Now I'm reviewing car washes. A new low. But I had to do it. I got the premium super do it all package. Then they gave me a lottery ticket. When I got back to my office I realized my car is still filthy. Not like white glove unacceptable but visually filthy. So $16, a free lottery ticket, and no tip because I had no cash. Express car was $7, gas was $2.49/gallon, not bad. The wash wasn't bad. The pre-wash is well worth the wash. They actually take a couple of minutes to scrub and wash before it goes into the machine, nice for a change. Still had a few dirty spots on the rear right and rear of the vehicle too. The machine dryer worked well and they have a quick towel dry before you leave. Pretty quick and efficient service. I didn't have any streaks and my car actually looked like it went through the more supreme wash cycle. Got about 90% of the dirt off the car. My CUV is white so any leftover dirt shows immediately after a wash. read more

I mostly use one of the self service spray wand car wash facilities to save money and, let's face it, the car will just get dirty again rather quickly. But this time I was scheduled for an inspection for a lease vehicle turn in so I consulted Yelp, of course. What I was looking for was one that scrubbed and dried the exterior as well as vacuumed and wiped the interior. These are rare and now seem to be generally referred to as Auto Detailers and cost way more than I planned to spend for a turn in vehicle! This shows how long it has been since I've been to a "full service" car wash. I finally realized that what I was looking for probably doesn't exist. I spotted Pro Car Wash that had some good reviews including some from fellow Yelpers that I recognized so I decided to give them a try. I have been by here more times than I can remember but have never been in. When you enter there are gas pumps if you need gas, I proceeded around them to the back where there were several Vacuum Stations. For the price of $1, you can select six minutes of Regular or four minutes of Turbo fast, courteous, and efficient self service and a generally clean interior. Just inside the wash facility through a pedestrian door (don't drive into the wash entrance yet) there is a floor mat wash station where you can bring in your floor mats and, for a nominal fee, insert them for a four minute clean and wash cycle. I didn't use it because the vacuum removed most of the dirt already. Then you pull your car up and enter the wash tunnel, stop and pay (I think was $7), shift to neutral, and enjoy the entertainment. As you exit the other end, there are workers there ready to wipe your vehicle dry and reset your mirrors if they folded. Everyone there was friendly and they weren't even annoyed when I asked questions about their systems and facilities. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I have seen it crowded in the past as I drove by but not when I was there. I think people were still thawing from the recent COLD weather and hadn't thought about car washes yet. I'll definitely be back whenever the $2 wash just won't cut it. Highly recommended! read more

Today all went well until driving away from the WEST side of Rochester Road Pro Car Wash, I noticed that my windows were all smeared with wax. All blurry. I was in a hurry, couldn't go back. As a customer of the PRO-CAR carwashes for 30+ years I feel compelled to comment on an incident I experienced today (3/13/21). I stopped at the carwash on the West side of Rochester Road to fill-up and get my car washed. Upon exiting the young men went to work toweling off the car. One of the towels caught on my wiper blade and it broke off. The young man was very apologetic and sent me to speak with 'his manger.' The young woman behind the counter spent a few minutes trying to figure out what to do and decided she needed to call her 'manager.' I had an appointment and we agreed that I would return later to remedy this problem. About an hour later I returned and upon entering was told by the cashier that 'he admitted that it was his fault and he will pay for your wiper blade, just bring back the receipt.' REALLY - this was an accident and correcting that should be a cost of doing business not making a young man take the money out of his pocket. PRO-CAR has collected thousands of dollars from me for both car washes and gasoline over the decades that I have been a customer. However, based upon this single experience (a $30 wiper blade) they will never make another dime off of me. What a TERRIBLE way to treat the young people who work there. This behavior is totally unacceptable. The owners are CHEAPSKATES. On my way out I stopped and told the young man that I understood that it was absolutely an accident and that I would be replacing the wiper blade myself... It should have been his employer's responsibility and should not come out of his pocket! read more

