I went recently to buy something for myself and my daughter. I was in SHOCK how disorganized and dirty the store was. I know this has never been the "best" Macy's in Miami, but it was always so convenient for me due to location. Now it's not even worth it. The clothes in the women section was a mess... After 5 minutes I left that dept. and went to the shoe sect. Another mistake... SHOES EVERYWHERE!!! And the bathrooms... Absolutely disgusting. The only half way decent section was the kids.. I got some good deals for my daughter on some clothes. There was a lady willing to help me and check all the prices on the "Sale" rack. It was a bit of a mess, but not as bad as the other ones. Lesson learned.... Go to the one in Dadeland, not worn it! Much more organized and clean!!!! read more

The store at the Intl Mall in Miami is a zoo. Messy shoe section with extremely few employees to help you out. The employees at the cashier are performing dual functions - receiving payments AND getting the shoes for customer to try on. This creates a huge line and a really long wait time for the customers. Also, the store manager should train the employees on how to proceed with the "scan & pay" feature. They encourage the customers to do it so we can save time during checkout but, when we are ready at the checkout, the cashier doesn't know what to do. Shame on the Macy's at the International Mall!!! Management should be changed immediately!!!! read more

Received a shoes as a gift with a macys receipt, turns out they were from the finish line inside macys. The back of the receipt says returns accepted within 90 days. I needed to exchange the size of the shoes for a smaller size. Receipt in hand it had been 63 days since purchase day. According to the rude employee from finish line their return policy is 45 days. Nowhere in the receipt does it say 45 days. I showed him the receipt, he read it and pretty much said " too bad" . I asked to speak to a manager, no manager was present. Never ever ever buying there again. If I ever get a gift from there again I will be sure to return get my money back and go buy somewhere else! Terrible service they need to have their own receipts with their own return policy. read more

I have had an unsatisfactory experience with the furniture section of Macy's. The mattress I bought was way too hard when it was delivered. It was not want I selected when originally shopping. I could not sleep adequately for a month. I was told three different conflicting stories about their return policy. I nearly lost the opportunity to return the mattress without a severe penalty. Thank goodness I came into the store to process the return because the return period kept changing. I must pay a 15% usage fee even though the mattress was never removed from its plastic cover. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow me to process the exchange by phone or internet, another inconvenience and another reason I won't buy furniture from Macy's again. Lastly, the sales associate gave me instructions to inspect the mattress cover to be delivered by the movers. Instead of contacting the movers to ensure they delivered the proper cover, Macy's made it my responsibility and then chastised me for not doing so. Instead of correcting a chronic problem with their movers, they shift the burden onto the consumer. Unacceptable. read more

The worst costumer services I have received in my whole life were given to me in the jewelry department, two girls super rude, I have never received a costumer services so bad, so unprofessional. I think Macy's should choose its employees better, every day I buy less at Macy's because of its bad costumer services. read more

Never thought I was going to be dissected, set aside, profiled so obvious and even worst when it comes from your own race and ethnic group, I know I don't look (Hispanic enough) but for those who don't know yet ,there are BLACK HISPANICS TOO! Despite the popular assumption ( ohh are you Dominican?) it seems like they are the only nation not feeling shame to be call black or African descender . Just an introduction , I decided to go buy a suite and after trying many suits and run around the attendant for quite a long time I was ignored several times by him , he was helpful and polite to those who came long time after me , he stepped out of the register and showed them the merchandise, I thought he missed me at first, but then another couple came by and got help and another customer.. sooner I realized that Macy's , the men's department and that associate, wasn't going to ruin my Christmas shopping, I left , head to another retailer The men's wear house where I was helped right away ,everybody great me ! I was shocked! Macy's definitely have to do a better job when hiring an associate, not everyone looks the same but despite the way we look we deserve to be treated the same , it hurts even more when you're a Hispanic and you're being treated unfairly by your own race . read more

Today, around noon, I was waiting for check out a blouse for my wife, the cashier Wendy was taking excessive time with a customer ignoring absolutely my presence and another customer in the line, the bottom line was when the cashier Wendy and the customer started another conversation about people they knew. I went to check out in another register. Very bad customer service read more

The manager of the Nike department has a power trip problem and is super rude. I got home and noticed there were smudge marks on a jacket I bought, tag was still on and she told me she didn't sell it to me like that when it was over 5 days before that. I guess she's the Macy's God and remembers every single transaction. Can't believe I lost $80 to a multi-million dollar company because the Macy's police is on a power trip. read more

Smaller and less varied than its nearby locations, this specific spot has been on my list of " Please, try to make it happen" spots. I have tried so many times and come out frustrated and empty-handed. Whether it's a pair of shoes, swimsuit, evening dress, or just a pair of jeans that I'm searching for- it never is fully concluded at this location. I come here to avoid the masses of Dolphin and the distance of Dadeland but usually end up driving there the next day on the search for my items. If you're coming for makeup, it's perfect. You can park in the corner, and drive off with your mascara within 15 minutes from car to register. If you're searching for a specialty item, you might want to head a bit further south to the other locations. If you need to make a quick return and want to avoid the masses of the nearby malls, this spot is your savior. Other than that, the racks are messy and unorganized and the staff don't willingly help you as much. I went to the restroom and saw a dead roach for crying out loud- it was a bit startling to see how a fine department store had dwindled down to the state that Macy's is in. Again, for mascara- it's ideal. Other that that, I would press skip. read more

