Planned to come out 2/27 to start project texted the day of and said another issue came up with a prior job site and they wouldn't be out. Showed up on 2/29 at about 10am worked 4 hours and left. Showed up on 3/1 at about noon worked about 5 hours. 3/5 wanted me to do a walk through as he thought he would be done that day I hesitated but agreed as I needed to go to work. Another mistake I made. The following day I noticed multiple things that needed to be corrected stair railing not screwed together in places, missing screws in boards, screw plugs missing, post rail missing, bad seam on the fascia board looked bad, I texted Kody who was having surgery and would be unavailable for a week or so but would come fix issues when recovered. 3/15 was supposed to come fix issues didn't come out. 3/23 had to text for follow up. 4/5 again had to text for follow up. 4/8 showed up to fix railing in the process of taking the railing off slightly bent one of the spindles, didn't fix other issues he needed to order stuff to finish fixing or replace. 5/1 supposed to come out sometime during the week did not show, again had to text to see when he was coming back. 5/23 had to text again on when he was coming to fix the issues, said he could come out the following week. I was going to be gone so had to make it 2 weeks later. 6/6 showed up to fix issues had to leave within an hour to get a new drill bit. Pointed out the bent stair railing spindle he didn't think he had done it when he took it down but agreed to replace the railing. Almost 5 months later haven't heard from him about fixing this. All in all the deck work that was done was very poorly done for being a professional. This wasn't the cheapest quote nor was it the most expensive but because of this company I will be hesitant to use small companies because Kody has given small businesses a terrible reputation. Poor workmanship, lack of communication and not trustworthy. Do your research Kody may have done good work at some point but this year his worked didn't measure up.

Mike…read morestarted out with the highest bid for the fence; we wanted to use him since he says he is a Vet and we support our Vets, and he was the only company that didn't tell us we had to cut down trees before installing a new fence. He came down in price, and added digging out a bush, (which he only cut down but did not dig it out). The village changed their privacy fence ordinance, so that really messed us us. We were told by Mike that the spacing inbetween the pickets on the shadowbox fence on the street side of our yard would be 3/4 inch; NOT, they are 1.5 inches, so we basically have no privacy at all on the street side . He insisted the gaps in that section that he was currently installing were 3/4 and that is what the village required. Again, NOT. I stood infront of the fence with him and told him I could see right through to my neighbor's yard, of which he insisted I could not. The rest of the 3 sides of the picket fence are uneven, crooked posts, rails not spaced properly, bad materials used. Why did I pay him? Cause I wanted him out of my sight after I asked him to fix the shadow box fence side and they stopped working cause they thought I would not pay them. I had no choice to pay him; I have dogs and needed my fence finished! I should have known there was a problem when he took our deposit and wouldn't return calls. The install was in July, 2022; it is almost November. I have called, texted and emailed easily 100 times and have gotten no response. I would have been better off highering a kids down the street to install this fence!
