We needed to replace broken glass in a sliding glass door urgently or risk fire insurance cancellation. We contacted another glass company who after the estimate extended their timeline by a month. Mack's Glass came through in a short window of time at half the cost. read more

Being a Realtor, especially in these busy times, gives me lots of opportunities to work with many vendors in both the Grass Valley and Truckee area. I have to say that Jerry and Tom have both been such a pleasure to work with, and they did a wonderful job in installing my showers in my new custom home. They came out to measure within a couple of days and installed quickly once the glass came in. There was also a misunderstanding in which glass I wanted for my kitchen cupboards and even though I signed off on the wrong glass, they re-ordered and replaced it and didn't even charge me! I highly recommend them for all of your glass needs! read more

These people are great! Jerry searched until he found an affordable windshield for my 1980 Datsun 510 wagon. I had already done quite a bit of looking, but he beat the prices plus he did a wonderful job of installing it. All good news when we have neighbors like this! read more

I had heard about Impressive Exteriors from a good friend who a couple years back had purchased a big name French door (starts with a "A" and ends in "son"), and she had nothing but problems with it and the installation of said door. She found this business and had them replace her door with a new "Anlin" French door and was so happy. She recommended these guys to me since I, for years , had a faulty sliding glass door that was falling apart and I couldn't take it any longer. Dave was super responsive and came over quickly to talk to me. He saw my door and agreed it was shot. He explained a lot to me about the warranty of Anlin windows vs the other guys and I loved the fact that they are made here in our state. Dave NEVER pressured me to purchase the new door, and in fact, never tried to sell me on purchasing the other two sliders I have. He gave me a quote for three sliding glass doors and four windows per MY request, allowed me to think it over and get back to him, which I did the next day. I spent that evening doing my research on the Anlin product, and was confident in the quality and craftsmanship of their products, plus their unbelievable warranty. I can't tell you enough what a joy it was not only to work with with him during this project, but with EVERYONE in this company! These are the epitome of friendly, reliable professionals I've ever done business with! I wish every home improvement business worked like they do! BEWARE: I hired Taylor and Justin to do a gutter replacement on my house…read more There are even more issues than mentioned here, but I'll try and keep it as brief as possible. I have a lot of trees above my house, so gutter guards were also included in the quote. They started on the install and I came home half way through, before the gutter guards were even installed--and there was a huge drop down from the roof edge to the top of the gutter. It looked odd to me, so I questioned it and they insisted it was normal. At the beginning of the job they suggested changing out the current 7" gutters for 5" because "it's more modern looking and would still be functional"--but the gap (that they said would be covered up by the gutter guards) looked extremely odd(should have known here to cut and run). They completed the job and I asked them to paint the gutter guards, as you could see so much of them, it looked like my roof had a silver grill. They painted them, I paid them, even a bit more than they charged, paid all cash and they went on their way. Upon inspection, I started noticing issues that caused me to question the quality of their work. There were busted boards underneath the roof awning, drilled holes into my house that were backed out and never caulked, seams that didn't line up, sealing job on the inside that was so bad it was prohibiting water to actually drain---but worst of all, I did a water test and water just went right over the top of the gutter guard down the side of the gutters. I called them, voicing my concerns and they came back out. I told them I was unhappy with the damage and that the gutters didn't even work, and they looked me in my eyes and swore they didn't drill holes and not fill them or anything of the other things I claimed. So we went up on the roof and I showed them the 12+ holes I had in my house that they didn't repair, along with the wood damage that they said "was just because it was hard to get the old gutters off". At that point only one of them apologized. The worst part, was that they sat there and swore up and down that everything was fine with the gutter install, and that my "water test" was too much water and that the "coating on the gutter guards would become better after it rained". I said fine, but they agreed to come back out to repair the holes and "pressure wash" the gutter guards, for some unknown reason, as they thought that it would get the "oil" off the paint and allow water to go through them easier. Fact is, the reason that the gutters don't function at all, is because they installed 5" gutters when they should have been 7" gutters. Because of that, the angle down from the roof edge to the edge of the gutter is so great that water just goes right over the top and the gutters don't even function--on top of also pushing the edge of my end roof shingles up to allow for water intrusion. I've sent them videos of it, and they still want to come back out and "assess for themselves" even though they've been back out twice and claim up and down that the 5" gutters are just fine. I told them no that they've had their chances, and that I want a refund, and it's been crickets ever since. Since then, I've had two different roofers out to look at the job and a general contractor, and all three have said that because I have 2X6 rafter tails that 5" gutters should NEVER have been installed. My guess is, is that Taylor and Justin don't have a machine that cuts 7" gutters so they suggested 5" to my detriment, and still don't want to take responsibility for their mistake. I wouldn't have written this review if they made any attempt at all to take responsibility for their mess up or even come to the table to make things right, but the fact is I paid thousands of dollars for a product that simply doesn't do as it is intended.