I love this Macy's for the selection of closthing they have for men. they constantly have great prices if you are looking for suits I always suggest them. I've been able to pick up everything for some inexpesive CK or MK to higher end Hugo Boss suits all at great prices and they pretty much always do an addition 20%-30% off at the register for even greater savings. Though I have to say thier staf is less than helpful for the most part. While I appreciate that they do speak English some are pushy and other out right rude if they atend you at all. Overall I recmend this place if you know what your buying. Get in and get out. Or find a person that is nice to take care of you and go to them every time like I do. read more

Oh Macy's, what has happened to you?! I use to live in this Macy's. Not the service has gone down the drain! The place is an absolute mess! I mean it's starting to remind me of a tj maxx. There's no organization whats so ever! read more

Went here with a friend of mine. I work really close by & during the holidays we were shopping for a gift for her daughter. Since she's lost her makeup bag, I suggested we look in cosmetics. Unfortunately, Milla at the cosmetics counter told us we couldn't leave the cosmetics department with merchandise. I can understand if she thought she was going to lose the sale but I feel like what she said was so untrue and by saying so she was rude and unprofessional. Shoes, juniors, handbags allows you to leave the department with stuff. (It's hard enough finding someone that speaks English there.) I will be going to Sephora for all my makeup needs while I'm in Miami International Mall from now on. read more

This Macys has gotten way down hill from back in the day, the employees ignore you, are talking amongst themselves, dont speak english and the service has been overall the worst. I just drive a little more and go to the Macys in Dadeland or the Falls! Its a shame a company such as Macys would not attend to their staff and have this kind of behavior going on in their store! read more

I had to write a second letter on how thankful Iam to the 2 ladies working at the fragrance counter. Her name was Graciela I think she worked as a vendor and Joyce Ortiz very sweet and helpful I just flew in from NY and I wanted to get my mother fragrance since I didn't have time to go in NY! Joyce and Graciela were very helpful in choosing the right fragrance. Joyce's customer service was beyond great i end up buying one for myself too. Thank you ladies I will be coming back! read more

I opened a bridal registry at Macy's at my mother's request. Bad idea. What a hassle these people are. Rarely did I get what I needed. Either I got the wrong item, or I got duplicates, or the product was missing! Yes MISSING. Empty boxes. Then when I went to return them, the employee made a comment that I or the person who gifted that to me stole it. Everything was a hassle to return and the employees were not very friendly either. I'm so glad my wedding is over so I don't have to deal with them anymore. read more

Went to the Women's Shoe department and I was greeted by 3 employees by the name of: Maria, Kirsa, and Kevin. Very friendly, asked about my daughter who was with me, they helped me pick out two shoes that were on a great sale! I always find the best sale in Macy's! Great choice! Thanks to these great employees which give a great name to the industry! read more

The Macy's men's store at international mall has the biggest selection of menswear and is always well-stocked. I even prefer coming here over the Dadeland and The Falls locations. read more

Hate this place with a passion. Pushy sales people, no one knows English. Horrible horrible. Can't say enough bad things about this place. I wish I didn't have to come here, but it's my closest Macy's location so sometimes when I need to pick something up real quick I'll deal with it and just come here. But honestly, I feel like they are taking away from what a department store is supposed to be like. The shoe department is a mess, people pushing and shoving, trying to get an associate to even look at you so you can ask for your size. Clothes shopping is ridiculous as it's not only very messy but you have like 4 sales people trying to start a fitting room. Don't even get me started on the first floor cosmetics department. I try not to even walk by as the smell alone makes my head hurt. Then you have people breathing down your neck trying to get you to buy whatever it is you're looking at. I don't even like going to Mac here, trying to buy something from Mac is ridiculous, the associates don't pay any attention to you whatsoever. You have to hunt them down. And I personally like to ask about several things before I buy and you can just TELL when someone doesn't know anything at all. So I hardly buy from here unless I'm specifically going to buy a product. Skin care is a joke, they simply try to sell at all departments Lancôme, Estée Lauder, clarins. You name it. They just sell all the time, I once got the worst reaction on my skin for taking one of their advice. Never ever again. Enough said. read more

This is my first time at Macy's in the international mall and I will never come back. Very disorganized, no employee knows where things are. I try a dress but I needed another size to fit better and I had to found it by myself because no one knew where the dress were, because ofcourse I found it in another place. To make my shopping more pleasant I pay my clothes and I got home and when I'm going to try my clothes again I realize that the seller gave me the dress with the wrong size, so the next day I had to return to change it and unfortunately the treatment was no different. So I recommend you to go to Macys at Dadeland if you want to enjoy your shopping. read more

