I was fine with the $115 piece and the $50 cost of the service (although that itself is too pricey for the area) Add a bit on for tax. Tell me why this one piercing is gonna cost me ~$240 instead of $165??? As soon as this was mentioned it felt so scammy. After I've already gotten the piercing done I was then informed that I will have to come back, pay for another backing and pay for another service, and this is mandatory. The backing should be included in the price of the jewelry. If you're going to up-charge, tell the person BEFORE they get the piercing done. $165 was already a very high price for a single piercing with cubic zirconia. To then tack on $75 in hidden fees? So not cool. Could be one of those places that opens up, gets bad reviews, so closes and moves somewhere else to get a fresh slate. Especially since I'm the first reviewer.

I do recommend going here for a piercing but I don't recommend doing any hoop until your piercing is healed because it can effect the tissue in your skin and you don't want to damage anything (just trying to help with an infection as well.). I do like how friendly Kevin was and I will be going back for more piercings!

I called to see if he could change the piercing, he didn't return my call, I went to "Stay True Piercing" in Newington and they were astonished by what the piercer at Transcend did to me. Hi there, I felt the…read moreneed to post a stellar review again after reading a 1 star review on here. Lucky Soul has always provided amazing tattoos, and a clean and super welcoming environment. I have been a client for yearssss and I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by many artists there. You are never "Pawned" on a lesser artist. Everyone that works there is Stellar. Jim and Tracey want nothing but the best for their clients. I appreciate that they are willing to let their other artists take on clientele if they can't be fit into their own schedules. They would never force anyone to get a tattoo with someone else, only offer the choice. No matter who you go to there, you will come out with an amazing piece of art. In fact, I'm going again on Wednesday. I will only go to Lucky Soul and I told my kids they can get tattoos but they have to be done there.

I understand that she has a waiting list and I was willing to wait…read more In the meantime, the tattoo parlor kept trying to pawn me off lesser artists and "walk-in" artists. I felt insulted and told them I don't want them to tattoo me anymore. I'd rather go without the tattoo than be tattooed by someone I don't trust. PS I got a tattoo from Lucky Soul tattoo 11 years ago and they did not operate the way they operate now. Their customer service and frankly respect for their customers has gone down the toilet. PSS 11 years ago when I requested an "in demand artist", I had no problem getting an appointment and I was NEVER pawned off on another artist. This place has such "good" artists (in that they CLAIM they're such good artists) that they think they can treat the customer like cr*p and that we will keep coming back for more. Disgusting. Disreputable. This is NOT how you do business!!!

TLDR: Clean atmosphere; Ron has terrible vibes…read more Ron pierced my back dimples. He made a point to share that he was fasting for a body builder competition and super out of it . He and his wife (the receptionist) were sort of fighting; he was irritable and ill tempered which was very uncomfortable to be around. She was very friendly and warm. First dimple went fine, still have it over a year later. On the second dimple he struggled to anchor it and was digging in my back for several minutes. Also forgot to count me down bc he was conversing with his coworker. I was wincing in pain and he told me to relax and that most of the pain was in my head Most piercers make a comfortable, welcoming, disarming vibe; Ron brought quite the opposite. That piercing never anchored properly and popped out 9 months later. Also, I was accidentally charged double BUT when I called they apologized profusely and immediately corrected it.
