The Macy's located in Pearland Town Center is smaller than other locations, but they make up for it in Customer Service. Everyone at this location is helpful, friendly and professional. They go over and above to provide an excellent customer experience. Bambi is one of their better sales associates, although I've never received bad service at this location. If they do not have it in stock, they will arrange to have it shipped to your home in a few days. read more

I was looking for a specific matte lip color at MAC and I wasn't getting much help so I walked over to the Impulse counter to check out their spread. Shani immediately approached me and asked if I needed help. I told her what I was looking for and showed her the shade online. She came back with a couple options - the first one was not quite what I wanted and I thought the second one was a definite no-go just by looking at the color; but, Shani encouraged me to try it on and she was so right! It was the exact color and texture that i was looking for and I was ready to finish my purchase. But, since Shani apparently has the perfect eye for makeup and tones, I asked her to help me pick out a full coverage foundation for my oily skin. Once again, she found the perfect match for me - a Tarte foundation. I purchased both items and a 'must have' lip primer that she told me I needed. I don't mind spending money on good makeup but when you have experienced and supremely helpful representatives like this working the makeup counter, it makes the customer more confident about their purchase. I wore my make-up out that same night and got several compliments and everything stayed in place - even with the rain and humidity. The MAC counter not helpful at all. Not knowledgeable. Went there to buy a 130.00 eye cream at the Elizabeth Arden counter and no one wanted to help me. They were all to busy sitting around joking. Staff is very disrespectful. The only reason for a 2 star is because a couple of weeks before I went and bought a Michael Kors purse and that girl was very nice and helpful. The rest of the departments they need to clean up and out. read more

I really like this Macy's. It is clean and sparkly and the sales people are helpful and pleasant. The company could and should hire more cashiers during holidays when they get overwhelmed by volume. I brought my elderly neighbor here two days ago and the sales girl (sorry I did not get her name) in Ladies suits was very helpful and patient. It is well worth driving a little further to Pearland Town Mall to avoid the traffic and parking nightmare of Baybrook Mall on I45. The store is a little smaller, does not have furniture, drapes etc. and is mostly clothing, but I like that, it makes for a more comfortable shopping experience. On the whole I would say that the sales staff goes out of their way to be helpful. And they did not try to sell my friend a credit card. read more

This location looks like its going out of business. Every time I go to this particular Macy's I can never find anyone to help me and then the floors and stock are empty. I don't know how they expect this store to stay open not having sales people on the floor to ring someone up and having such an empty floor with hardly any merchandise. Its convenient for just going in for one item but if I need to do some serious shopping Sugarland is the store I will drive to for the extra mile. read more

i had the worsw experience here at the makeup store impulse! the associate, i believe her name is carla absolutely hates her job and life. she snatched makeup from my hand immediately after i picked it up and asked if i wanted to purchase it. while ringing in my sale she was rolling her eyes, making rude comments about me swiping my card before she was ready! she had the worse attitude in reatal history! i will never ever ever go back in there!! read more

I always Shop here in the Cosmetic Section and MOST of the girls that work in the area arent really knowledgeable about the line they work for and seem a bit boring... but I have NEVER had an encounter with anyone like Dria in LANCOME shes absolutely amazing and actually knew what she was talking about! She gave me and my sister lots of tips&tricks when it came down to basic makeup skills and makeup allusions ! Shes so nice and sweet its funny because MAC cosmetics is literally 2Steps away from Lancome and when I saw her makeup and her in "ALL BLACK" i Assumed that she worked at MAC. Macy's in Pearland RE: Mac Counter I visited this store today on a whim as usual to stock up on some basic items that I use regularly. This location is usually overly busy or it's completely dead as far as the MAC counter goes. My experience today was ridiculous. While I am a very patient person, I spent 99% of my time today waiting on a makeup artist to acknowledge me and ask if I need help. Everyone seem preoccupied with their own thoughts, customers, and personal agendas. I only needed three items and could've been out of that location in all of two minutes if I was even acknowledged by the rude staff. I then realized why I never come to this location and why I do go to the location in Rice Village as they are friendly, and can obviously multitask. As a regular at the MAC counter this was grossly irritating and this could be a reason why they don't get more customers as people walked away quite often. No one ever stayed at the register to even acknowledge the long line or say "thanks for waiting". The artists would check out their customers and then leave to do something else. By the time someone did approach me, there was a line of five people who needed to grab their usual things too. Why isn't there just one person who can help grab quick things and check people out? After I stood at the register and was acknowledged, I asked for my three items only to find out that the sales associate didn't even know what item I was referring to which was clearly ON DISPLAY. I then had to walk her over to the display to show her what the item even was. She was clearly aloof and knew nothing of it. The product that I actually needed wasn't in the general area and "may be in the back room", after five minutes of searching, I was then told " we don't have it". I was never offered the chance to see if it was at another location or mall. Pearland MAC, please work on your multitasking, customer service skills, and overall manners. When I go to spend hundreds of dollars on makeup, I expect a bit more service from the staff and so did the other ladies in line as well. This place was a lot friendlier and helpful before they widened the section and added more products and artists. Leaving this location in constant disappointment will no longer be an issue for me. You are losing to Sephora real bad and real fast. read more

I am at Macy's at least once a week shopping for my kids or husband! It's small but most of the time I go in I find what I'm looking for. Also the ladies in the beauty section are awesome! They are extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the items I asked about! So overall it's a nice place to shop & I can't beat it being in my backyard :) read more

ONLY AT MACY'S PEARLAND!!! I went to shop for Michael Kors bag to treat myself for Christmas. I was looking on this bag and the SA from the counter looked at me and told her I need assistance. The SA didn't approach me instead she talked to me from the counter to where I was standing and yelled "DO YOU WANT TO SEE IT OR DO YOU WANT TO BUY IT?" It made me so uncomfortable and felt like I was wasting her time. She left to get a new bag from the back. She got back with the bag and asked me to swipe my card for the payment. While she's doing the transaction I asked her if the bag is made of a real leather. She told me she don't know because she's not a Michael kor's bag fanatic she prefers Coach or Dooney Bourke bag. She checked the inside of the bag and showed me the tag that says made from genuine leather. I think she did that just to answer my question. After I paid for the bag, she left again to take off the security tag. When she cameback she asked me if I paid for it already. I said I did swiped my card and saw that my transaction went through. She asked me about the receipt and I told her she didn't give me any receipt because she left after I swiped my card. I told her I got an email that my card was debited and got the email receipt from macy's too. I showed her the email because she kept asking me if I'm sure because she don't want any problems later. She made my shopping the worst experience I have ever had. I ended up returning the bag in other Macy's store branch at the Galleria and repurchase a different Michael kors bag from a different SA who's more helpful and friendly. read more
