Good piercings. Terrible service from the one man with the blue hair in the shop. So unprofessional. Very strange energy, literally asked "do i even want to sell you jewelry." My friends and I weren't even greeted like proper customers. Made my friends and I feel like we were in the wrong place. He made me feel like leaving the whole time. The employees were goofing off like customers weren't in the store, and having full blown conversations while we were looking around at jewelry instead of showing interest in what we were looking for. I had a wonderful experience with my first piercing! The girl at the counter was very nice and informative. The girl who got pierced before me felt woozy but they gave her a free water and checked up on her every couple of minutes until she felt better. I was tended to pretty quick after showing ID and signing a form. The piercing process was quick and painless. They made sure I felt alright afterwards and gave me their card if I had any questions. music was loud so i could barely hear anyone talk and was a bit expensive. I had trouble taking out my piercing the first time i went and after i went to get them changed there those got stuck as well so I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the jewelry? I don't recommend this guy at all! He was on the phone with his airpods the entire time he pierced me and my friend... And because he was distracted piercing my friend, he told her the wrong healing time for her nostril piercing. He said 6 to 8 weeks for a nostril piercing when that's a 3-6 month healing process. I corrected him and then he got all defensive asking me if I'm a piercer. I told him my best friend is and that she did all my other ones. She apprenticed at a tattoo shop and learned the right way. The only reason I really went to him because it was on a whim and he insulted my friend. He said that I should be going to someone who actually knows what they're doing and is licensed in other states like himself. I guess in Connecticut anyone can be a piercer and they don't technically have to learn but my friend did it "the right way" and I don't have any infections or scarring from her. Very cocky guy! He also rushed the entire time for me and my friend. When I usually go to my friend who's a piercer, she sits with you and inspects everything before you're pierced. Check for veins or anything that would make your piercing a bad idea. He did none of that! I got the first and second holes on both lobes and this man straight up lied to my face. I told him how when people have used a gun on my ears in the past that it didn't go well and that I wanted it by needle... He pulls out these cartridge things that are essentially like a little clicker that pushes the earring through. He has a license in two states besides Connecticut to pierce so I trusted him... My ears have been very sensitive for the past two weeks. Luckily no sign of infection. I got it looked at by my regular piercer and she told me that those cartridge things that he used to pierce my ears have the same amount of blunt force trauma as a piercing gun! I begged him to just use a needle and forceps and he assured me that this was safe and legal. That it was the standard... He also didn't have a lot of selection for jewelry. Even though it was all implant grade titanium... I only had two options in regards to what I was going to put in my ears. I have small lobes and this jewelry was way too big! It was actually pressing against my earlobe and leaving an impression on my skin. I went to my regular piercer and she helped me change out my pierces to these little titanium balls. It's been a lot better since then thank God... They wanted $30 for this tiny little bottle of aftercare. And if you're cleaning it twice a day you're going to run out of that aftercare in 2 weeks or less! I also disagreed with his aftercare instructions because the amount of times a day seems like you would be over cleaning it and it wouldn't heal correctly. I took my friend and I to my regular piercer and she inspected the piercings because I was worried. Luckily no signs of major damage but what the heck... I'm going to stick to my regular piercer. read more

I wish I had listened to the reviews. I asked for a forward helix piercing. I explained how I wanted the top of my lobe to be pierced so the piercing would sit nicely and allow me to replace the barbell balls with spikes. I explained thoroughly what I wanted to the woman in the front and the piercer himself. The unprofessionalism at this place was insane to me. First of all, when I was called back into the chair, he was on his phone taking calls. That would not have bothered me but it seemed to take up his time more than his actual job. Second, he used hand sanitizer instead of washing his hands right in front of me and then proceeded to put on his gloves. He leaned down towards the ground to do god knows what and contaminated his gloves that would be touching me. He also made the whole interaction very uncomfortable. I felt like if I had spoken up he would have come at me and got defensive. The piercing process itself was a whole other issue. He marked up my ears and they were not where I thought you would pierce from for a forward helix but since he is a piercer I trusted him. As soon as he pierced me I froze because I felt it go through my ear. Not the top of my ear. He told me quickly "take a deep breath" and that was it. I was very afraid of him and found myself unable to speak up and tell him my piercings were wrong. Then I see the jewelry he's putting into the flat helix piercing I didn't ask for and it's a curved barbell aka daith jewelry. Why on earth would he put a curved barbell on a flat helix piercing? Then they both started to bleed and he wiped them up and just left them to bleed again until I said something about it and he wiped them up again. I thought he could not get any worse but let me tell you. He cleaned my piercings and I felt stinging and told me that he was using alcohol and to never use it on piercings. SO WHY ARE YOU USING IT ON ME? I spent 120+ dollars on two incorrect piercings and for them to become so inflamed and infested within 12 hours. I got home and around 0030 (12:30 am) I had to take out my left helix because the pain was unbearable. It took me two hours to get the ball off and pull my curved bar out of my flat helix piercing. Then my right one was too tight and I couldn't get it out so I had to go to the Milford mall where the wonderful ladies at banter piercing got it out for me and cleaned my piercing out for me for free! Bless them all. I am sticking to Greg at Generation X in Milford! this is insane! read more

*shop response is complete gas lighting, did not address the other issues. Aftercare was followed to a t. Piercer refused to see it and has minors giving medical advice* Do research and go elsewhere . Came here 6 weeks ago for a nose piercing, I arrived at 1, no piercer to be found. Had to wait for him to arrive in his Uber, ok fine so I waited with 2 others who looked annoyed as well. Piercer was not masked, barely said a word and rushed the whole process especially when I had questions. I don't think he even washed his hands, just tossed some gloves on. I followed aftercare and a few days ago noticed a bump forming. I made an appt. with my dermatologist to be safe. I called the shop this morning and asked if the piercer would check it out and the girl said of course so after work I stopped in. Very young girl at counter said to use tea tree oil (doc said DO not use it on a piercing!) also said to crush aspirin (once again, a home remedy that's not safe) . Told her my derm said not to use tea tree oil when I asked, the girl at the counter actually said "well it's a keloid and you should see your doctor, they can cut it off". Go to a reputable piercer who takes the time to train staff on the differences in keloids vs granulomas, infections etc. i asked if he would look at it to see if I was reacting to the jewelry and she said no "this is what we tell people do". Very unprofessional amateur shop. Would not reccomened especially with a teenager giving out home remedies as medical advice. read more
