I had gotten this tattoo done well over a year ago, and it still makes me sick to my stomach every time I look at it. I had so much faith in my artist to provide a tattoo containing the idea I wanted and it complementing my body features. the artist who done it had done multiple tattoos of mine previously and although we didn't talk much the work was exceptional so i kept going back. this tattoo took about 7 hours. AND MIND YOU: the artist from danbury only tattooed the tigers and the sun was previously a red circle. i asked him for a sun and he gave an actual red circle with no contrast or dimension signifying what it is. . i later on got the flowers and sun details added which helped but im still so unhappy and plan on removing everything except the flowers. my arms are super pale and thin so this insanely bold tattoo looks ridiculous. it's my biggest insecurity which is so embarrassing because it's something i PAYED FOR and WANTED. so incredibly disappointed. read more

I came here to get my third piercings in my ear because I'm old and unexciting. The atmosphere is very relaxing and zen, and my piercer was fast and professional. The only thing that annoyed me was that they wouldn't pierce my ears with the actual diamond earrings I brought BUT he said I could switch to them pretty much whenever? Meaning there was no actual problem with me having them in right away - they just wanted to sell me a pair of their sh*tty earrings. So that was a little obnoxious. Man, I was long overdue for another tattoo, but I was so hesitant on getting anything done because it became difficult looking for an artist with the specific style I wanted used. After a long hiatus of not searching, I stumbled across an Instagram story on a friend's page doting a HIGHLY recommended tattoo artist (Jen) she's been going to, and after browsing said artist's page and seeing everything/everyone she's tattooed posted, I knew I wanted my piece done by her. Throughout the entirety of the process, Jen was thorough in everything, whether it was the needles she planned on using, the ink, the after care, how much longer we had left, etc. She made me feel as comfortable as could be while a needle was rapidly puncturing my skin. And the end verdict? Absolutely killer and superbly detailed, more than I was even expecting. I already have other projects in mind and I honestly can't wait to get my next piece done once her books open back up. HIGHLY recommend Jen. read more

Have been to Danbury Tattoo twice now. The first time I went with my younger sister and we both got our belly buttons pierced. The entire experience was reassuring and professional. My sister nearly fainted and ended up throwing up in their sink after she got pierced, and they were nothing but kind and understanding of her nerves. Yesterday, I came back to get my nipples re-pierced and my nose pierced. Jen was incredible throughout the entire process. She talked me through the re-pierce and explained that because I was getting re-pierced it was going to hurt more because of the scar tissue, and said the second nipple would hurt more than the first because I'd lose adrenaline. All of the advice she gave me was great, and the experience was extremely quick and professional. Next time I come back I'm getting a tattoo!! read more

Drove 40 minutes for a consult appointment that could've been done over the phone. Was barely given the time of day while he was tattooing someone else while talking to me. I have been getting tattoos since I turned 18, I know I'm not crazy experienced but I do know the way this business is run is not it. After back and fourth with Jen haulted I had reached out to see if she had anything for my tattoo drawn up a couple days before my appt. keep in mind my previous tattoo through her she charged me for the time she took to draw it. Anyways- she hadn't even remembered what I wanted- so lame. After a couple more messages going unanswered I decided maybe this place is not the best. I posted on my Instagram story & low & behold the most dm's I have ever received came in with similar stories of theses artists leaving scar tissue from piercings & horror stories of messed up & crooked tattoos. I have over 100 messages of them messing peoples tattoos up. As a small business in Danbury I have to say, you are going to run into hate. I have seen some beautiful artwork come out of this place but I'm starting to think they only treat certain people nicely. If you're getting a giant tattoo ($$$$). read more

Very professional nose piercing. The artist used disposable gloves and a pre-packaged, one-use, sterilized needle. The whole thing was over before my daughter could blink. Afterward, though, she felt dizzy (not his fault, of course), and he couldn't have been nicer or more sympathetic. He handled the whole thing patiently and professionally, without embarrassing her. Final thought: I probably should have tipped him for the extra time and care. read more

Pablo did my first ever tattoo which was pretty detailed and he absolutely blew me away with how good he did. Everyone in there was so welcoming and made me feel like a friend. I planned on getting a small forearm tattoo with jazzy and set an appointment three months in advance. The day of I got there 15mins early and ended up waiting 2hrs. I was told when I first got there that she was finishing up two small tattoos and it wouldn't be long. After an hour and a half we were then told that it'll be another 20mins. By the time she came out to actually talk to we decided to leave. After planning this appointment three months in advance I would have expected better from this establishment. read more

I went here to get a specific piercing done which I was naturally nervous about. At first, the person servicing me was very rude and made me uncomfortable which turned me off even more to get that piercing. Disregarding the behavior towards me, I still proceeded to get my piercing done and when I tipped the person helping me very generously, they were all the sudden very nice to me. As for the piercing itself, they did a good job and the tools were 100% sterile. I healed up nicely and didn't have any sort of issues regarding infections. 2 years as a merchant seaman, 4 years in the USN and 30 years later and this is my first tattoo. I wanted a realistic paw print of our beloved dog and Ethan nailed it. I mean seriously nailed. It looks like she put her paw on my arm and it left an image in ink. The shop and staff was great and Ethan is a real artist. This will probably be the only tattoo I ever get. I wanted it to be perfect and it is. I thought the price was really fair too. I completely recommend this business. read more

@ PHILIPE - I feel bad leaving this review as I know multiple people who have gone to other artists here and had great experiences BUT my thigh has been ruined. It was my 18th birthday, I had stopped by the shop multiple times up weeks in advanced to go over what i wanted. By the time the appointment came Philipe had provided me with no sketch, took me into the back, googled "classic rose outline, &printed something off the internet. He Stuck it on my thigh and called it a day. Of course I panicked as it was not what i was looking for but he assured me as a professional artist he was going to add and create. He did not. He fucked up the simple outline so bad that one petal had a line 1/8 inch thick and another had a 1/2 inch thick. Further more I asked for a specific type of shading, and he simply just COLORED IN THE LINES SOLID BLACK. The leaves he had free handed as a "professional artist" were no where NEAR proportion to the flower either. I had to spend close to 600$ on multiple sessions over to fix it the best we could. Long and short please fire this Headass portugese Imbecilie. read more
