They went from $2 to $5 with no improvements. I would understand if they had people drying, upgraded equipment, etc.. but its the same $2 wash for 150% price increase. read more

Decent car wash, terrible dryers, and RUDE staff. I went to this car wash on a Saturday afternoon around 12noon. I spoke to the attendant and he never once said a word to me even after I thanked him for my change. Customer service can really make or break a business, and because of this interaction I don't plan to return. I'd rather spend my money where I'm appreciated as a customer. read more

You get what you pay for, I guess. I wouldn't even recommend it if you just needed the most basic of washes. I came and left with all of the bugs on my windshield and front bumper, I could still see all the windshield wiper lines with dirt, my side mirrors, back windshield, and back bumper were just as dirty, and my tires barely touched the water. read more

Extremely Rude! I understand it's only a five dollar car wash, but the absolute rudeness of the employee was uncalled for. Never going back there again. read more

So this is an update to my review a couple of years ago and there a couple of updated thoughts. First of all it's a $3 car wash now and then add an extra dollar for an SUV which is quite a head scratcher when they don't have anyone spraying off the vehicles to justify paying extra money. Today it was simply guided in by someone as with any other automobile, hooked up like any other automobile and pulled through the car wash like any other automobile, so why an extra dollar? Recovering from a snow storm the vehicle was 'white' from all of the salt and that also made me wonder why there wasn't more help with the spraying and getting these cars and wheels sprayed off with the hose a little bit before heading into the tunnel of suds. The automated car wash alone doesn't get all areas cleaned when most of us have heavy salt residue and then there's nobody at the end either wiping down the vehicle. I could see if it was summer, but with heavy salt and road grime in the winter, you'd think there'd be more assistance with spraying or wiping, but I know.... you get what you pay for. There are other local car washes in the vicinity and a friend recommended two others that do excellent jobs. So when I want a nice job done, I'll patronize one of them. But for now, just to get the heavy salt off so it doesn't eat at my car, this one is okay. Yep, just okay.... read more

Need to change the name to "$3 wash $1 extra for trucks because we can"..... Friendly staff. Vacuums for a charge. Quick service- at a cost. If you have a vehicle that you don't consider a prize or you are not appreciative of steps taken to avoid scratches, this place really is for you! That's not sarcasm, true statement. First, I will identify my personality as perfectionist on detailing and minimizing any damage to my cars. I rather park further out and walk to avoid paint damage. My issues and why I stopped going here years ago is the lack of pre-wash. No power washing, no soapy brush before the tunnel. Yesterday I was in a pinch, I thought I would try again- It's so close to my house. I almost pulled away when the truck in front of me was obviously living on a dirt road. It was grossly dirty. Two EE's, one pushing buttons and one collecting cash. How about pretending you care and knock off some dirt with the magic water gun? Nope, just gonna send it. Guess what spinning brushes do, especially to dirt on paint. Guess where the dirt becomes embedded and who is behind that filthy car. I had a foot between the two of us. I now become first to share the filth. It's like being at a college party and open mouth kissing the drunk girl that just puked. I wipe my car down after my washes. I know what's there. As a detailer and die maker, I have a trained eye for defects and problem solving as far as why or what causes surface issues. The air dryer at the end is awful to your clear coat. It's not touchless. The rollers are no longer smooth. I was studying them and wanted to puke as I took my Sunday car through. You can guess I found two scratches from the air dryer. I can polish it out, by I don't need to pay money for extra work when it's avoidable. I have been driving out of my way for two other local washes. You can search my reviews. See Robin Auto Wash at Schoenherr north of 59. I love Ron and his crew. You will sit a few extra minutes, but so worth it, they ALWAYS PRE SPRAY AND BRUSH! No exceptions! They charge me $3 for the express. It's the same service as this wash but includes the proper prep and touchless air dryer. They are also full serve- check my review for details. Also look for another wash I give good reviews. These are my thoughts, not yours. If you care as I do, you will care to drive past, not through! read more

