And then we waited & waited. At 8:15 our chowder was served. It was indeed loaded....with mostly potatoes. I encountered 4 pieces of clam. My husband didn't count but said he too found very few clam pieces This was not a $22 bowl of chowder! The fish & chips & mussels arrived. A small piece of haddock on some sad fries was ok. Not great, but ok. We uncovered the bowl of mussels to find they were stone cold. We sent them back & turned down the offer to make a new order. The check for just the chowder and haddock was $47. Had they been wonderful, I would not have cared, but they were just ok. We will not bother going back.

Street parking all along the main street or at fish pier parking lot just across the street. Great selection of seafood based starters between the oysters, shrimp cocktail, lox and crab dip as one begins to tackle the large variety of martinis, manhattans, beer or wine. The shrimp cocktail was amazing with fresh plumb shrimp served on a bed of ice with a choice of cocktail sauce, horseradish or a cucumber mint. The creamy crab dip with pita chips is a flavorful combination of lump crab, cheese blend with green onions. The luscious lox is a great blend of lox, cream cheese, dill, capers and red onion served with bagel chips and sliced cucumbers. The pistachio martini was on the specials menu which was delicious! Rimmed with crushed pistachios this is a smooth martini for those that enjoy pistachios, one of my favorites!
