Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

I got a box of a dozen cookies for my birthday and the packaging was amazing - came in a baby pink box that said happy birthday on it. I would recommend for anybody who wants to deliver a present to someone for birthday, anniv, congrats or even just thinking about you. The cookies were so tastey and gooey. At first, you're like "that's a huge cookie" then you sit down and read a book or watch a show and then bam! you've finished it. Trust me, I have tasted cookies that look similar that after a few bites you're over it.. but not Mad Batter's! This is the type you crave. There was something so warm and gracious about the way she did it--no fuss, just a little kindness offered to a customer. Those moments are rare, and sometimes the smallest gesture can completely change your day. This one certainly changed mine. I hope no one gets in trouble over my cup of coffee!
