I used to love this when it was Jon's. Today I paid for the tire shine, as I wanted my truck to look good without me having to do the tires. The tires were done about 40% each. So, after drying my truck off, I went to the office. The nice yound man thanked me for informing him and then offered to do NOTHING to fix my issue. Glad I spent the extra $5 for the tire shine THAT I DIDN'T GET... Non-existent Customer Service. He didn't offer to grab a bottle and redo them. Never returning. I've been going to this and one other auto wash for years. Last time I went the entire middle center of my car still had salt all over it. I let a worker know and the manager came out and explained to me how car washes work. I told him I understand, I've been using auto washes for 25 years, including theirs, and this is the first time that this has happened. They eventually gave me another wash and had somebody actually use the brush to clean the back of my car, but just frustrating that they were trying to man-splain to me how a car washes works. Also, it's very annoying that every time I go in, there's always somebody standing right next to the touch screen trying to sell me on getting a membership. I'd rather just buy my individual washes as needed, and the hard sell makes me want the membership even less. read more

This location is here as a back up only when I am in the area or on my way home from Roseville. (Yes I do not use car washes in Roseville or St. Clair Shore since not too many laser touch-free washes are available) This business wash could use a remodeling with the bays and of course the tunnel drive through is always busy. I do not use the tunnel but noticed when I was waiting for the laser touch-free wash it backed up due to maintenance issues or customers can't drive their vehicle properly in on the track. My wait time for the laser wash was about 10 minutes since only 1 car was ahead of me. I have one complaint was the above blower/dryer vent was not working on the right side so my passenger side windows had much water drops when exiting the wash. Thank goodness when driving out of the wash and onto Gratiot Avenue, my fast acceleration speed in merging, helped the water fly off my SUV. Not sure if I will be back here for Winter or future Spring washes. The Jon's location on 23 Mile Rd. Near Hayes Rd. HAS BEEN REMODELED finally and prices have gone up to pay for it. I've been here on more than one occasion (on a busy day, like tonight) when the car wash has actually ran out of soap during the tunnel wash. I've talked to management and they said they will fix the issue. Uh, well a car wash isn't exactly the same without soap. They didn't give me a discount or a free wash. I mean I think the rain could have done a better job than those car washes. They offer $2 off on Tuesdays. I've never had any issues with broken car parts or scratches. I went to vacuum my car and get a wash, after the horrible quality vacuums that hardly had suction, it took $15 bucks to vacuum my car, so I guess no wash for Pandi. They used to have a decent and cheap carwash, now the cheapest is $6, give me a break. Don't waste your time or be fooled by the constant flood of people, everyone who pulled up to the vacuums after getting washed had complaints. Nothing's worth it anymore. read more

First time in a long time I've had a problem with this business. Paid for a $7 car wash, got a $5. Went back to get my $2 back and was told I "didn't have proof because you don't have a receipt so we can't give it to you" so they like to take your money. The funny thing after my experience with that was, they had to shut down immediately after because the wash broke down. So karma got to them. The dryers in the car wash don't dry your car off and they don't towel/hand dry it after. However their vacuums work well and they have a complimentary air machine for your tires that is free, as well as free pre-moistend rags for your dashboard prior to entering the wash. The computerized money taking machine before going into the wash is cool, but again, you may get the wrong car wash so tell the attendent if the wrong was is flashing or they'll take your money and not give it back. However, I highly recommend Earls auto wash between 23 & 22 mile and gratiot located on the east side of gratiot. I will never come back to Jons after today. read more

There isnt another car wash that I would ever want to go to!! Jons is the cleanest, newest equipment equipped, and cutting edge car wash this side of the State. Ive been going there since I discovered Jons since around 1998 or so. I will drive from Harrison Township to the 24/Gratiot location twice weekly just because my car never looks so clean at any other car wash. Jons has 2 self serve bays, 1 touch free automatic, and 1 soft and foamy tunnel. They have the obligatory vacuum stations and vending machines for cleaning supplies. This location is staffed. There several friendly employees to guide you through or answer any questions. Going through the tunnel is really cool because you first go to these automated touch screens where you feed your money in (credit/debit cards accepted), the gate opens, and in you go! Take my word - you will NOT ever go to a tunnel car wash that is as clean as Jons. The brushes that touch your car always look new to me. Also, the amount of soap and wax you get is uncanny. They definitely do not skimp at Jons on anything. Tuesdays are great to go there too, because its "$2 off Tuesday" on the tunnel wash - thats one of the days I always try to go on. All in all, I love this place. I wish I could rate it 6 stars...lol. read more

Do NOT use a credit or debit card- it over charges and if you don't catch it on your bank statement, you'll get charged $12 for a wash!! I called and they said they know it does this and gave me a different address to go to in order to get the over. charge back. They won't refund my bank, I have to go to them to get it!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY don't contact YOU, and YOU have to go to THEM to get your overcharge back. They KNOW it does this and they don't fix it. They are DISHONEST. read more