Been rocking the Pro Wash since 1999. Pull into the tunnel of sparkly love. Get washy washy. Shine on. Quality of wash is very good for price. Four different levels of service. The pro basic or special are all I ever get. Attached gas station, and tiny convenience store (pop mostly) adds a big 'convenience' compared to most stand alone washes. The ones typically attached to gas stations are terrible pieces of junk where you punch in some code from your pump receipt.. Pro has strong air blowers, and hand towel at the end. Easy access layout to the vacuum (even when not getting a wash), unlike damm Jax wash at 15 n Coolidge. Can gas up, pop up, vacuum, and wash. There's a floor mat washing unit inside the door next to the car entrance. I've never used it however. Stay in your car, pay in the tunnel = awesome. Don't forget you can get 'wash books' anytime. It's 5 washes for the price of four. You get a little book of tickets (business card size). Keep em in your car and you'll only have to reach in your pocket to tip the towel dryers. Yes there are better gas station / convenience stores. and yes there are better 'stand alone' washes. For the combo this place gives you, it's top notch. Again, it's a quality wash. read more

Pro Car Wash was honestly just a quick, 'let's-stop-here-on-the-way' sort of schpeel, but I'm quite glad we did. All the people working here were really friendly. I won't lie, we weren't able to tip the person we paid the $10.00 wash for, I didn't even think about it. For that, if you're reading this, we apologize... you were worth it. Nice smile, very friendly! The wash was quick, my car is clean, at the end, my husband did tip the dryers! Everyone was polite, the job was well done and I'm happy. Worth 5 stars to me! They sell a booklet of 5 car washes and advertise that you only pay for 4 and hence save 20%. The express car wash is $7.00 each so the booklet should be for $28.00 for 5 car washes. This means that each car wash costs a person $5.60 They sell the booklet for $36.00 which is $7.20 per car wash. When I asked them what this was and they said that they don't have any $7.00 booklets so they sell the $9.00 each car wash booklet which is the cost of the express wash in their other location. So in realty if you buy the booklet instead of getting a 20% discount, you actually end up paying more than what is the cost per car wash. Really !!!!! Do better than this please. read more

I have to disagree with Yelp on 2.5 stars! This place is right by my work, and I've been coming for years. You can't beat this deal, especially when you're getting gas anyways. Their price for gas is right at the same as the others around, and then u get a discount for getting a car wash with the gas. One time I accidentally hit "yes" for car wash, (out of habit) when it was raining. I went inside and they gave me a coupon for a car wash to use in the future. They even upgraded the wash I had originally bought with the better one. Having dryers is a game changer for me, I love that they are always so polite and thorough with drying my car! read more

Paid for their "WORKS" wash and it was like you got a car wash from a hose and sponge. Never got the tire shine or cleaner, still had dirt in some spots of my truck, they are inconsistent on removing my antenna and their towel drying personnel is a joke I could dry my truck off down the expressway better then they do it. So after $15 for a car wash I'll be heading elsewhere for them to actually clean my vehicle the way "Pros" do it. read more

Damaged wheel on my Roush Mustang Stage 3.....so I pull up in a rare collector quality Roush Stage 3 Mustang, which I usually only hand wash, but decided to give them a try. After I specifically asked the frontline worker to make sure my wheels will not scrape before he allows my car to go in, he assured me that I will be fine. After the wash, I inspect the car for scratches. Paint looked great, but the wheel acquired some deep gouges, deep enough to need refinishing or replacing. Manager gave me owners #. Owner said for me to call him back so he can take care of it. But every time I called him , he conveniently would not answer or call back. Very typical. I know he doesn't care that he lost a customer, he makes thousands of dollars a week washing cars, so losing me was probably a benefit for him. No problem, just be careful if you have low profile tires and expensive wheels (Lesson learned). read more

Worst car wash. Paid $10 and my car was still dirty. I asked if they could make sure to spray the lift gate real good - so they didn't spray it at all. To top it off, one of the kids drying the car was using a towel with grease on it. I thought it was dirty, but no it was a black oily grease rubbed all over the drivers side of my car. I wasn't pleased with Pro Car Wash, at least not enough that I would drive out of my way to go here. Vacuums were $1.00. For the $12 car wash that I got, I expected that my car exterior would be clean and wiped dry. Not only did my car not get clean (bird poo and some sticky stuff that was on the car previously was still there after the wash), but the after-wash wipe down was pretty lame, the car was still dripping wet. I asked the attendant if they had anything to take off the sticky stuff on the hood of my car and she said they might have it inside but I could buy it at the store. Yeah, I could buy it at the store and wash my car myself - so what was the point of paying $12 at her business? read more