FRAUD! This car wash has clearly went downhill in recent years. I went to get a car wash today and of course only the "best wash" which now costs $10 for a regular car supposedly includes an undercarriage wash ( per the menu listing). I chose this wash for that feature to get the salt off the car. After confirming the best wash with the attendant, I'm Convinced I only received the $3 wash. No undercarriage jets ( the underside of the car was dry when i got home), absolutely no triple color foam or tire rinse during the wash, and a very poor job at washing the car. The back and the front area by the wipers are filthy, still have ice stuck in wheel wells, and the rims have not been touched. I will never go to this car wash again. I can get a better wash for less $$ anywhere else. read more

I've given this place several shots at making it right and they just can't! The basic wash is so poorly done it's like I didn't get it washed at all. Another time they didn't come to collect money and I sat and sat then finally drove off. Another time I asked the very rude attendant to give me the wash that will get the bugs off ...ya know some spray and a little elbow grease with the brush? "We ain't got no bug remover and I don't know when we will". The sign says $1.99 and I'm not splitting hairs here but this whole place needs an update including new employees. Too many other options out there guys to have this poor service EVERY SINGLE TIME ! If I paid for a $2 or $10 wash it comes out the same. BADLY! I work too hard for my paycheck and won't be giving another DIME to this place. To the owner!! Pay better people to do the job and be customer service oriented and your business will be great! Every review I've read on here is terrible. The one guy looks like a lazy dude with poor hygiene and a VERY bad attitude ! read more

I went to this car wash today and there was a sign in the entrance that said wait for attendant. Waited for 10 minutes, possibly longer because that was only the time in which I began to keep track and no one ever showed. I ended up leaving and had approximately 5 cars behind me who started to follow suit. This was actually me giving them a second try as the first time the attendant was so impersonal-able and kinda rude. read more

I would only come here for a basic wash for $4 if you have nothing more than light dust on your vehicle. I had to go to another wash right after to rewash what was missed. My wheel wells, bottoms of my doors, and tires were still full of salt and road grime. Also, I didn't feel the workers were very professional or customer friendly. They didn't spray off my vehicle beforehand or make me feel welcome while talking to me. This wash could be better for some people, but I will not recommend to people I know nor give my business to them again. I wouldn't even say you get what you pay for honestly you can find value elsewhere. read more

Complete joke. I drove up to pay for my car wash and the attendant noticed bird crap on the hood. The first response out of his mouth was, "I can't guarantee that will come off". I responded, "You can't guarantee me a clean car wash at the car wash?" He then responded, "Well, for an extra couple dollars I will make sure it will come off". I know there are no rocket scientists working here. However, you think they would realize there are several other car wash companies within 1-2 miles from them. I will be taking my business elsewhere. And anyone who reads this should do the same. read more

Went there today. The attendant was horribly rude. I usually pay for cheaper wash so when the back of my car is not completely clean I don't complain but today I wanted it clean and was willing to pay more. There was one car already in the car wash. I pulled up waited for the attendant. He came our timely but came out with an annoyed look and instead of coming to my window to collect money he stood at the front of the car no express and no wave to pull forward. ok no biggie I pull forward. I asked what wash will get rid of bags and which one can I get where u power wash my back before I go in cause that never comes out clean. I got an annoyed response that bug removal is $2 additional for any wash and they only power wash front and sides. His response nothing gets the back clean. By then his annoyed attitude rubbed off on me so I just did my usual cheap with bug removal and will find another car wash that cleans the back of my car. If u hate your job quit and find a new one. He is not bringing any business your way that for sure. read more

Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. There is nothing here for 2$ besides mat cleaning and beware that even if ur "truck" fits in the category of station wagon or small suv they will demand their $1. Cheapest wash is 3$ for a tiny car. Paid for the 6$ wash with of course the "extra charge" and my vehicle came out looking like I washed it at the quarter wash. Will not recommend. Very upset over the entire experience. read more