Their plumber came out to fix my laundry faucets with new washers and left saying it was repaired. Within 10 days I turned off the laundry faucets to attach the wall elbows onto the machine for it to slide into its closet and close the door, only to find out that one of the faucets was STILL LEAKING. Plumber came back and said it was MY fault for turning off the fuacet???!!!??.(What are faucets for????) That the entire laundry water supply box needed to be replaced. I checked to see that the laundry water supply box replacement needed replacement and cost (high$$$) was true and neccesary then called them to see if they would compromise. They have avoided my 5 messages. Plus, I'm on a well and since I can't stop the leak my well pump is contiually working and adding to my PG&E bill. BAD JOB, AVOIDED ADMITTING THEIR MISTAKE, BLAMED THE CUSTOMER AND WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR INCOMPLETE WORK DONE! BEST TO JUST AVIOD THEM!

Jeana, the office manager was rude and is ruining this business. I was finally able to get her to send me the quote which is generated by their QuickBooks software which goes straight into my junk mail - unbeknownst to me because the problem is they weren't telling me they were sending me the quote. Then she claims she called me (my desk phone) many times but she didn't leave me any voicemails. I sent them yet another e-mail asking in an extremely nice way for the quote. This time she informed me that she sent me the quote but replied in what seemed an indignant manner - she seemed offended (and I now know she was) that I asked her to send me the quote directly rather than have it generated from software that was ending up in my spam folder which she effectively claimed was impossible (she could have generated the quote to herself and then forwarded it to me - easy) so I checked my spam file and of course it was there and I said: got the quote - see how easy that was - after which I get an e-mail from the same e-mail address, claiming that it's Curtis (the really nice gentleman who came out and did the proposal) stating that they will decline to do services for us.

When we had the house painted a few years ago the painter took them down, and we hadn't had woodpeckers around so I just stored the cables in the garage. But this sprng the buggers came back. At 79 years old there's now way I should be getting on the roof, or an extension ladder. Pat was able to come out and very quickly get them installed for a very reasonable price. We are certainly pleased with the service we got!!!

We were in desperate need of a new "apron" at the bottom of our 400' driveway as the asphalt was crumbling and just kept getting worse. Freschi came in and fixed the several patches on the concrete part of our driveway (using rebar!) and put in a beautiful asphalt "apron". We have had so many compliments from neighbors "now your place really does look like an estate", etc.! Freschi's team is professional, honest and has integrity and they were wonderful in communicating the various steps to expect throughout the whole process (from Shirley in the office to the team on site). We chose them because previously, we had them put in a beautiful rock retaining wall and repair some other sections of our concrete driveway that were in need of repair. We highly recommend them and if, in the future, we were to need remodeling work, we'd choose them for that as well! Had glass door swing door installed in March of 2021. Had some problems right off the bat and…read morecompany returned and said they fixed it but in reality it was a temporary fix. 6 months or so went by and we noticed the door was rubbing a bit when it closes. No biggie thought it just needed an adjustment. Saved doing the adjustment for ourselves during a slower time of year and figured it was something minor. When that time came we found out the original fix they did was just a patch. They used some rubbery glue type substance to fix it. See photos. Anyhow called the company and asked them to come out and fix it. Cheryl said they no longer work in Nevada for smaller jobs and to call someone else. Said door was out of warranty. I explained I realize we should have originally called you right when the problem started happening again and am willing to pay for the repair this time but still no go. Got the we are just too busy to do any small work in your area right now and she said that was coming directly from the owner after she explained to him our issues. Moral of the story is had it been repaired/adjusted correctly the first time we wouldn't have had this issue down the road. Company said they no longer do "small" work in Nevada as well.
