO TREADMILLS; it's personal - but I'm not a fan of those things at all, so the lack of them is a plus for me. I've met several nice people at the local F45, and although none of them have invited me or my family over for dinner, I remain hopeful. Seriously though - the people are great, the trainers are great, and they have these heart monitors you can strap on to see how much you are improving. I'd highly recommend you go and try it out if you're looking for something different, and engaging, in terms of high intensity interval training.
