This the place to get tools that are cheap. I've gotten so many different tools and machines here…read moreI cant count them. If you're a professional, many things here aren't durable enough to take a serious pounding every day. If you're doing work on you're home occasionally or you're a hobbyist then this is the place. For the hobbyist, you can get something like a drill press that is bigger than what you for not too much money. It will work great. But if you use that same drill press to mill hard steel, well you should know better. Before you spend a ton of money on that pro saw, learn how to use the cheap one, so when you wreck it you'll learn. Save those super coupons! I've gotten some really great deals using those 25-40% coupons they send in the mail. Here's an example of something that most people think is just crap, but actually a great buy: bench vise. I learned that their vises come fully assembled to make sure all the parts are present. I bought an XY vise that was $60 with coupon. A similar vise is $400 or more, as you know at any pro shop. The key to saving all that money was that I had to take it all apart and carefully clean it, do some filing, fitting and lube to make it into a totally acceptable piece of equipment. No, it won't replace my super accurate milling vise, but sure does pair well with my drill press. I got a table saw and a chop saw last fall and on the recommendation of the guy that worked there, because I'm just a DIY'er and not a contractor, I got both saws with the 10" blade. I have yet to change blades, but a new blade is about $12 versus $25 for the 12". The chop saw has a telescoping rail system and handles a 4x4 with no problem. They have a good warranty and fit in my limited budget.

I've bought maybe about $2500 worth of power equipment from this business over the course of the…read morelast 12 months was concerning my second brand new steel chainsaw bar and chain. I believe we're under warranty so I was dealing with the girl at the counter, it was her first day. She called the manager over the manager, didn't ask me my name Pretended to get on the computer and tell me that my warranty couldn't be found and I need to bring a paper receipt well my warranty supposed to be under my phone number and I don't know I might not have been dressed the best and I was actually giving a homeless man. He changed from the chain and bar that I had purchased. Perhaps I was written off as a less of a person than himself, the girl at the counter had my phone number and was supposed to call me if she was able to dig up my warranty. I believe Marty is in charge of all the warranty work through steel. I believe that that's his name and he's been OK to deal with. I haven't brought this up to him yet because I'm so bent out of shape that I feel like I might not be able to convey my feelings with any tactwhatsoever. I was basically calling a liar and was frustrated by the all of my experience I won't be purchasing anymore power equipment from this particular aces and again we're gonna add a picture of what I bought over the last year. I hope the manager sleeps well after somebody gets him this review

This is my new go-to hardware store. Even though I am closer to Fleet Farm, I prefer stopping here…read morebecause of the friendly service and the local-nature of the store. The store is very clean and the help is very attentive. You obviously won't have as vast as a selection as the superstores like Fleet Farm, Menards, Lowes, etc., but they have the standard stuff you would need. In my recent visits, my purchases included a Weber grill, propane, Dot's Pretzels, soda, paint, tape, grass seed and more.
