Sure it might clean up the middle.. maybe even the top of your car (if its a sedan), but the bottom of the doors and closer to the tires typically remain dirty afterward. I'd assume because some of the soap solution is cheap or the machines don't properly repeat and/or cover the entire vehicle. Overall good, but not great by any means. If you don't care about swirls on the paint, go to a damn Jax car wash instead lol. --- Manual carwash: Lasts only a few minutes of, which is only enough time to rinse, tire clean, soap down once, and wax. There's not enough time to dry the vehicle using the air hose or use any other feature in 1 cycle. This runs you about $5 per cycle (at the time of writing this), which you'll need to purchase 2 for anything that's larger than a sedan or take full advantage of the manual carwash. Also good overall, but it doesn't seem to use great soap. I'd only go here if you need to blast your car with a pressure washer due to thick mud or dirt buildup. In general, there's still sediment and dirt that's not properly taken off your car for BOTH types of washes

I come here semi regularly for a few different reasons. It's close to home, convenient, and honestly, they do a halfway decent job. Even when they were under a different name, they were still pretty good. Prices here have, for the most part, stayed the same over the years. The basic wash is $7 and actually isn't half bad. The next one up is $9, and I rotate between the two. Staff here is friendly and quick, so no qualms there. I never spend a lot of time waiting even when it's busy with a line. They don't offer vacuuming of any kind, but you do get a hand dry by two guys when you exit, after the hurricane force blowers almost take out your car. (I kid, I kid.) You can tip if you'd like, but not obligated. Side note of why I like this place besides convenience and location: It seems like in the past few years, all these new car washes keep popping up like weeds across town. Most of them are good, but for a self service drive thru car wash, Why am I paying 15 dollars to an automated machine and leave with spots on my car and dirt film in certain places? I find that drive through car washes tend to miss the same spots consistently. Usually around the license plate area and underneath my break light area is where the scrubbers in the wash tend to not get all the dirt off. I've asked a few times for the guys here to scrub in those areas so my car is clean and consistently they do a fabulous job of it. Also, they don't try to sell you or have a membership here. That's another new thing in the market today. While there's nothing wrong with a membership, I literally do not want or need one. The guys here also don't charge a ton which is also another great thing. I know I mentioned this earlier, but it really is wonderful. They also have a second location somewhere off John R, which I have yet to try. But, I will keep going here because they really are good.

I'd been here once before during the summer and wanted to come back since I like to mix things up from time to time. Pulling in, You have to be careful because cars are pulling out of the wash as your making the right to get into line. They have two lines here. One for members, one for people like me who are not. The prices here start at $10 and go up to $35. I decided to upgrade and get the better wash #3 for $13. Not a bad price, really comparatively speaking. The one cool thing that keeps me coming back here is the conveyor belt that scoots the car along! SO much easier than trying to line up the wheels of your car like other car washes. I heard they have the rainbow spray here, but did not pay for that upgrade. I'm just a fan of the conveyor belt! My only complaint? They really pack you in like sardines here for the car wash when it's busy. I know they have to keep it moving, but I do like my space. Also, the place is a little tricky to get in and out of when traffic is heavy on the main road. They do have vacuums here, but I wasn't needing it today. Despite being a very busy gas station on a highly travel road, the gas pumps are exceedingly slow…read morewhen trying to pump premium gas. This has been going on for months. After 10 minutes, you may get a gallon or two worth of fuel. The clerks always say they are low on fuel and that is why there is no pressure. The store itself seems to be well stocked. However, the clerks tend to smoke inside the store. Very unappealing and probably illegal. I hate walking in to buy a lottery ticket while killing time waiting for the super slow pump and being inundated with second hand smoke. The car wash is super sketchy. It is behind the building and unlit. During the nighttime hours, it is pitch black inside the carwash. Since the car wash is wide open and anyone can walking in and out, this seems like a security risk. Keep your doors locked! The car wash equipment is rusted out, but seems to work fine. However, the advertised prices on the sign don't match what the kiosk charges for a wash. The best part about this gas station is watching the raccoons come and go from their dumpster.