Paid for the $5 wash with tire clean, no pre rinse, barely scrubbed the car. It was still so dirty after it didn't even look like I had gotten a full wash. Rims and tires weren't even remotely clean. Paid for the foam wash and when I got to work there was colorful foam all over my car. The one photo is just a small section of what was still left on my car. I'll never go back no matter how convenient this location is. read more

I tried to give them money tonight but apparently they close at 7:52pm with 3 cars in line. When I inquired what time they close, I was rudely told "now". Unfortunately, Yelp forces me to give them 1 star, ZERO STARS. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I took my car in last week. After pulling out into the parking lot, I started to dry the car off, and noticed the rear wiper arm was broken off. After finding the arm, I went into the office. They told me to fill out a claim, and the owner would get right back to me. Haven't heard from him ! So, looks like I have to get it repaired, and probably take him to small claims court. Sad, because he could have addressed the problem for a fraction of the cost. Also, our family of four have been going there just over ten years. read more

I know this is a $2 car wash . I know that. There are 3 options for the wash however. You can pay 2 for what I assume is water on your car, $5 for the works and $7 for the ultimate with the wax, sealer and whatever else they say you get. Don't pay more than 2 bucks. It's not worth it. Your car won't dry in their dryers so you'll have soap residue all over. And if you had bad salt or dirt over a few days old, it will remain and be 'foggy' meaning there's still a dusting. It will get your car looking shiny from a distance. If that's what you want then cool. If you want more go somewhere that has a hand dry person and better scrubbing power. read more

I am so tired of being charged an extra $1 for being an SUV. I drive a Dodge Journey...it is hardly the same size as a Suburban or Expedition! My summer car is a Mini Cooper convertible. I don't get a discount for having a tiny car? Also, they do not spray your car down unless they aren't busy, and normally the water stinks which means it is just re-used and not purified. The back end of my car as well as the wheels never get touched. Do yourself a favor and go to America's Finest. Their coupon is on the back of a Kroger receipt and it will be the same price! read more

First they charged me for having a "truck" when I have a small jeep. I take my boss' mini van (way bigger) through car washes all the time and don't get charged the extra. I can understand a pick up truck or van but whatever I guess. But then I had to get out and pop my mirrors back out and there was blue liquid dripping down my white car! read more

During a time when people are trying their best to promote local businesses, there are those like THIS CAR WASH, that takes full advantage of their customers. Before the pandemic, THIS CAR WASH was selling "PREPAID Coupon Books" to expire in April, 2020. Since Gov. Whitmer CLOSED this business during that timeframe, THIS CAR WASH DID NOT HONOR the PREPAID washes... irony is: if you show up to this car wash when they first open in the morning, they will let cars DRIVE THRU for FREE, but will not honor LONG TIME CUSTOMERS who purchased their PREPAID wash tickets (expired DURING SHUT DOWN). I tip $3 for a $2 carwash so you and your employees have unfortunately lost WAY MORE THAN YOU GAINED. Shameful way to do business which I will NEVER go to again! read more

I've been going here for nearly 5 yrs but they have a new owner who is a real A hole, started screaming at me because I opened the office door to get quarters for the vacuum, and now vacuums up to $1.50, don't pay extra for wheel cleaner of tire shine, I did and did NOT get either one, never go here again, poor results at $10 wash. Terrible Service & attitudes here. read more

This place is just the biggest shame in Macomb. If you are a woman or a guy who drive a small car or "girly" car, don't go here. They will especially be rude and upset you in many ways with the greatest A-hole attitude. If you want to get treated like "a boss", wash a big and fancy car or truck. They will call you boss and be nice(?) to you cause that was what happened to me. Just a trash place and a trash A-hole owner or manager. read more

Nicest people and great experience!!! Could not be happier! The attendant helped me with my car and was a doll about it.

