The area is quiet and doesn't get a lot of through traffic which is great if you have small kids that tend to roam. Have visited here a couple times on a Sunday evening in October. I definitely believe there needs to be more than 1 person working in the store at a time. The sweet young person was definitely doing her best with a smile and positive attitude, but it was just way too much for her to control the register and make the ice cream. The store wasn't crowded at that particular time, but if anyone came in with a family of 4 or more, it would definitely be a problem. Limited seating on the inside but outdoor benches and tables with umbrellas if the weather is nice. I had the mango ice with swirl ice cream and my friend had the orange ice with vanilla ice cream. We both agreed that the mango and orange flavor were a little off, kinda leaves a weird aftertaste. So I'm not sure what the artificial flavoring is, but it's definitely not sugar-free as there are sugar free options on the menu. Despite the somewhat-off taste of the ice and the store being understaffed, the establishment is very well kept, has great ice cream options (we will definitely be back but probably just for the ice cream - no ice), is affordable, and the customer service by the young people running the store is top-notch. Thank you, Jeremiah's, for making Macon a more beautiful place!

Shop local! Great customer service! Yummy desserts! My kids loves this place. It is locally owner and has yummy food. We think it is awesome the owners' kids help out. My kids can relate with them and they provide awesome customer service. The place is super clean (mommy approved!). For the record, I trust a kid working in her parents' store processing my cash/credit cards in front of me ... much much much more than I do many fast food/restaurant workers nowadays. The shop has some seating available on the sidewalk on the side and a decent sized dining area. You will also find bar seating looking out of the window and rocking chairs out front. They have chocolates, bulk jelly beans, and packaged candy for sell. They also have a wide assortment of ice cream to choose from. You can get coffee, sundaes, banana splits, scoops, cones, shakes, and malts. I asked what was the difference between a shake and a malt and was told by the staff that a malt tasted like a Whooper or a thick milkshake. I assumed they were referring to the Whooper candy and not the burger. The shop was relatively clean and the staff was friendly. I got Cookie Monster ice cream for the littles and a Key Lime shake for me. To be honest, the shake was not very good and pretty bland. I was not a fan. By the blue color all over their face, the littles seemed to like their scoop of Cookie Monster though. My experience here was decent. I wish I would have liked my ice cream treat though. A 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but since that is not an option, I guess it is closer to a 4 than a 3.

Needless to say, when she told me a new place in town had opened up, we had to stop by. Cone Crazy on Main has a classic ice cream parlor feel to it. I found it clean and comfortable, conveniently located, with parking on the side or in back, with air conditioning inside, to help keep your cone intact. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic, giving each customer full attention. Adding to that classic feel I mentioned, the girl behind the counter was one of my daughter's classmates. There were plenty of hand spun flavors to choose from, that I understand change from time to time, adding to the variety. During my visit, it was noted that a sugar free flavor was available, which I found impressive. I however like sugar, so I chose a more standard variety, the mint chocolate chip, in a waffle cone. The waffle cones come in three varieties that I observed: plain, rimmed with chocolate, and rimmed with chocolate and sprinkles a.k.a. shots or Jimmies, depending on where you're from. For my taste, I chose plain. They also had coffee; so, if it's cold and rainy when you pass through town, you still have a reason to stop by. My selection was creamy, sweet and literally dripping with flavor. As I pointed out, the inside of the shop was air conditioned; but me being me, I seemingly preferred to make a mess by eating outside. Of course, my daughter was able to avoid this, telling you that it was me, not the ice cream, that was messy. What I was most impressed with, however, was the chunk of chocolate I got with each bite. There was no skimping there. In conclusion, if your traveling south toward Macon, there's no reason to keep going to satisfy your sweet tooth. If headed north from Macon, keep driving until you reach city hall, then stop in at Cone Crazy. You'll be glad you did
