Spicy Dasher Chicken Sandwich
Ian N.

Spicy Dasher Chicken Sandwich (5/5): The chicken was crunchy and well seasoned with a pretty classic hot sauce flavor. I also loved the caramelized onions and the buttered sourdough toast instead of a normal bun. Very spicy in a good way! Onion Rings (4/5): I could taste the batter a little too much, but they were well fried and crispy. *Get the Mouth Wooed Sour from Resident Culture (across the food hall) if they have it. It was both crisp and creamy with a lot of fruity tartness. I REALLY liked it. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

The fries were beautifully seasoned, crispy and perfectly salty. The sandwich was wonderfully cheesy, melty and crispy to boot.

Mean girl

Food ordering was easy on the phone app. Received my text when it was ready, but the staff member at the register, white female with pink hair, was rude. She scolded me and said she didn't mark it ready yet. It isn't what she said it's how she said it. My order said ready at 12:45. I continued waiting at the pick up spot, and watched her berate several other patrons. Food was great, the vibe is on point as far as the atmosphere, but the girl at the register gives mean girl vibes. Won't matter how good the food is, with her RBF being the first thing you see. Not impressed.

I think these were the BEST wings I've ever had. Came here from the spectrum centre just to grab a bite. I got the garlic Parmesan wings and the peach sweet tea. The wings were actually GF no reaction and the tea was so good. The people that work there were super nice and warm. I would like to come back soon to try the tacos. My friends had the lemonade and Spicy chicken melt (it's super spicy so beware.) but they loved their meal as well. The people were super nice and I am so glad that the food matched their vibe. 10/10/10

Good and Fast! Located the the 7th Street Market and they do validate your parking ticket if you use the garage We opted for the mushy melt which is grilled shrooms; arugula; grilled onions and goat cheese on a crusty sourdough bread! Here is what I liked everything but it had too much goat cheese for my taste - it tasted more like goat cheese sammy with a few mushrooms but still overall it was good. Next time I would ask for a lighter spread of the goat cheese possibly eliminating all together. The fries were hand-cut n fried fresh as were the onion rings in an ever so light batter! The staff/owners are very friendly! One warning if you try to call in an order - DON'T lol no one ever picks up!

I finally got to try Mad Dash after waiting for forever lol! I was so excited they moved to the Market at 7th Street. I stopped by during Eat BLK CLT Festival and ordered their mambo wings and fries. Both were really good! I definitely want to come back and try a few other menu items for sure. They were super busy so the food took a while to come out. I love that the garage attached to the market validates for 90 minutes. That's always a win while Uptown. There's plenty of tables and seating inside the market too. Looking forward to checking them out again soon.

Located in the bustling 7th Street Market, Mad Dash has a relatively small menu that is packed with different flavors. Burgers, street tacos, loaded fries, you could describe them as a local elevated fast food joint. Most recently I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the Dasher Chicken Sandwich with a side of onion rings. Made for a great lunch! If you don't feel like stopping by the market they also partner with Uber eats to deliver, so next time you're tempted to door dash some McDonald's maybe try supporting this local gem instead.

This resturaunt is in a food hall. It's the second resturaunt in the right. Parking is validated for 2hrs (talk to person at register concerning your ticket) The person at the register provided great service. We had the mad patty melt with onion rings. The patty melt was juicy and flavorful (wish it had American cheese instead if cheddar) the onion needed some seasoning. We also had a pomegranate lemonade (very sweet) Other than that I would definitely come back.

A year later and I stand by my review. Tried the burger, and it was HUGE and seasoned well on a thick, soft roll. It had to be a half pound burger cooked to perfection. I thought it was going to be dry, but it was moist. I did add onion and mustard. The onion rings were thick and crispy, too. It was a delectable bite.

While visiting uptown we decided to stop at 7th street market for the variety of food options. I chose Mad Dash and I was impressed. The food was delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich for me and it was so crispy I even kept the pickles on my sandwich which I typically remove but these were so crunchy I chose to keep them on. The inside was perfect on the sandwich just the right amount of juicy. The fries were nice and crispy I had to rub some salt off but other than that they were good. My little ones enjoyed the wings and fries I order for them. I look forward to giving this place another try.

The Dasher Chicken Sandwich

The Dasher might be the best fried chicken sando in Charlotte and, if it's not, it's at least top 5. Great service and quality food a price you can't beat. I appreciate what Chef Corey is doing in the kitchen and the fresh onion rings were enough to make me contemplate slapping my mama. But, I wanted to live another day, so I just enjoyed every bit of my food instead. Don't walk. Run! He has other items on his menu that I can't wait to try...like his wings. They've gotta be winners too!

