We came in on a Friday night. Grabbed a seat at the bar since all tables were full. The bartender…read morewas attentive and friendly. Two at our table got the perch fish fry, I got the grilled cheese on sourdough with tomato soup and the fourth got the salmon salad. The perch was very good. The rest of the plate was just ok. The fries weren't super hot and since they were under the fish they didn't have much crisp to them. My grilled cheese was the disappointing one. I don't believe it was actually sourdough - seemed more like white bread, however that could be because it wasn't crispy at all. It seemed as if it maybe hit the grill for 10 seconds. The soup was hot and was ok. The salmon salad was good. I think we all agreed that we would give it another chance because everything was ok and the people were so friendly.

The challenges is that it is rare to find vegetarian food on most Wisconsin menus, unless it is full of cheese and deep-fried. My review of this place would've been better, if I would've had some more options to eat. Even their tomato soup is made with a chicken stock, which rules it out. You can make a good tasting tomato soup with a vegetable stock. The restaurant itself is very cute. Decent selection of beers. The appetizers we ordered were fine. I ordered the fish tacos and was a bit disappointed. It didn't help that I had eaten fish tacos at a fantastic Mexican restaurant the day before and these were kind of mediocre. They were served in tough flour tortillas and they just didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, it was an OK experience. The rest of my group really did like their food. I would say that probably a nice bar for most people, but for vegetarians not so much.

I like this place. I also think 4.5 stars is a good rating; however, since the people at Yelp don't…read morebelieve in half stars, I'll round up. Looking like a neighborhood bar, albeit one with a Star Wars theme (if you are into that sort of thing), this place came highly recommended. I got there just before it got packed. I was promptly greeted, grabbed a seat at the bar and soon had a drink in front of me (full bar). Several things looked good both on the menu and in the kitchen (which is open for viewing). I ordered a cheesesteak (when in Rome) and an order of cheese curds. Both came well prepared and hot. The curds were great. Definitely enough in an order for two. The sandwich was packed and tasted fantastic. Leaving, I definitely was full. Would I go back? Definitely! I've already told some friends and the experience and have encouraged them to check it out.

For me, not enough pickle, too much cheese and wonton. I do think the wasabi ranch was special though. Fries were great hot, but got cold quickly. Service is where it lost a star. They did their best, totally absolutely. And also, it took us 2 hours for dinner. We put our name on the list at 6:24pm. Because of limited space we waited in the car. We're quoted 45-60 mins. Came back in around 7:15/7:20 and they said oh good, next table is yours! Then proceeded to seat 3 large party tables. We got bar seating. Which is fine. Except then the party food went in. We didn't get our food until closer to 8pm. We ordered the pickle fries as an appetizer and there was quite a dramatic wait between app and entree. All in all, the food was worth it. But avoid the Saturday night before an NFL game at 6:30pm for dinner, imo

My friend ordered the Cubano sandwich and loved it, and another friend had the avocado toast with egg salad on sourdough, which was thoughtful, fresh, and elevated far beyond the usual café fare. The service was amazing...warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This is way above average, intentional food made by people who truly care. Easily a must-stop in Door County.

Very cute place with some really interesting food with lots of vegetarian options but also lots of meat based dishes as well. I tried the Banh Mi and it was amazing. Its 5-spice marinated grilled pork, pickled daikon & carrot, cilantro, cucumber, Sriracha-lime mayo, on rustic roll. Lots of flavor and the pork was very tender and had great flavor. I also tried the soup of the day which was smoked ham with mushrooms and was very full of flavor. My wife ordered an Asian bowl with tofu and it was loaded with tons of fresh vegetables in a spicy asian broth. She loved it and it was served warm and was a huge serving. Very nice find and can't wait to go back in the Summer to check out the patio and the breakfast options.
