Since starting my subscription with Jax, I have noticed that as the company builds or acquires more sites, the total infrastructure is getting weaker. I have noticed that equipment breakdowns at Clinton Township, Utica, and Macomb have not been addressed and are simply set aside as vehicles proceed through the car wash facility. Capital funds that would normally be used to keep things running properly are now being diverted to procure additional facilities without keeping pace with the existing facilities' needs. My truck is not being washed thoroughly on both sides, nor are the others that go through the Kar Washes mentioned, and perhaps many others in the chain. I feel that I am not getting the same bang for the buck as I did when I started, and management doesn't care about quality, just the "Benjamens." MARK LOGSDON read more

Horrible! Workers are stoned and don't give a flying efff. Jax kar wash just bought all the decent car washes and turned them to sh*t! I have had the premium account with them for 7 months and it has gone bad to horrible to fu**ing worst! I don't recommend! Called customer service and they hanged up no once but three times on me. New *** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, FAULTY EQUIPMENT DAMAGED A VEHICLE THEY WILL NOT PAY FOR*** I've been a paying customer with multiple monthly wash plans at this location, but after what happened, I will not be coming back. Yesterday, I went through the wash and the overhead drying system was set too low. It hit my vehicle, snapped off my driver-side windshield wiper, and bent the wiper arm. This was clearly an equipment issue -- not something caused by me. When I pulled out and spoke to the manager (John B), his response was unacceptable. Instead of stopping the wash to check the equipment or even acknowledging a possible issue, he kept everything running and immediately tried to shift blame. He questioned whether my wipers were even on or installed properly -- which they absolutely were. The only resolution offered was a free interior cleaning, while stating they would not cover the damage. That's not a solution when your equipment just broke part of a customer's vehicle. What made it worse was the behavior of the employee drying cars. He came over in an aggressive, confrontational manner, which escalated the situation unnecessarily and made the entire experience even more unprofessional. Bottom line: * Their equipment damaged my vehicle * Management refused to take responsibility * No effort was made to inspect or stop potentially faulty equipment * Staff behavior was unprofessional and confrontational If you care about your vehicle, I would think twice about using this location. If something goes wrong, don't expect them to take responsibility. We currently have three vehicle memberships, and unfortunately the quality of service has continued to decline. During our most recent visit, dirty rags were used to wipe the vehicle, and the car was not properly washed at all. I didn't notice the extent of the issue until I arrived home, which made the experience even more disappointing. With multiple memberships, we expect a higher standard of care and consistency, not careless work that leaves vehicles in worse condition. At this point, I'm very dissatisfied and would appreciate this being addressed promptly. Please let me know how you plan to resolve this issue and prevent it from happening again. I wouldn't even bother going to any of these car washes Jax they are so damn slow. People do not know how to use the system and they hold up the system trying to sell memberships. It's so not worth it waiting in line for a half an hour for a car wash and your car doesn't even get fully cleaned. I've been to five of these things and they are all terrible. I am going to get rid of my membership. I see a monopoly happening and they are raising the prices too because there are so many of these car washes around they are going to jack everybody price gouge. read more

Decided to try for a second time as they are located close by... the employees barely do anything at the prep line except pressure you into the monthly wash like I can't do math.... I went for a basic car wash but it left my car still dirty for the most part. The windows still had stains, it was definitely rushed as the machine barely touched my car at all to clean it... the second round of soap barely washed off before getting to the drier where I watched the suds get blown away instead of fully washed off. Everywhere where the tiny little nooks and crannies or any kind of texture it's like they just sprayed the soap and wax on and dried it on there. I have been to 3 DIFFERENT Jax Car Washes on Hall Rd today. One ran my car and 2 others through with all equipment shut down/no wash after a 25 min wait. Second one did not have air blasters and third had no suction on vacuums and blasters were all off. Once I finally got through a functioning wash.... You guessed it, my car was still filthy. I switched to Jax to save from Clean Express Wash membership. Clean Express, I am coming home!! No more shenanigans. read more

Always leaves suds on my truck. Just recently got my antenna ripped off at the end of the wash and when it happened they said get a quote to fix it and they'll reimburse me no problem , now they refuse to help because my car is more than 8 years old?! The dealer showed it dented my car and about $800 in damage , all I wanted was my antenna fixed but that wasn't an option, I'm supposed to pull off the the side each time and remove the antenna by hand with a wrench before each wash then re install it after. Also, workers will yell at you when they're in a bad mood and you don't drive fast enough up to the entrance . read more