Mad Dash offers some solid sliders with great flavor, but the bread-to-filling ratio could use a tweak--the bread is a bit too thick, overshadowing the juicy goodness inside. That said, the quality is still there, and it's worth a try if you're in the mood for a quick bite!

Rachel P.

When I tell you that this is one of the best chicken sandwiches that I have ever had, I mean it. It was SO good. The fries were also great and I ate every single one of them. If I'm back in Charlotte, this sandwich is a must for me to get again!

He was attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. His service was quick, professional, and welcoming, which really stood out and made us feel taken care of the whole time. It is rare to have a server who brings such a positive energy to the table, and Orhan definitely did that. I ordered the Burrito Basico with steak, and it was amazing. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the burrito itself was packed with fresh ingredients that all blended together so well. Every bite was full of flavor, and the portion size was more than worth it. Between the delicious food and Orhan's outstanding service, this was an excellent experience overall. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend asking for Orhan.

Our server did everything we asked and Moore to make sure we had an excellent experience. Now for the food. We started with a trio, appetizer of queso, guacamole, salsa. All absolutely outstanding. Then my wife and I split the chicken enchiladas with the green sauce. One of the best we've ever had. What was really outstanding? Was this cheesy rice side dish. Unexpected and absolutely delicious.

I ordered two tacos, one chicken, one steak. I feel like all street tacos should come wrapped in foil for the 'experience' but then I'd imagine the restaurant would have to charge the true price of $2.50-$3 a taco, what I feel they're worth. I do think the price was a bit much considering what I ordered but it wasn't terrible. I would appreciate fresh house made corn tortillas vs hard store bought ones but it's charlotte after all. And what's with the one tortilla? True Cali tacos come with two tortillas. The chicken taco was greasy and the loose guacamole wasn't able to absorb into the hard tortilla. It was messy! However, I'd order the steak taco again. I loved the pickled onions on the side, they were a nice addition to the steak. Not really a southern Cali thing but a nice twist I enjoyed. Overall, I'd try them again on payday .

I ordered the carne asada and was genuinely excited, but it was a letdown from the start. They never asked how I wanted the steak cooked, which is a huge mistake. Then they covered the steak in cheese--why? That completely overpowered everything. I couldn't even taste the chimichurri. A suggestion: grill the steak properly and serve it simply. If you need cast iron, use a skillet--not a cast iron bowl. Don't drown it in cheese, and please don't cut my steak for me. I'm a grown adult and can handle that myself. On the positive side, the service was on point--our waitress was amazing. The inside was clean and had a kind‑of Mexican vibe going on.

Que Fresca is a fast and fun experience. They have 2 counters - one for food and one for drinks…read more You walk up to the counter and order. We got two Burrito Fresas (one grilled chicken and one chicken tinga). The burritos had the COOLEST crunchy cheese coating on the tortilla that the hugs all of the ingredients inside the burrito. Both the grilled chicken and the chicken tinga were phenomenal. We truly could not decide who the "winner" was because they were both so flavorful. Now, to talk about the other fun part!!! SORBET MARGARITAS! I'm obsessed. I had initially seen Que Fresca on social media, specifically for the soft serve margs. And let me tell you - they did nit disappoint. They have two flavors - strawberry and lemon (and then you can do a swirl). They were SO refreshing and delightful!! It was such a fun way to ~eat~ a margarita! All of the staff were friendly and very quick. The restaurant is well laid out and I love that it had TVs to watch all the games. The idea is that place your order, pick a seat and your order is delivered to you. We picked our seats at the bar first because it was pretty packed for Friday night. We took our time to browse the menu but we knew we'd be getting the IG viral Sorbet flights we'd seen. Now on first attempt we got our food, it was completely cold. We informed one of the waiters and asked for our meals to be remade. So upon getting my food second time: 1 Birria Taco, 1 Chips and Queso and 1 Chicken Tinga, it was warm. The Birria taco was my favorite as the chicken didn't hold too much flavor for me. Now we ordered 2 Sorbet flights. We didn't get them as advertised.. no rim coating and the flavor offerings were duplicated. As we compared what we got from other patrons we saw what was missing and the flavor differences. Overall our meal and drinks were underwhelming and we let the staff and manager on hand know. She apologized for not making our Sorbets with rim coating and the food mishap. As guest of NC for the weekend, our host told us we'd gone to the wrong location.
