The shop as a whole is pretty clean, but it's large and there seems to be no privacy - you literally walk in and out of other people's stations. I went to see Kayla twice, which I gave some consideration to being that she is newly taking paying clients and finished her apprenticeship. I in no way was expecting perfect work. Her work is good. Some of the lines on both tattoos were graying after two weeks and disconnected. A bit of the color shading blew out but not terribly. I dislike that she would touch things with gloves on and than not change them and not all of her equipment was wrapped. So that's definitely something to consider. Especially when touching things without changing gloves you usually want those things wrapped at least. My other issue is going in for a touch up she refused to do a full touch up. She fixed the shaky and disconnected lines, but not the lines where color was faded which is a big part of a touch up. I got different excuses as to why the lines were grey that didn't make sense. Half the lines are grey and half are the dark black they should be. Even looking now again after the touch up a few lines that weren't fully connected we're missed. When going in for a touch up I expect a full touch up mostly because I'm not paying for a touch up so instead of wasting material fix it all in one go but also it's just more of a hassle to go in more than once for a touch up. I support new artists often and usually have much better experiences with newly tattooing people because they want to build clientele. Usually they are more cautious, cleanly, and particular about their work. That wasn't really my experience here. *in the photo you can see which 5 lines were touched up and all the ones that were not and needed to be. Also added my sisters which needed a full touch up but only had a few lines fixed.*
