I drove almost 600 miles. No snow on the roads here in Michigan, but plenty of salt. Not so good on my white car that was covered in the stuff. After reading all the positive reviews for this family owned business, I decided to bypass the car wash further down on Maple a mile from where I was staying and come here. My car was filthy and had caked on sledge on the undercarriage. I paid for a step up from the basic wash and got the $10 deal. Totally worth it! My car was super clean and the guy that did the wipe down did a thorough job. Even though it did rain the following day, and salt from the roads are attracted to my vehicle, I left Michigan with a happier car. read more

We took the car on a road trip to Chicago ...it had several dead critters decorating the front of the car! PICKY CAR WASH PEOPLE: This is an EXCELLENT car wash!! I chose the basic $8 car wash. I paid the attendant & continued to the vacuum area. They have several vacuum stations that you pay .50 cents and get 4 minutes. The vacuum was very powerful and I was able to clean it pretty well considering a road trip & children. After the vacuum, I proceeded to the car wash. One young man was there waiting with a hose. This is where the magic happened! This young man must have spent at least 7 minutes on my vehicle with at least 3 different rounds of hose...I have no idea what he did, but he did magic! Then I proceeded thru the wash and ended with another young man waiting to dry my car. A THOROUGH hand dry ...my vehicle was DRY...absolutely dry after this young man dried it. DRY DRY! This wash outdoes any car wash... And it's locally owned...I def will visit this wash frequently. read more

Your Car Wash is by far the best Car Wash I've been to in Michigan. Not exaggerating, not kidding, I was stunned by how clean my car came out after the wash. The car wash is set up in a semi-autonomous, semi-human operator fashion. You enter the booth, and an attendant foams/sprays your car down by hand, and then it's washed by the machines. I got the top level wash, and it was fantastic. The price is only $15 which is more than the $3.50 you pay at the carwashes that scratch your car, but still less than I've paid at others that leave your car partially unclean. Don't miss out on this great car wash, I'm torn on whether I'm happy or sad that I live far away from here... On one hand, It's hard for me to get a good car wash where I live. I am now stuck with a $74 book of car washes, that they happily took my money for, and a ready-to-redeem Free Wash card for frequent fliers that can never be used. 9/18/21 I came in for a wash today. Normally the service is great. Today someone claiming to be the owners daughter ruined all of that: every time I come in I buy the most expensive wash and I tip generously. I also purchase extra tire shine after the wash. When I asked for it today I was told " we don't do that'. When I said it was done last time, I was told again we don't do that. When I asked why I can't purchase and get what I want, she said it will be an extra 3 dollars. I told her I don't care if it's 3 dollars or 20 I want the extra tire shine. She then told me she doesn't have to serve me and handed me back my card. I am a customer service superstar in my industry and what I received today was anything but customer service. I will never come here again and recommend to anyone I know to never come here. read more

Used to be a very reliable and top tier car wash. They have had two components inside the track strapped and not working for months now (the spinners are literally dormant). Also after multiple price increases, now added a 3.99 or 4.99% surcharge for charge sales. Build it into your cost like every other business has had to and suck it up. Seeing that surcharge starburst on the price menu was a huge turnoff. Since they don't have all the equipment working inside the car wash but continue to raise prices I will find a new spot. read more

used to be my favorite car wash but has been hit or miss at best lately. I drive 5 miles out of my way past several other car washes because it used to be worth it. twice it was closed during normal business hours and they said I should visit the website to make sure they were open. that worked until I got the at 5:30 when they said they were open until 6:00 but the employee, that was leaving said they decided to close early. left message with the car wash and received no response. today I went and got their best car wash, the "King of the Road", but it was sub par and the tire shine was non existent. I've been a loyal (male) customer for many years. I always got the standard wash ($7). I would go on Wednesdays because it was an additional $1 off for men = $6. I tip the towel dry person $2 so it costs me a total of $8. They still have the punch card to get their best car wash free after 12 washes. I didn't notice any difference between the standard wash and best wash. I went last week and they raised the price to $8 and eliminated the Wednesday $1 off. It now costs me $10. I also noticed that the water spraying on my driver door window was a brown color. I don't think they flush the water very often to save money. After the towel dry, any remaining drips would dry white (from the road salt in the water). Yes, I have a black car. It's time to start looking for another car wash. read more

Went there because I just moved to the neighborhood and the yelp reviews were so good My. Experience not so good. Had a tire issue pulling in and you could smell burnt rubber and the attendant was going to put car through anyway Seriously ! I backed out and straightened it of course. Got a car wash here yesterday. Nice place and car looked great afterward. The attendant seemed really stressed and was not that friendly. I wasn't even greeted, I told her what wash I wanted and all she said was "this is the smallest you have?" I offered to use a credit card, she didn't respond and handed me my change and raced to the next car. I know it can get stressful when you're busy, but you should probably be courteous to your paying customers. But anyway, the car wash is what I came for. Monday's are apparently ladies day so I got a surprising $1 off. Sweet! The spray attendant took care and sprayed off my entire car. The actual car wash did a good job of getting my car clean and the drying attendant took his time and did a nice job finishing the wash. I'll be back again another Monday. I'd like to try the vacuums. read more