This place is a joke paid $11.00 looks like a $2.00 job! Employees were rude and barely rinsed off my truck before washing it! They put one of my mirrors in left the other one out. Before leaving I had to get out and put my own mirror out and they never towel dry truck. I went around my truck rims look awful, mud still on my running boards and my tail gate looked like never touched needless to say a waste of my money never again I go their consumer be a where ! read more

When you have 3 lanes and you don't place cones out to block the other lanes off and a customer comes through one of the other lanes do you either A. calmly ask them to go to the back of the other lane while having the other cars wait to allow them to get through and then use common sense and put cones up, or B. yell at the customer and tell them it's one lane and when asked how they should get out throw your hands up saying "I don't know" and walk away. It's called customer service, clearly this car wash doesn't care about that or else they would hire more professional helpers. I have been coming here for years and it's just going down hill. I paid $6 for the "best" wash. I gave the manager a $20 bill and a $1 bill. He gave me 2 fives and five ones. I asked for another five instead, seeing he had more. He refused, saying he needed them for change for customers. I said I was a customer. He still refused. The wash did not clean the wheels of my car. I drove around and pointed this out to the same fellow. Instead of sending me through and working on the wheels, he told me "That's about as good as we can do." In a cash business, attitude is everything. These folks have horrid attitude. read more

Spent $10 (the $9 best wash plus $1 because of an SUV) and they didn't even scrub the car beforehand (just gave it a rinse - the cars that don't buy the best don't even get a rinse, they just get a guide onto the tracks, how nice). The air dryers are the rollers that actually touch (roll) your car, which potentially could leave damage... when it was said and done, we had a ton of water still on the car when we were out... all of the "best" was (plus $1!). read more

Overall wash was ok. Not really that different from the other $2 washes. Pulling in on a sunny Saturday, the place was packed. It says to form 3 lines, but everyone packed up the first 2 lines. cars were lined up out into the street. Finally someone came out and instructed cars to pull into 3rd lane. read more

Good place to go in the area. Never too crowded, even during the busy hours of the day. And really, you can't beat $2 for an automatic wash.

1/19/18 I had a bad experience here. I asked about the undercarriage spray, he said you have to get the better car wash in order to receive that. So I paid the extra money. When I was pulling in they did nothing different for my car than the others. The guy didn't even spray a little water at first. How is that the best wash? Also I called afterwards, they were rude, and I found out the undercarriage spray is automatic anyways? What a waste of money... either that or he's lying to cover his tracks. He just wanted to stand there with his hands in his pockets and not work. Not happy with the service there at all. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I went today to this car wash on 1-20-14 at 1:25pm. The roads were dry. I paid for the most expensive car wash ($6.00) was and asked specifically if it included the undercarriage wash. The worker stated YES the under body gets flushed. As I went through the wash the vehicle in front of me obviously got the same wash. The worker manually washed the trunk and rear window and when this vehicle got to the under body wash zone the neon lights lit up with Under Body Wash and I could see the water jets shooting up under his car. I did not have the back of my car manually washed off like the car in front of me and when I got to the Under Body Wash zone the lights did not come up and I did not feel nor see any water jets under my vehicle. This place obviously gave me their $2.00 wash when I paid for and confirmed the most expensive $6.00 wash. When I pulled out of the wash I pulled to the side to check the undercarriage of my car and it was bone dry. This place ripped me off!! Don t go here!! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR! This is the worst car wash I have ever been to. The attendant had his hand up like he was going to push my antenna in, but I guess he didn't because next thing I knew it was hanging down my door scratching against the side of my car. I asked for the manager and was told that he would be "right out" but was made to wait over a half hour even though there were 2 workers and never more than one car in line. I ended up losing my groceries that were refrigerated just to be told that I was out of luck and maybe the district manager would give me a free wash if I was lucky.