This Jax Car Wash on Hall Road caused my vehicles to have a rancid smell / odor from their Windshield Wiper solvent which is spoiled, disgusting, and obnoxious. Even their site manager (Dave) inspected the vehicle odor and nearly vomited from the terrible odor. The issue has been raised by Dave to his boss yet I have not received any response indicating they are willing to fix / remediate the problem. Stay away from Jax and go to one of the many other Car Washes in the area that are able to provide professional service that does not damage your vehicle or at least display care for their customers by fixing issues they cause. read more

Jax car wash in Clinton Twp Mi on Hall Rd near Groesbeck Hwy. We have two vehicles with the unlimited wash service. Approximately 2 months ago we filled our 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with the courtesy washer fluid that Jax provides. We started to notice a bad smell coming out of our interior vents when using the air conditioning and or the heat. At first we thought it was antifreeze the way it smelled. After a few weeks the smell got worse so we took it to the dealership where we bought the jeep. After the dealership had multiple technicians trying to figure out where this now fishy smell was coming from, they determined it was coming from the washer fluid reservoir. They had to remove and replace the reservoir and flush the system. It took them 2 weeks to get the parts and do the repair. The service manager confirmed that the washer fluid we got from Jax had contaminated the system. We finally got our Jeep back after being at the dealership for 1 entire month! I highly recommend that no use this courtesy washer fluid that Jax provides!!! read more

When I called to get a refund, the manager Carolyn stated that it was my problem that the employee told me something they don't have and they are not in the refund business. The car wash is remodeled and has a lot of new vacuum cleaners and neon lights. There are 3 drive up lanes (fast pass - no cash, all forms of payment and unlimited wash) the pay booths while new are cumbersome and not really user friendly. It offers to pay the tip while paying but doesn't give the customer enough time to make the actual selection. The very next screen is the home screen and doesn't indicate when to pay. I finally figured it out. As far as the wash , not a very good job. My wheel wells are still dirty, I found globs of soap or whatever solution they use at the end on the hood of the car. I would think the guys wiping down the car would have caught that. The back tail gate has dirt. I had the option of $8, $12 or $16 and I chose the $12 car wash. read more

After Prestige Car Wash closed I decided to switch my monthly membership to Jax @$32.99 but after 30 days and 4-5 washes I had to cancel due to poor results on my Alloy Wheels and tire shine. After leaving Prestige my wheels looked brand new but at Jax wheels not even half cleaned and 50% of tires had no tire shine. read more

They do not spray vehicles off before entering the wash. Truck in front of me was very muddy and all I could think about is my new 75k truck getting washed with sandpaper. The wheel cleaner is a joke. The Rochester location has a powerful pre-rinse spray and much better wash tunnel. I am canceling my membership on all 3 of our vehicles. I paid $20 for a wash and left there with snow on the roof of my passat and mirrors all out of wack. One if they were not just pre-washing my car on one side only the snow might of come off. Every worker is so attentive and always trying to make my car the cleanest on a dirt road so there's usually lots of mud caked on my car and each employee goes out of their way to try and get all the mud off. Don't come here. Keep on driving to the next car wash. I came today to get are car wash and use the free vacuums for my giant Denali. Free vacate a must for me, because it takes me, at minimum a half hour to vacuum and clean the inside of my truck. I couldn't imagine feeding endless quarters into a place that doesn't offer free vacuums with a wash purchase. I pulled in at 2pm on a Saturday and it was fairly busy. They have a LOT of vacuum spots and tons were open. I picked one not next to another customer. My 1st vacuum barely worked. I tested it on my hand and immediately returned it to the holder. Grabbed hose #2, same problem, barely any suction. I proceeded to vacuum #3 and that one was worse than the 1st two- if you can imagine that! On to vacuum #4 and while it was better than the previous 3, I swear I could have blown the dirt out of my truck better than this vacuums suction- or complete lack of! I got the big pieces of gold fish and straw paper, and quit. It was a complete waste of my time. I didn't even get a car wash because the experience was already a loss. I wasn't paying for something I didn't receive. Pass on this place. While it looks nice- it literally sucks. And I'm not talking a good suck either. read more
