I had scheduled an appointment in advanced online. Where I can select from "avaliable"…read moreappointments. I made my appointment on 6/30 at 5:15. When i arrived early. Waited about 10 mins to check in which wasn't a big deal. The lady during that shift was utterly rude. Ignored customers. Lacked skills to handle situations. I had told her my appointment time she said it wasn't in her system and then I showed her my confirmation text message. She found my appointment and told me I was double booked. She refused to see me that day. Although I had booked the appointment a week in advanced. She was rude about it too with her facial expressions and tone. Aswell as misgendering the customer next to me. I told her I would leave and go somewhere else. Later today I recieved a text message stating I "missed " my appointment. When in reality I was refused to be seen. I took the afternoon off of work. So not only was it a waste of my time. I lost my money. Ever since the previous staff left the current staff does not know how to handle insurances, handle money, makes errors and have zero communication skills. All in all they should retrain their employees or hire ones that are experienced. That being said my family which have been going here for about almost 10 years will not be returning to this establishment. And if anyone were to ask about this location I would say go drive the extra 15 mins and go to arlighton hieghts. This location has gone down hill for the last 3 years.

Quick service, very friendly. Even offered to help me adjust an old pair of glasses! Would return.read more

He said he'd be more than happy to refund my money as soon as I brought the receipt back I was a little worried I didn't have it but thank God I did meanwhile knowing that I had purchased two more pairs and spent about another $700.00 for the two new ones knowing that I was returning the Prada sunglasses. I am a disabled veteran and in a wheelchair so when my helper came today, we went to woodfield I could see the look in her face as we were coming up to the desk of discussed with me being in a wheelchair. People in wheelchair know exactly what I'm talking about. She immediately caught an attitude with me when I told her what was going on and that I would like to return these and get a refund that I had already purchased two other ones that I was even wearing a pair today she pulled them out immediately started saying I'm not taking these back. There are (destroyed) their damage their beyond Repair! They're all scratched up like they were run through a disposal. She kept saying over and over again! I had two of asked her at least 20 times for her supervisor's name and phone number and she refused then kept asking for the store manager she refused LOL. she finally said she was going to call security. I do have all of this on my phone video as Well. Two nice ladies from Macys showed up Not Security and took a look at my sunglasses together, They very cheerfully looked over the sunglasses, including the case, and kind of giggled, saying there was not one scratch on them. They could not see anything not even a small smudge there was nothing wrong with them whatsoever! That they were fine, She also told me since the sunglass hut is a private business and they rent this spot from Macys . and said that was nothing they could do which was fine I just wanted the mirror to document and to see that in fact that there was clearly nothing wrong with these glasses, and at this lady was definitely biased against me and that the sunglasses were just fine which they were then she started to change her tune and say well I will give her a exchange and she can buy more sunglasses! I SAID NO! that is not what it states on their refund policy and there is no reason why I should not have gotten my full refund. She did not even want to give me her manager's name, let alone hers and she made it very clear that all of her employees will be notified that they are not to take any returns from the lady in the wheelchair!

Thank you, Filippa and David!…read more I was trying to replace an old arm on my glasses, and I couldn't get the screw back in. I tried for an hour, no success. I finally called this store on Higgins Rd, and asked for help. David answered the phone and told me to come in. I drove up, and the parking lot was fairly full for a Saturday, so I was expecting to have to wait. I walked in, looked around, and then I heard a voice saying, "are you here for the repair?". And there was Filippa, just as pleasant and as friendly as if I was family! I explained my situation, and she gently took my glasses and arm and said she'd be back (estimated wait time between 2 and 20 minutes was what she told me). I sat down and waited, literally under 5 minutes, and here comes Filippa with my glasses, arm neatly replaced! Cleaned and everything! She explained that the spring arms are tricky, but that she was able to get it back on without any problems. She also said that there is no charge for repairs, and let me tell you, I will be back for my next pair of glasses when this one goes! Filippa and David are a great team and are clearly committed to a high level of customer service for all their customers, new and old. They know how to manage a busy shop, including me as a walk-in, and were professional, courteous, and caring to all. You both saved the day for me, truly. I take care of my Mom full-time, and I did NOT have time for a broken arm on my glasses! THANK YOU BOTH AGAIN!!

I wanted to take advantage of the $40 sale for glasses due I don't have vision insurance and I'm on…read moredisability. I went in a 1st time to check frames and I found one I liked. I made my appointment to come back a 2nd time. I went back to have my eye exam and placed order. I waited 3 weeks and I was told the store had made a mistake on my glasses and they had been returned to the lab. I waited 2 more weeks. I went in a 3rd time to pick them up and that wasn't my frame and they had a very ugly huge rubber covering all frame legs. Horrible! I asked if that could be removed and I was told nope. I called the lab and I was told they thought it was a frame for children and they put that for safety for the child. I was in shock how ugly and after 5 weeks waiting. I was in a hurry and I have a health condition and I can't be inside that kind of places for long without health symptoms so I left after minutes not having anything solved. I called right after and I was told only option was to come back to store to choose a new frame or get money back. I said I will come back after holidays because the high level of scent in the air and all crowded in December for holiday shopping. This is a serious health hazard for me. I called and explained my health condition to see if they could accommodate me. In summary, they told me that rubber thing couldn't; be removed, they do not have any small oval frames and not metal. They do not have and they will never have metal frames. I was in shock so we discussed how it this possible...we are in February and they refused to work with me and told me that manufacturer has only 30 days to redo glasses and this is already beyond timed what clearly it is not my fault. Also they had some staff in October when I went first time who lost my frame and just ordered anything. Then in December the staff was gone, they had been fired or something. The boss in December is different than the boss now in February. The turnover of workers is also amazing, the lack of frame possibilities, the hard to have their mistakes fixed, not good customer service and so hard to work with them with my disability. Zero compassion. Please stay away. The stress and time I have invested trying to get my classes was not worth it just to finish having my money back after 5 months of trying. , they believe that a metal frame is not metal if the edges have plastic and make it so hard to understand that the frame is still metal. Very stressful experience to end up with no glasses.