The customer service here is horrible. Every time I come here, it's a different story. First, they sold me a broken watch, which was on "sale". Yea, of course it's on sale, it's freaking broken. Another time I was purchasing a MK purse, and I wanted a different one from the one on display, because that one was dirty, so the lady attending me says no problem, goes pretend to get another one, and comes back with the same one, all wrapped and packed trying to fool me. Then she tried to clean it, but obviously it didn't work, so I just picked another one. Another time, I was purchasing an item on sale, but they wouldn't give me the discount, so then I guess the person got annoyed and began treating me so shitty that when I asked what the total was, she said, "look at the receipt yourself". I understand if I would have treated her badly first, but I did not. I honestly hate coming to this Macy's. read more

On 11/04/15 around 5:30 PM, I went by the Macys International Mall Chanel Makeup Counter to try out their foundation. One of the 2 sales associates at the counter, a woman with brown hair in a pony tail attended me. After deciding which color would be best for me I asked the SA for a small sample and she replied that she had run out of the small containers used for samples and walked away. She did not offer to locate one at another counter, basically lost all interest in helping once she believed that I was not going to make a purchase. There were no other customers at the counter waiting to be helped, she just turned and left and started conversing with her co-worker. Terrible customer service, no long term thinking about acquiring a new customer by being helpful. Chanel and/or Macys should be more watchful and on top of how their employees represent their company. read more

The show department service is terrible! Apart from not being able to find a sales associate around the store, once we did get ahold of one they took about half an hour just to get my size and then another 15 minutes just to ring me up. Probably won't be coming back here read more

Fragrance sales person constantly selling me products. She had "knowledge" which is valuable but a person's knowledge when selling a product is not valuable if they are informing to but instead of to educate. I asked for a shower gel of any kind for men since the one I wanted was not sold individually. She showed me a Viktor & Rolf set that she said came with one, sampled me the toilette bottle in which she told me a total of about $30 bringing my total to about $250 since I got a 3.4 Oz chanel no °5 and 3.3 Oz dolce & gabbana The One. She charged me $110 for a L'oreal Gel. I asked her about if the spicebomb was L'oreal, pretending to be naive like I didn't see the the same V&R logo on the box, bottle, plastic grenade "pin", and the sample sheet, in which she responded "yes, it is" I liked the smell, I didn't want a spray. I liked the price, I didn't ask for a $110 L'oreal product. I let her charge me because I won't forget the place, the person, the moment, the price, or the product. Also, i can confidently post this review all over anything Macy's to show how they don't care about you or what you want AT ALL. I am Never going back. I am not a cheap person. in fact, every time I have been back to this place, I spend more money because their product ( including clothing and accessories ) and their prices are great but I don't like being taken advantage of. if it's a fair trade (quality, price, service, educational experience where I don't feel like I only gained "things" but an experience I would gladly be willing to pay so much for again) I wouldn't care what my total is. however, I will not tolerate being taken and treated as a fool. (also she pretended that Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is Dolce & Gabbana The One to charge me roughly another $50. I primarily went there for Chanel for my Mother's Day gift and D&G for me so I was not going to play with my money when it came to those) read more

I used to work at this Macy's. When you start working you would still get a minimum wages, and until 10,20, or more years. Still would be same minimum wages. As a sales associate, it is a commission position, but when you take care customer under your Employee Number and you get returned merchandises, you would get deficit. Even I worked there 30 hours a week, still not even enough. Plus when you are working there in the specifc big area with many sales associate, it is a competition, and they leave the area mess, and Half of the people before they clock out, they do not clean up or putting the merchandise Go Backs. Communication is just wasn't there.. read more

Yesterday I order for pick up at your store. I work a lot and I have no time to be shopping. Every single item was available at this location and even tho I am 30 miles away I placed it there with the hope of going in and leaving right away! I got an email after I placed the order saying 3 items were not available so I called in customer service and they tell me the difference was going to be refunded as soon as I picked up the ones that were available. Email got sent to me saying I had to pick up full order in Fine Jewelry. Walked into the store at 6:45 pm and wanted to make sure the items that were cancel weren't really available and guess what within 5 minutes I found every single item. Looks like someone wasn't really doing their job! I take the items with me to Fine Jewelry explained to Camelia which was the lady that took care of me that I didn't want any refund I wanted to take what I ordered that WAS AVAILABLE. She did her best about it and I have to mention her customer service was the best I have ever experienced! She was just there to give me the order and had nothing to do with someone else's bad job. Ivan the Jewelry Manager helped me as well . We end up calling customer service again and they told me I was gonna get my money back the following day (24 hours) So I had to buy the 3 items again and left the store at 8:39 pm. Woke up this morning no money refunded but the one in hold fully processed. Called my bank and no refund on the way! Right now as I write this I am also on the phone with customer service one more time, this time 42 minutes on hold. Sounds like a case my attorney will like to take care of. read more
