Weather was an issue but what was more of an issue was that he worked alone and talked on his phone more than he seemed to work. Many people were commenting on how slow he was working. The rot under the siding was fixed well, the stairs were done in the back well, stairs in front my husband felt the support was suspect (means 4x4s were cut short - he made up some excuse that this was his intent) and door window was damaged and cracked. We have tried to contact him on multiple occasions, even going so far as forgetting all the support issues but wanted our door window repaired or replaced. He has ghosted us!! This is unacceptable. We paid him to do a job and didn't hold back any money (our mistake - now he has no reason to call us back). So now our only option is to hire a lawyer to get our door window repaired or replaced because at this point that's all we care about. We didn't pay all that money to have a door that doesn't function properly!

He recommended wainscoting from floor half way up and new drywall the rest. Topnotch Results! I removed 90% of the tile=sm. He recommended waterproof laminate flooring. Very Happy! We understood that working with insurance companies can be a lengthy and complex process, and we approached the situation with patience. However, our experience with EDP Construction's support staff was marked by ongoing communication issues and unmet commitments. When we reached out for updates on scheduling or next steps, we were frequently told, "I don't have an answer for you now, but I'll get back to you either way by [Monday]." Unfortunately, we never received follow-up on any of the dates they provided--this happened consistently. As of today, July 29, we are still waiting for the warranty and labor/material paperwork that was promised to be mailed to us. We were told on July 10 it would be sent, another promised on the 14th, then again on the 18th, and again on the 24th. This pattern has continued without resolution. I also requested to speak directly with the owner, Ector Di Paolo, and asked to leave him a voicemail. I was told he was out of the country for two weeks and that messages can be provided to him by staff. Throughout the past year, the office staff has apologized many times, but the core issue remains: expectations were set and not met. We were repeatedly given timelines and assurances that were not followed through on, and we've had to continually follow up ourselves to get information that was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend working with this company at this time.