I agree they should do a better job pre-cleaning the cars esp. the windshield and the front bumper area. The best option I believe would be one person using a brush to hit these spots and one to pre-clean the rest. Besides that, today was Tuesday and I chose the 9 dollar wash as it was supposed to be 2 dollars off (per the flashing sign out front) but I checked my CC and they actually still charged me the 9 bucks. Jons is a Good car wash, unfortunately they don't hire good employees, they take no time pre-washing the car before sending my cars through the bay , just a quick spray and off you go. They need to start taking some time and getting key parts of the cars like grills ,bumpers ,rims and wheel wells . Get back to the Basics ,and please stop charging for bug remover especially with all the fish fly's,the car dosent even get clean without it!!! BEWARE OF JON'S EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTIONS AND CONDESCENDING MANAGEMENT/OWNERS! On 12/18/18 the car wash was packed that afternoon. I am currently on the monthly payment plan to get unlimited $8 washes. I realized how busy they were and decided to wait my turn in the first lane. Three lanes were waiting for their gates to open & let them in. I'm sitting there and I notice the other two gates opened up two times EACH and my gate remained shut! I finally flagged management down. He said it would be fixed in a few seconds: he did something inside and then pushed some buttons on the screen and walked away. AGAIN! The other two gates were opening but not lane 1!! After waiting there for more than 30 minutes I tried to back up to leave, but I was trapped. Then I went to the management office along with the customer behind me. I complained and told them I wanted out of there so I could go elsewhere! He calmed us down and said he would open gate. So he did - about 4 of us got to move thru the gate without waiting, and then he came over to say he was giving the four of us a $15 wash for free. I was calming down and happy they went to the lengths they did. I even tipped the guys washing my car $2. But when I got inside the wash I discovered I only got the $6.00 Wash! That's not even as much as I normally get from my monthly payment plan for unlimited $8.00 washes! My car appeared to have a dull film without any wax on it and I was livid again. I parked my car and walked all the way around to management. They marginalized me, patronized me. Even the owner would shut me down, wouldn't hear me out. And then he only complained how busy they are, how they are not perfect and how hard their job is...but told me that I was "getting excited over nothing!" They finally gave me a written note for a $15 wash to use another day, but only after I had to twist their arm to make it right...and that's all they would give me. Then they basically blew me off. UNBELIEVABLE! I'm getting my final $15 wash and then I am cancelling my membership payment plan with them and going to the wash down the street at corner of Gratiot & Chesterfield road. To hell with Jon's. I've seen those gates malfunction before, but this time I wasted at least 1 hour of my time dealing with their failures only to be insulted. read more

Well my plastic piece on the back of the mirror came off after being thru that car wash. I noticed it a few days later and went back to get it. (it happened there before) and the people thru the piece away. No manager ever calls you back. No one to complain to and the sign says not responsible for mirrors. It wasn't the mirror! It was the Housing over the back of that mirror. On top of it, the kid in there was a snot and could care less about helping me. $270 at the dealership for a new one. Junkyard was $70. But I have to get it repainted and installed. Don't go to this dive. The equipment is too hard on your vehicle. The people there are not responsible. My car is 3 years old, not driving around without all the pieces! read more

This place is terrible. I would absolutely never ever go here again. I used to think this was the best car wash but after today I hate this place. First of all they pay no attention to your dirty vehicle. I paid $9 for the wash because I wanted the extra wheel wash and they didn't even spray the damn wheels, or the windows, or the hood or anywhere else. What is the point of the two guys standing there with hoses in their hands when they don't even spray your car? Then mid way through the wash tunnel they shut the car wash down. Everything just stopped. After sitting there for over 5 minutes not moving I stuck my head out the window to yell and see what was going on. An "employee" finally made his way to the side of my car and told me that he was trying to unfreeze some guys trailer hitch. Why couldn't they let everyone that was waiting in their cars know what was going on? I suggested getting a free wash because we didn't even get a full wash and his response was "I'm not giving you a free wash because you had to wait a minute". Are you serious? No apologies, no consideration, no care for your patrons having to wait in your tunnel with no where to go for over 10 minutes with no explanation. That is horribly dangerous situation for us and the other five vehicles that were in the tunnel. And this isn't the first time crap like this has happened at Jons wash. I visited the one on 23 mile near Schoenherr and they ran out of soap and still ran the cars through the tunnel. I will never go near this place and I will tell everyone I know to stay far away. You deserve to go out of business running a place like that. read more

If I could give this business a negative, I would! I have been a regular customer for years. I always pay for the $5 service! This morning it was about 10 degrees. I went through today and the dryer never turned on! I asked the attendent about it. He said that he would ask the owner when he gets done going through the other automatic car wash that FROZE up. After sitting there in my car with 2 children for more than 10 minutes and my car at this point had ice from one end of the car to the other, this is what I was told. "You didn't pay for the dryer service, we can't help you." I was furious!! As a customer whom has gone there for years and ALWAYS paid for the $5 service and received the dryer service was told they couldn't help me! I drove down the road to Joe's autowash and explained what happen, they kindly ran my car through and cleaned off the ice AND DRIED IT! Jon's autowash has lost my business! This place provides the best car wash you will ever have! I have friends and family who will actually drive out to Chesterfield to get their cars washed here. The tunnel wash is almost double the length of most other washes in the area....your car gets covered with three different types of soap at 3 different intervals throughout the wash....they have great options and the automated entrance with credit card acceptance is the best. They have free air for patrons as well which is great. This place is AWESOME!!!! read more

This Car Wash is in Dis-Repair. The owner does not maintain his equipment.. There have been numerous occasions where I've put money in the cash dispencer and one component or another was not working. the blow dryer count down clock has been broken for over a year so I brought my own stop watch to work around it. But there are issues that can't be worked around. If there happens to be an employee working, he is very limited in what he can do to help you. If it's taken your money and not given you service he can't give you a refund or even reset the equipment to see if he can get it going. All you can do is leave your name and address and wait for your refund. I've been waiting for months now and still haven't seen my refund read more
