Let me tell you about my experience with Derek at Mac's....last September. I went in to have my AC coolant checked/charged. I paid for my service. He told me I needed an AC compressor..... now he went out of his way to tell me to go get it on a cheap website and come back and he would put it in for me for Free, which was very nice of him. Well I went and bought it off partsgeek.com which only has a 30 day return policy. I tried to get in contact with Derek. He never returned my calls. I work. I cannot just randomly stop by and wait a whole day out of work, and I need to have an appointment and work around that and take a day off so fast-forward a few months go by my car needs some more work. I take it in and I asked about the AC compressor they wanna charge me again to refill the AC fluid even though they already did that last September they replaced my alternator and two spark plugs which caused almost $1000 and it didn't fix my power steering problem, which is the only reason I took it in for power steering now, I was the one who said it could be caused by the alternator. The guys at O'Reilly stated it could be from the alternator, but it could be anything. These guys didn't even diagnose my car charge me $1000. Send me on my way in the next f^cking day. My car is still broken. I'm livid and I still don't have an AC compressor in my car. The part that I got was the wrong one. I can't return it because it's been past 30 days but Derek never got back to me. I think he thought he was doing me a favor. I would've gladly paid to have the compressor done right the first time now Im OUT even more money.
I go back next Thursday.....
Let see how much more they want to fix their mistake!
They also made a greasy mess of my car
Six months ago, Derek was telling me that this my car a Honda would last me a very long time and now he's trying to sell me a new car or whatever a used car a Hyundai to boot I think he's just trying to make money off me and I don't like that one bit read more
