Great food, and yummy coffee. The food was great, and the server was sweet. We got a free cookie with our meal which was a sweet touch! Will be back again before heading back to California.

Delicious breakfast on a Saturday morning in Eden. I stopped in just after 7 am to order takeout since their open sign came on and the website said that's when they opened. They said they had "just gotten there" and it would be 30 minutes for an order. It took 45, which was a long wait, so I'd time it differently next time. I waited in the restaurant for my order and enjoyed a tasty coffee and took in the fun surroundings. Love the hand-illustrated menu board, music, and the employees were all helpful. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was great, and the hash browns perfect. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious.

Disappointed and Frustrated Experience I called Mad Moose Cafe ahead of time to confirm they served breakfast and was told it was available until 11:30. I arrived well before that time, but we were given lunch menus and told breakfast was no longer being served because the owner decided they were "too busy." No heads-up, no sign, just a last-minute change. I ordered a BLT instead. The place was busy, but we were seated right away, so I expected a reasonable wait. After an hour of waiting with no update, the server returned to say the owner had now told her they were out of bacon. I had to change my order again and ended up waiting another 30 minutes -- an hour and a half total for a simple meal. There was no apology from management, no comp, no discount -- nothing to acknowledge the poor communication, lack of follow-through, or wasted time. This felt like a place overwhelmed and poorly managed, where decisions change on a whim and the customer experience takes a backseat. Disappointed and won't be returning.

Wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing morning with family and friends. The staff and food were outstanding.

Randomly decided to take a pit stop at this place. Super cute ski town. Van was our server and she was great. Best server of the entire trip! We split the CA burger since we wanted some ice cream for dessert. She had amazing suggestions and was so sweet. We couldn't decide which icecream we wanted to she split the scoop in half and gave us both.

Best cappuccino! Foam is perfect!! Awesome omelet, enough for 2, homemade strawberry jam, yummy! Plate presentation is beautiful!! Thank you for great breakfast.

The food was so delicious and service was amazing! They have an extensive breakfast menu, including so many yummy coffees! Great indoor and outdoor seating with lovely flowers all around. We loved the music they played and everyone was so kind. Thank you to our server Ember for taking care of our large group!

A small glimpse into all the unique decoration around the restaurant.

For a very small town with even less options, the mad moose delivers excellent food and service with unique flare that will be hard to beat in Eden. We went with a group of 10 during lunchtime and the family run. Staff handled the large influx very well. We ordered everything from burgers, grilled cheese, chicken sandwiches, adult, beverages, soda, milkshakes, ice cream and coffee. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals, and that did not even tap the more expensive menu that they have which included ice cream, floats, smoothies, Very in depth, coffee, menu and more. The quality of my meal was excellent and definitely would be hard-pressed to go anywhere else in town. Our server, Bradee, I was very kind, attentive, and quick with any small additional request that we had. Also the pleasure of meeting the owner who when we bought the above depicted cookies told us that he personally bakes each box which is a very neat personal touch. In addition to this, the establishment gets its name from present Theodore Roosevelt, but I will leave the rest of the knowledge to the new patrons as there is lots information posted around the restaurant. We just tried the cookies after our vacation and they are quite good and our crispy but soft at the same time as the initial bite has that crunch, but then the cookie dissolves in your mouth. Highly recommend buying a box. We also purchased some coffee as a gift in this unique potato sack. Overall, if you find yourself in this area and looking for a drink, whether alcohol, smoothie, coffee, or a bite to eat. I highly recommend the mad moose.

We waited about a half hour to sit but it didn't feel long. I sat next to the cute bear they have in the waiting area/lobby. SERVICE: The servers there were quick to take our orders! The food did take awhile to come out though. But I get it as it seemed to be understaffed. I wished they had come around a bit more often to check up on us, but there was a lot going on which was definitely out of their control. It just left us waiting a long while. FOOD: The food was yummy! I got the Ranch personal pizza which has ranch dressing as the base, mozzarella, chicken, broccoli, grilled onions, bacon, and tomatoes. It was so hot, crispy, and delicious! Also got a nice side salad to get some greens in. I will be dreaming about the dessert for a long time! We got the Forbidden Apple that has vanilla ice cream rolled in brown sugar oats surrounded by sauteed cinnamon apples. Just amazing!! OVERALL: A cute local spot with lots to offer!

Some locals were playing pool and the waitress treated us like we were in that same category. Onto the food - they server two mains, burgers and hot dogs. We both went with the burgers. Cooked perfectly and we savored every bite. The wife went with a double cheeseburger with bacon and I went with the classic Star burger - two patties and a krautwurst. Notably my wife doesn't like bacon all that much but she ate every single bite of the double burger and did not even give me wee bit of bacon. Chips were chips, just fine. It is a cash only (and Venmo) and they even have an ATM, just in case. Have not seen one of those outside of Vegas in years. Can't say enough good things about stopping in to grab a burger or dog, soak up the atmosphere and just relax for it. Comprehensive beer menu but we did not partake that day.
