Three people looked at the rings and quoted me $150, and said I could wait until June as it would only take a week. In June, I brought them back and they said, sure, no problem. I got a call later that day saying, they "didn't realize" the rings were platinum and that it would actually be $300. I went back in and said since it was their error that they should honor the price. They were very defensive, saying, well mistakes happen. This is literally their job to know jewelry. Three people saw them and not one thought it might be platinum? The taller man with the glasses said they can't be expected to do it for $150, they would lose money, but they had someone else who could do it for that amount. Ok, fine. Three weeks later, ON MY WEDDING DAY, literally hours after my husband put it on my finger, my wedding band splits in 2. I was devastated. I brought it back the next day, and instead of being apologetic, the same tall man said defensively, well your ring is thin. Seriously??! It's a standard, normal wedding band. He took it and said, I'll have it by Thursday. Again, no real apology by anyone, including the woman or the owner, who were both there. It's appalling. Today is Friday and still no ring. These people do not know what they're doing, and worse, they are plain rude. Stay away if you value your jewelry. UPDATE: The other ring, my custom platinum engagement ring, also broke in half. I will be attempting to collect the money I paid initially, as they have ruined both my wedding band and ring within 2 months. I'm heartbroken.

Within a year, the structural integrity of the work failed: the seam where the ring was cut is now visibly open and physically sharp to the touch. This is a clear case of improper fusing or the use of inferior solder--platinum should be seamlessly welded, not left with a failing joint. When I reached out to resolve this, they admitted the repair would cost over $500 and offered a measly 15% discount. It is predatory to charge $60 to remove a piece of my platinum, then demand over $500 to fix a seam that shouldn't have failed in the first place. I expected this company to stand behind their benchwork, but instead, they are trying to profit off their own technical error. I no longer trust them with my jewelry and suggest others look elsewhere for quality platinum work.
