Just really unprofessional. I wound up ordering glasses and desperately chose a frame I wasn't even crazy about- had to challenge the ridiculous price also. I decided the next day to cancel and find something elsewhere (considering the cost of progressives I wanted something I really liked). Go to another eye doctor and they learn that VSP said I used my frame benefit. So this office never cancelled w my insurance company- which I'm sure they were paid for. I had to call and tell them To call VSP so I got my benefit back. Went to pick up new glasses yesterday and come to find Langner gave them wrong prescription. now I have to have my computer glasses remade. No wonder why she's leaving the profession. Just a bitter unprofessional optometrist.

When I bought my new eyeglasses online, they told me the glasses can be adjust from any optometry office. I had mine adjusted at another optometry (will leave review later) but when I asked about it here, they said they don't do it here. It must be done by the same place where you buy your glasses. They fixed my glasses anyway. And now for the prescription... I try ordering another new pair online. It is just a lot more affordable than buying them at the eye clinic, although they seem to have good selections, good styles. I decide I would rather save money and buy it online. It is VERY hard to enter the prescription information onto my new order. This eye doctor does not give you PD (some eyeglasses company will need that) and I cannot seem to match the information given on prescription to the information they're looking for. And I do not think the optometrist wants to help me get the eyeglasses online because of course, he does not recommend buying low-cost eyeglasses online. In order to have his help or adjustment, you have to buy the expensive eyeglasses directly from the clinic. Update: I messaged the office to solve the issue with my prescription. Customer service can take a few days, not really respond within a day or two. BUT the optometrist clarified the issue with my prescription. I get it now.

I called our big box eye Dr and they were no help. Their only option was to send it out here which could take 3-5 days to arrive ...,He just couldn't walk around basically blind for 3-5 business days. I called a bunch of optometrist and these guys were the only ones who could help us. And to top it off they were friendly, accurate, and had us in and out in a short amount of time. Hannah was an absolute delight: knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely personable. I was also really impressed with the technology Dr. Sayed uses. They take detailed images of your eyeball so you can actually see what's going on, which was incredibly reassuring for me after having an eye issue a few years ago. Being able to visually confirm that everything looks good gave me real peace of mind. Dr. Sayed herself was funny, knowledgeable, and made me feel good about being there and taking care of myself. It's like filling a job application and want to know everything. Also, it would be easier to choose glasses in the men's and women's section not all mixed. I also didn't like that I had to pay for an extended warranty and if they brake I still have to pay a percentage of it. Usually the frame has a one year warranty. Then they show you options for glare, blue light, and transition and there's a great, a good, and a okay one. I just wasn't too happy with this but I have learned and next time check different places and get quotes before choosing a place.

I was so happy the way they turned out, I decided to have another pair made into sunglasses. Once again, Dr. Vitale and staff did an amazing job fitting another twenty five year old pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers (tortoise frames) with prescription "transition" lenses. In the past year, I've had Dr. Vitale's office transform four pairs of regular sunglasses into prescription sunglasses, including an expensive pair of Harley sunglasses, and, another twenty five year old pair of Ray-Ban wraps (tortoise biker frames) All four pairs work great while riding too! In case you're wondering about the twenty five year old Ray-Bans, back then a good friend was the Chicago rep for Ray-Ban, and GAVE samples of whatever I liked. Ugh, that time of the year, renewal of the contact prescription. Truth be told, its been three…read moreyears since my last eye exam and about a year since I last wore contacts. I've worn them since I was 14 but the combo of a stigmatism and a high prescription means they cost a pretty penny. I made my appointment online for 5:40 pm. I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out a little paperwork. I was taken in back around 5:50 and the woman was very nice and apologized for the wait. I'm used to waiting over 30 minutes so 10 minutes was nothing. Everything was great, easy, and quick. The doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. What I really liked, they had a trial pair for me in stock. This never happens. I always have to wait a week for them to be ordered and then wear them for a week and then another follow up. Not this time. Doctor checked my eyes and the fit and I was ready to go. Now the dreaded part, finding out how much these suckers are going to cost. I was up front and said the best price I have gotten is from Costco so I may need to take the script and check around. That's when I hear the magic words, "We will price match." Costco was 40 dollars cheaper and they matched it and gave me the 10 percent off for the eye care club (for 99 dollars its free exams for 3 years and 10 percent off contacts and glasses) I am really happy they opened up and will definitely be back.

But the prescription I need doesn't qualify.. or so I was told. Picked up my glasses as expected. Tried for three days to adjust to using them. It resulted in headaches and blurry vision. Upon return, they spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to correct it. Second pair is better, but not great. There doesn't appear to be a blue light coating, but they insist it is there. Customer service is not the greatest. They prefer to just hand you the glasses and send you on your way. I had to ask if I could test them before leaving the store.