I noticed in general car washes in Michigan aren't very impressive but I'm unsure of how this location has such high ratings compared to others. For the top of the line wash is 15 which comes with tire shine. First of all when you're charging a premium of 15 you'd think vacuuming would be free but it's not, it's 50 cents more. The locations machine is better equipped and does a better wash for the top of the car but he side brushes are very weak, mud stains remained after the wash on my windows. In addition the tire shine these guys do they do before the wash which is counter intuitive as after the wash it's no longer 'shining'. The guy at the very end barely wipes down the car. Overall not a very good wash. read more

This is the only place I'll get my car washed. Staff is super friendly and I like that the guy spraying the car in the front always waves like "thanks for stopping by". When you get the top of the line car wash (King of something? the road?) it takes a while for your car to get dirty. Had a coworker ask me how the heck my car was slow clean during the muddy/rainy times. The bottom rung wash is also good, I normally only go for the top when my cars real dirty. Funny. Thier website is currently suspended because they have an invoice past due it says, hope this doesn't mean it's going to close up. I would seriously be heartbroken. read more

When I initially purchased my Mini I was super neurotic about washing it. I was told by the dealership I shouldn't take it through a car wash. Are you kidding me? What do I do in the winter? Your Car Wash was recommended to me by another Mini owner and I've been a loyal customer ever since. The staff is friendly, if the price is a bit high. I think I was spoiled by my old dollar car wash. But they do a good job and three years in my car looks good. It's well-maintained. I do miss the free vacuum tokens they used to give out with a premium wash. Like I said.. spoiled. I had one bad experience -a piece of my front fender once came off (completely unharmed). I didn't notice it until later that day. I called in a panic and - with some prodding - they found and held onto the part for me. I was able to place it back on without any damage or trouble. But I did find it odd that no one noticed it happen during the process. There tend to be people at every stage of the wash and dry. All-in-all, I'm pretty loyal to My Car Wash and happy with the service and staff here. I feel safe and am glad to have an alternative to hand-washing the car. As an apartment-dweller, that was really becoming quite a chore. read more

I'm very particular when it comes to who I allow to wash my car. Frankly, I prefer to do it myself. However, Michigan winters make it very difficult for me to get out there and scrub-a-dub. My next best option is the $7 basic wash at Your Car Wash. No scratches, fast , friendly service, and a hand- towel dry at the end. Love this car wash as it is the only one that can accommodate my wide rear tires. Staff is always friendly and does a great job. Microfiber towels to dry off car by an attendant who takes his time and does a nice job. A little more expensive than other car washes, but a far better product is received. As far as car washes go, this is simply the best. The woman at the cash register was very friendly and helpful when I asked her about the lammscloth (soft cloth wash) they use to make sure it wouldn't scratch my car. The prices are a tad higher than your average car wash, but it is because they actually wash your car, not leave spotty streaks and swirl marks. The attendant takes his time spraying down cars and makes sure to coat it really well. My car came out clean and shiny. I declined the hand towel dry as I really only trust myself to dry and polish car. I did notice a few hairline scratches, which is why I'm leaving a 4, but I'm pretty positive that they were caused by a previous car wash (ahem, Jax), but there was no way to tell. Overall, a worth your money, and not to worry about swirl marks. Keep up the good work! read more

Very pleasant staff and paid attention to details. I told the staff member who was at the start of the washing part that I had a lot of bugs and he said he would take of it with a smile. He spent about 10 min washing/ scrubbing/ and making sure the bugs were off prior to sending me through the wash. I was very appreciative of him taking extra care before sending me through unlike most other places that just quickly spray some soap/ whatever and send you through. This is the first car wash that I have been to ever and this is the last time I am coming back to this place. Can I say RUDE customer service? I was constantly being yelled at for not doing this, not doing that. I got the premium wash (#1) which was really ultimately the same as the cheaper washes. I really didn't see a difference there. Also, they have a scammer making his rounds around there trying to get your car insurance policy number. Wonderful how this "awesome" car wash venue aligns itself to such bull. I recently got a new car and was a little high strung about washing it. After consulting my friend who swears by this car wash I thought I'd give it a try. I was nothing but really happy with the results. First of all, the people that have taken my money and punched my little card I got when I started going there are consistently upbeat - dare I say it? Pleasant! I don't know about you but I have never encountered a car wash employee who I felt genuinely smiled at me or cared that I was there until coming here. It's fast, nothing but water and soap touch your car and the people who dry off your car are pleasant as well. It's ok. Don't bother with the vacuums--suction is non-existent and you can get free vacuums with suction right down the road at Jax. The set up is kind of strange. If you want to vacuum your car you have to drive past the car wash attendant where you would pay for the wash. Not sure how you are supposed to go about vacuuming and washing your car. The car wash itself was unremarkable, but my car didn't get scratched like other Yelpers had mentioned. I just went for the basic wash. read more
